Stayed here for 3 consecutive nights with no issues with breakfast included due to staying here 3 nights. When we extended an additional night they wanted 2k yen per person for breakfast. Needless to say, I won't be coming back nor recommend this hotel to anyone.

This "vintage" hotel has a great location, close to many shops, train station, bar, cafes and restaurants. The room (queen bed) is very spacious, super clean and comfy. Staff is friendly, but not sure if they're English speaking.

Good for touring the ijinkan area, harbor land, herb garden, etc. Avoid room 407, 507, etc. located at the dead-end alley facing the building nearby. Very much disappointed. And extremely annoyed by the constant humming noise in the room.

Very kind staff and courtesy on the hotel . Nice looking entrance and very well located. Very close to a train(JR) station, but in a calmer street. Many restaurants and stores nearby. The hotel itself have Google rooms. A little small bathroom, but equivalent to most of the same category in Japan. The hotel offers in the afternoon complimentary cakes, coffe, tea and juice on its internal "lounge".

Great location with food, shopping and entertainment areas nearby. We could walk to Meriken Park, Kobe Port and earthquakes memorial. Breakfast could get crowded so going down early is advisable. Friendly service and really good value for money. British nuance and Beatles song in the lobby is a nice touch.

When we moved to an upgraded room, it was very nice, clean and spacious. The location was about an 8 minute walk to the main station so it was pretty easy to get around. HOWEVER the first room, which was the least expensive one, had carpet which felt a bit old and the curtains and bathroom seemed a bit old as well. Because of this there was a little bit of a musty smell...

Very accommodating staff. Their rooms are larger than the average hotel room in Japan. Location is accessible via train. Just walk a few minutes and you will find yourself in restaurants, clothes shops, and other stores. A convenient store is available in front for on-the-go or late night needs.

Nice hotel with nice staff. My only problem is that there was no way to change the airconditioning from heat to cool. It was a warmer than average day in spring so they said they would have to change the entire hotel over and they didn't want to do that.

Hotel was fit for purpose. Nothing to exciting. The one annoying thing was that the keys to the room were manual and you had to hand your key into reception every time you left which was a hassle and didn’t feel very secure. Would be good for the hotel to update to digital key card access.
