If you're looking for an alternative supermarket shopping experience that doesn't carry the usual suspects like those found at Jaya Grocer or Village Grocer, then this is the place to be. True to its nature as a Middle Eastern-based retailer, Lulu only sells halal foodstuff. The store does not carry alcoholic beverages, pork-based products or even dog food (only cat food). What i really like about this place is the vast array of spices and food produce from the Middle East and Mediterranean that you can't find in many other places. Place is well organised, very clean and not crowded. Ample parking spaces and reasonable pricing too!

Nice supermarket, it has an almost complete selection of kitchen stuffs. Comfortable to do shopping here, suitable place to bring small kids too. They have many choices of cheese, they also sell middle east sweets. If you love middle east food, they also sell cooked rice , chicken and meats. An ideal place to get your raw and cooked food i would say.

A great shopping experience, big place with wide range of products, price average, but special promotions and price cut off is great, if you're a foreigner, you would find a lot of imported special stuff (especially food) that is not easy to find around in KL... Cheese and cold cut section is an example... As you see the place is new, clean and comfortable to spend hours of shopping there, they also have a variety of ready food and beverage products that you can purchase and have them at a little food-court corner... I had a good time.

Usually drop-by after my visits to the Jalan Jalan Japan store. Expect to find some not so familiar merchandise since the hypermarket chain is owned by Middle Eastern group. Shoppers will find some tantalising sweets and cookies at the bakery section. Grocery and store department aisles are well organised to make it easier for shoppers to find what they need. Worth a visit.

Double check, triple check the amount you're paying. This place operates like scammers.. not once, not twice, but it has been many times that the prices shown are just for display. Cashiers will just brush it off and say that you took the wrong item with a more expensive price. Or that the price is not updated in the system. I had to take photos of the price that states the item was on promotion to get a refund. It just doesn't feel great shopping here.

Worst experience ever in this Lulu Hypermarket One Shamelin, Cheras. Few months back, I have had this bad experience where I was denied entry for wearing my small backpack. This rude security guard (at both entrance) insisted to put on a cable tie at my backpack. How funny was that? All the big & popular hypermarkets/supermarkets such as Aeon and Lotus, will not do that to you, imagine putting a cable tie at every customer's bag? Doesn't matter whether it's a handbag, backpack, tote bag or recycled bag, you name it. What kind of mindset is that? Then what is the point of having security guard and scanners at the exit if you are afraid that customers are stealing your stuffs? I didn't let them do that to my backpack. I asked for store supervisor but instead of them calling the supervisor another security guard came to defend his colleague and insisted if I don't agree to follow their rules, I cannot enter the supermarket. Please do not act like you are a communist. You lock customers' bag and you limit their freedom to access their personal belongings. Oh ya, today I went there again, I just happened to look for McD's, and the fastest way is to pass thru this hypermarket, this time I was wearing my recycle tote bag and again this rude security guard insisted to lock my bag before entering. I ignored him and told him that i just wanna pass thru and not shopping at your hypermarket. You see how demanding they are when locking your bag. I WILL NEVER EVER STEP INTO THIS LULU HYPERMARKET AGAIN. THANKS TO THE MANAGEMENT FOR THE GOOD JOB IN TRAINING YOUR SECURITY GUARDS IN PREVENTING/LIMITING CUSTOMERS TO VISIT YOUR STORE. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK AND I WISH YOU SUCCESS IN YOUR BUSINESS!

First time I’ve been, post pandemic. Not as good as it used to be. Prices have gone up. Frustratingly, many products had no price, and the price checkers were either not there or not working. Wasn’t allowed to use my own shopping bags - they were rolled up and ‘sealed’ with cable ties. This also meant that ‘in theory’ the couldn’t use my own Tupperware for deli items and nuts. I refuse to take their disposable boxes so ‘they sneaked’ my shopping bag as soon as I left the Security guard - such a stupid system … Management clearly haven’t thought this ridiculous process through. Overall, not a pleasant or worthwhile experience - I’ll stick to Lotus’s.

The location of this market is a little bit awkward. For first timer, maybe you guys can be a little bit lost. However, the layout of this market is nice and easy. Every item is put in order. You can try their Arabic sweets.

I was intrigued when I came here for the first time. Despite the opening promotion they were having, and all the Middle East foods selection, the store seemed spacious with a lot of varieties/sections from Sushi, Fish, Bakery, Meat etc.

Design and layout are comfort and spacious to shop. Clothing is not to our taste. Food and others are good. The price is average.

Today I'm disappointed with the food counter! I came around 9.30pm straight to briayani counter. Still got chicken briyani left. But the staff packing it for other staff! I'm waiting there like stupid! Thought the portion is for me. But not! Try to report at the customer service. It didn't help much! So pathethic!

The Shamelin branch is usually not crowded during weekdays. Free parking along the surrounding roads are always occupied. There is a wide variety of products but very limited choices for vegetables. There are few promotional items.

Average supermarket with mostly the same products found in others.. Prices average,.. Guess it's convenient for opening hours, rather a larger choice of products than 7/11.. At a good price. Bought dry fruits n coffee/tea..

The prices here are a bit higher than your usual supermarkets, but they have a good amount of stuff here. Food here is great too. Recommend getting their chicken lasagna if available.

Overall a disappointment experienced for me. The staff looks like not fit to handle customers. Very hectic management. The only good thing is the front guard which is kind enough to point me the entrance and smile. Other guard looks like they just have a fighting with their wife. Please improved your sop regarding handling customer. Train your staff how to give the best service. Waited for almost 15 minute just for supervisor to come for canceling wrong item code for front customer. Somemore, need to go back and forth for warranty stamps. Not just once but thrice. Seems like they are confused who is the one to gave the stamps. The price seems average lean to quite bit expensive. This may be my first and last trip here unless management doing something about it.

A new hypermarket in the klang valley and i believe it's one of four open so far. Beyond a supermarket, for example, you will find white goods for sale here. And a key takeaway for me was the wholesale corner and a money changer. Also had on promotion, a fully imported range of groceries from India. The supermarket range of groceries is as impressive as a tesco or lotus. Prices are comparable. The only drawback is the building - it's very quiet as a lot of shops have closed and the carpark - it's very dark and dingy. And the mall reaks with stale cigarette smoke.

Clean, spacious and ample parking during weekdays. Poultry and meat are well packed and prices are reasonable during pre-festive periods. Good range of electrical products and they have their own transport for delivery. Delivery is done with full information including a call before they arrive👍

Can buy groceries and electrical items here.

It's kind of deserted mall. Although if you're finding essential items this is a good place. The mall does not have branded items so that's a huge downfall. Be sure to go Jalan-Jalan Japan, really good shop.

One of the best places to shop groceries in all Malaysia, especially for Arabic and Middle eastern groceries. Fresh meat and vegetables with excellent price to value.

Huge hypermarket in 1 Shamelin mall LG floor and they sells many home items with many varieties of selections. Besides groceries, they also selling cold food, hot food and even home electrical appliance. You can find many Middle Eastern food and deserts here. Unfortunately you could not find non-halal items here such as alcoholic beverages. Place is well organized and spacious so shopping was pleasant. Price was competitive especially during sales period. Staffs were kind and efficient.

🫤 Reduced to single floor, lost the feeling of 'spacious' which used to be. Crowded like any low standard shopping market, anyway, their standard is all the while not high.
