I came here to try the Kobe beef but didn't want to pay too much, so I took the discount lunch menu of ¥2800 which includes the basic Kobe beef 180 grams, soup and salad. The service of the staff is outstanding. They speak English, they are very polite, clean and well organized. A proper dining experience I would say. I enjoyed the beef, very tastefully although I had the basics. The presentation of the plate is very good as well. I enjoyed my lunch over here!

Wow! Totally didn't regret coming into this place! We were looking for some kobe beef restaurant but the others were packed and need to book in advance (as some others have said here too.) The place was quiet and looked like a small quaint fine dining restaurant, the staff is very friendly and explained to us everything. I quite like the "outdated" decor, it fits steak perfectly. We tried three types, one of the cheaper one, medium priced one and the most expenisve one. Cheapest one is still really good, but the most expensive one definitely melts more in your mouth. The salad and soup appetizer were so good too!! Only down side is the waiting time for the beef was very long, but it's understandable for a small restaurant. Just give them a bit of leeway here. Recommend!!! However if you want fast service, go elsewhere. Otherwise do try!

We didn’t make any reservations in those extremely famous Kobe beef restaurants and so, we randomly walked into this restaurant which looked not as packed as the other restaurants during dinner. I tried the cheapest beef on the menu (2,500 Yen) and it tasted SO GOOD. I’m not too sure how good will the 10,000 Yen’s ones taste like. We have 2 friends in the group who don’t take beef and the restaurant went extra mile to prepare chicken dish which is not on the menu for them. GREAT service!

A lovely gastronomical experience ❤️ We got the daily wagyu cut and a small set each and it was the perfect amount of food. The staff is extremely friendly, explaining all the stuff, the atmosphere is nice and cozy. I’d recommend it 🥰 Thank you for everything!

We stopped at this place amongst the many in the area by chance. Definitely not the cheapest in town, but customer service and food was excellent. We ordered 4 different kinds of cuts. Um.. I wouldn’t say that they were worlds apart, but could tell the clear difference from the premium sirloin (12,900y) from the rest. Sushi was 800y each. Aside from the very steep price, I’d highly recommend this place.

I expected as much as the price mentioned outside on the board to be for the smallest portion of the cheapest kind of Kobe beef, so I wasn't surprised that most options were very expensive. I decided on the tender Kobe beef (second cheapest kind) at the minimum amount of 80 grams, and together with that I took set B, which includes not only rice, soup and a salad, but also a warm and a cold Kobe beef dish. It was amazing. All flavors were so delicious, they explained to first try the Kobe beef plain, and then with the different types of sauce, and the meat was so nice and tender. I ended up paying about ¥7000 including one drink but it was definitely worth it and I am so glad I picked this restaurant since also the staff was very nice, showed good service and spoke some English. Would definitely come back, and highly recommend this place!

I really enjoyed the meal. Each dish was plated elegantly and the music created a nice ambiance. The kobe sashimi was alright and since it was served as the first dish we were skeptical, but the rest of the meal proved to be amazing. I wish I could have devoured the entire pot of soup, best soup of my life. The kobe beef was delicious and they explained how to eat it in English. The vegetables served with a paired sauce was delectable. My husband's favorite was the desert since he loves creme brulee.

We forgot to reserve to any restaurant that serves kobe beef. So we tried and got rejected in 3 different restaurant because of this. Fortunately, we saw this restaurant. We did not bother to check for review on kobe beef kiyama. Even without reservation, we we're able to seat in less than 2 minutes. Service attendant knows english and english and I think chinese menu are available. I ordered prime kobe beef with Set 1. The beef I ordered was one of the best I ever had. My wife told me its A5. It is really good considering the price we kinda expected it. I suggest you experience the kobe beef combination. First try it as is. Then try with sauce only Then try with wasabi Then try with salt Then try with soy sauce Then try with garlic High quality kobe beef.

We are welcomed and served well. The introduction was good and the food was so well served and tastes absolutely good. Highly recommended and will definitely come again.

Finally me and my wife tasted the real Kobe beef. The beef was cooked to our liking. Good food quality and beautiful and detailed presentation. Clean environment. Servers served us with heart.

Delicious lunch set. Waitress taught me the order to eat the meat (plain, salt, wasabi, teriyaki sauce) Quaint, beautiful atmosphere. Small but well decorated. English is fluent enough to understand every word. Extremely polite service doesn’t get any better than this.

Ordered the best steak they had (40,000 for 120g) and was completely underwhelmed. Disposable single use chopsticks, dull knife… the atmosphere was okay but it’s not the place if you are expecting a fine experience given the high price. You also don’t see the cooker which I found weird, and I waited over half an hour to get my plate. The steak itself may be delicious to some but definitely not up to the standards for this price.

Chanced upon this as most restaurants are either fully booked or do not welcome kids. All their beef were A5 grade and they offer a wide selection at various price points. All the dishes we ordered tasted amazing and we left a satisfied customer.

The steak house isn't much to look at but it's spacious and quiet inside in Sannomiya. You can enjoy the KOBE champion beef here. Don't forget to ask for one set of steak knife and fork, the locals are used to using the chopsticks.

Service is very poor, the ruined what was supposed to be a good Kobe beef experience. The bill was served before we even finished the main course.

Food quality was good for the pricing. Wine list pricing was also decent, with wines by the glass well-priced too. The service from the staff was top notched. The staff, especially, Nakajima-san, was well-equipped with the knowledge of what was being served and he was also the restaurant’s sommelier. Nice cosy place to go. A must try if you are ever in Kobe! Cheers!🥂

Beware there’s a small service charge plus tax (which is normal) plus foreign tax 外税 which I had never seen before in Japan. We ordered the mid range set at dinner time It was good but not extraordinary. We ended up spending about ¥5,000 each including rice and vegetables. Seemed overpriced given it was the smallest quantity beef. It was a good experience on the whole except for the extra hidden small charges. They are nowhere to be seen on the menu and nobody told us in advance. This is the main reason why we won’t be back. As a side note I don’t really understand why these Wagyu beef restaurants in Kobe are mostly formal with outdated decor. They all look very similar.

Travelled from Osaka for this bite. We ordered premium sirloin. Price was a bit high but amazing taste.

Me and some friends were looking for a classy Kobe beef restaurant. This place came through and the steaks were top notch. Service was attentive and they even had English menus. Highly recommend if you're into smaller "hole in the wall" type places, but they were still very much high class. Loved this restaurant. If I'm ever in Kobe again, I'm definitely coming back here
