Very disappointed with this hotel. Decided to upgrade our stay here to a club level room that offers all the amenities available which were a nice touch, hot spring onsen was nice and refreshing, drinks for free at the club lounge, and breakfast was plentiful. The service was OK at best. The worst part about this was no AC… even though they state it on their website. I currently have the window open, 2 tiny fans one at the window trying to pull in cool air from outside and another on the opposite side with a bucket of ice trying to cool the room down. The hotel staff told us the AC unit in the room was only for heating which doesn’t make any sense since AC stands for AIR CONDITIONING. Waking up throughout the night in a pile of sweat is not what you expect when staying at a “4 star” hotel. Location is far away from anything you’d want to see in Kobe but having the train station close by made it an OK experience. Amenities and views are nice but not worth living in discomfort. Wouldn’t stay here again even if it was free. Look elsewhere for a comfortable accommodation.

Large hotel with lots of rooms and staff so individualized service should not be expected, like in other luxury hotels. They made accommodations for my preferred bed size but I expect that as standard service. Onsen was amazing, totally worth going for that. Spa offered Thai massage, which was amazing! Couldn't reserve dim sum lunch, so call ahead of time. If you are taking a taxi to/from Osaka station or the airports, let the hotel set that up for you. They have a fixed price agreement with a local taxi company, you can save 30%. Trains are also very convenient to hotel.

I Have been here last week. As for the marriott highest platinum member, the room was upgraded to highest floor and the view was fantastic. The hot spring was really best of best. And morning buffet was really nice for toast, fish, egg etc. Everything was really nice. I rarely leave the review, but i cannot help writing it.

Rooms were visibly very outdated. I was disappointed in the service I received because it felt like the front desk personnel didn't really care. Breakfast had a decent selection but it was overcrowded. Location was okay, in terms of convenience, and there's a Family Mart downstairs. Overall, I was pretty disappointed in this Sheraton and for a quick stay it might be okay but I'd look elsewhere for anything longer.

Nice, clean hotel with a fantastic view! Breakfast was very good: buffet with a wide array of Japanese, western, and Asian foods. The club lounge was comfortable, but a bit small. Fortunately we arrived early, but it appeared that there were people waiting in a line to get in for quite some time. The food offered is a small course. It's tasty, but it's a really small amount and there are no second servings, so don't plan on turning it into a meal. They had Japanese canned beer, sake, umeshu, and some spirits. The wine was Chartron La Fleur, and calling it wine is being pretty generous. The room was very nice. We were upgraded to a junior suite which had a beautiful bathroom with a shower stall and a separate bathtub. There was a large walk-in closet, and a small living room with a desk, sofa, and TV that led into a bedroom with a very comfortable king bed. My only complaint about the room was that the thermostat was set to a main unit so we couldn't control whether it was on the A/C or heater. Our stay was on an unseasonably warm day in February and the room was so hot I couldn't sleep until we had someone come upstairs and open the window for us. My last comment is about my experience at checkout. There's a scam (in my opinion) I've noticed that has been going on the last few years. I don't know if it's the hotel or the company that runs the credit card readers that is responsible, but, there's something called DCC (dynamic currency conversion) that's, in my experience is rarely explained adequately. I've read about this so I know to look for it, but I'm sure many people don't pay attention. Basically they charge you a fee or percentage rate (it seems to be somewhere between 3-5% but I'm not certain) to change from the local currency to the currency of your foreign credit card. If your card has no foreign transaction fees, they're just adding to your bill. If this is offered to you in Japan, you (or the staff) have to press the red (decline) button if you do not want to accept DCC.

I was very happy with my stay at Kobe Sheraton. The front desk staff, concierge and restaurant staff were all very friendly and courteous. The overall service was excellent. I was also impressed by its onsen (hot spring)— what a treat! Front desk manager Asahi was extremely helpful and accommodating. He went above and beyond to help, I really look forward to my future stay at this property. Although it is not located in the city center, there is a bus going directly to the Sannomiya station and there are other public transportation to go to the city center. I strongly recommend Kobe Sheraton.

The ingredients sign for buffet lacks to notify meat(beef, pork, chicken). So you'll find vegetable soup that actually have meat derived stock and shrip dim sum made with pork, but only has shrimp picture on the sign. The non Japanese waitresses says she'll have to bring it up with her boss(like if it was a big deal). With many foriegn guests and it's location, sad to see the low awareness of how important it is to have correct notice of ingredients without having to ask for their list.

Great service, club lounge, and excellent breakfast. Connected to station so easy access with attached mall and food options including Crazy Burrito with extensive vegetarian options that were amazingly tasty.

I was appalled to discover a few hairs still present in the bathtub, which was not up to my expectations for a 4-star hotel. The lounge was incredibly crowded. Perhaps it's not a conducive environment for the staff, as some staff appeared unhappy. I'm satisfied with the rest.

They didn’t clean up my room, didn’t change the towels either. The guy from the front desk department told me it’s because I told the housekeepers not to clean my room. But the truth is I went out very early and didn’t talk with anybody. The did not apologize or make up the room immediately, but told a lie. I couldn’t believe it’s a Sheraton hotel.

Easy access to/ from Osaka, Kobe, Himeji and Kyoto. Well maintained and clean. Staff very friendly and considered. ClubLounge is very nice, but happy hour is limited to 2 hrs , but 60 minutes per person only! Choice of restaurants in the neighborhood somewhat limited. Breakfast room on Sunday packed with waiting time (we chose not to wait). Wide range of foods, including some traditional European picks! Bottom line! Excellent value for money

Bay Sheraton Kobe hotel is located in Rokko island, Kobe, facing Osaka bay. The hotel has a natural hot springs facility with steam sauna and hot dry sauna. They have a nice view Teppan Yaki restaurant as well as a buffet restaurant on the ground floor. I stayed here more than 100 nights. One of my favorite Sheraton hotels. Very nice 👍

The room was a bit dated but it was spacious and convenient enough with comfortable beds. Onsen and breakfast were the best!

Good hotel. Shuttle bus to the centre was good for just 400Yen. Only not a 5-star because the food in the buffet was not great, I was unable to book in at the sky bar and there was a fault in my bathroom. Wouldn’t put me off using the hotel again.

We stayed at the Sheraton while my daughter played in a volleyball tournament at the Canadian Academy. It was a short walk - about 4 blocks - to the school, so it was a good location. There are plenty of places to eat - we really liked a small mom-and-pop noodle place near the McDonalds - and some small, quaint bars to go to nearby. The hotel itself was quite nice, but the gym/pool is not free for guests and costs about $10 to use the gym and almost $20 to use the lap pool. The breakfast was quite nice and the hotel has a sports bar that shows all of the big sporting events. (was a rugby game while we were there)

Not very good location. Marine park area feels like a failed urban development. Food is below average. Staff's english is quite poor. But the hotel does have a very nice onsen on premises
