I met Ron, APRN, and what a guy with regards to bedside manner. He was not able to treat me but said it was against policy in the case of severe alcohol withdrawal. I was OK with his not being willing to prescribe a long acting benzodiazepine and left shaking and emotionally troubled. I just went through his notes and now pissed. He said I reported a bottle of wine a DAY AND IT WAS A BOTTLE OF HARD LIQUOR A DAY. No wonder I was at high risk for Delirium Tremons and he thought I was just a $4 a day wino. I am a $7 a day alky. I detoxed myself over the next 75 hours by drinking small amounts when very shaky and confused. No withdrawal and no ETOH for 48 hours. Ron you could be a great healer but you sent me home to possibly have a seizure and its sequelae by policy you agree with by working under the standards for the pay. Your nurse asked what liquor I drank, and I said all types. She tried to clarify for the record and said, "vodka, jin,..I answered all "40% ETOH or better." She should have understood that but didn't. The real problem is, if Ron knew it was hard liqor and not wine, he still would have sent me home to possibly perish. Ron, step up to the medical community and stop concentrating of bandaids for cuts and a paycheck. Love Dr. Hanson. Thank you for the extended beside service, I mean that. UMC sucks by policy and I was overdosed x4 narcotics after they explained I could NOT have 2 together? MOD please respond to that claim. MAY 8, 2023, BETWEEN 0947 AND 1002.

Updating my old review. Last week I gave this place 2 stars because "doctor" Hansen was rude and inconsiderate with terrible patient handling. But today we took our 2-year-old child to a real doctor, and found out that doctor Hansen also has misdiagnosed our child. After 2-hour wait in the waiting room, $50 co-pay and his rude conversation, because of him, we gave our child antibiotics she didn't need for 4 days. (Pharmacy bill was also $27 with insurance). Of course, the situation with our 2-year-old didn't get any better. So, now I am giving 1 star to the place. I will never bring my children here ever again.

I'd stay far away from this place. I went in to get my prescriptions refilled from the PA. Btw they never informed me my doctor retired. Anyways, didn't know i was watching her pretend to fill them on the computer at the office. She said come back in 6 months. Called the pharmacy said nothing was filled. Called UMC back and they told me I would have to come back in each month to get refills. This never happened before with my Doctor. He gave me multiple months worth. They totally gaslighted me and want to keep billing my insurance. Not only did they neglect to give me important information they lied and twisted what I said. 👎👎

I have been to this facility several times in the past. This particular visit, I neglected to complete the sign in procedure and wasn’t called for checkin. My fault. When I inquired as to why I hadn’t been called, I was told I hadn’t completed the sign in procedure. I was told that it wasn’t uncommon — that people miss the final step. When I gave them my name, the lady said, “oh, there you are. Our system indicates you started the sign in procedure, but didn’t complete it.” So, they knew I had attempted to sign in, they know it’s not uncommon to not complete the sign in procedure, they know that there are people waiting who won’t be called until they, the patient, inquire as to why they haven’t been called. So why don’t they routinely check when they see a name that attempted to sign in but didn’t complete the sign in procedure. I guess that might be considered “thinking outside the box.” Finally, my point to this diatribe is this; if you have to complete a sign in procedure, anywhere, simply do it twice. You can’t do the second one if you don’t complete the first. The reason this is so lengthy is because I had lots of waiting time.

If I could give zero stars I would. Awful staff, incompetent doctors, and all they care about is getting your money. Waste of time. They gave me allergy medicine when I have sores on my tonsils. I call to ask why and not a single person could answer any of my questions. I then ask if I can speak to someone who would know and she just says no. Doesn’t explain herself or anything. Dr. Hansen and his urgent care staff really need to step it up.

I came in feeling awful with symptoms of strep throat. The two ladies doing the registration, Lisa helped me, were so great! Helpful, friendly, attentive, and just great humans! They treated everyone with the same amount of care--from the mom with a kid puking in a bucket to the older lady buckled over in pain. The medical team was also very friendly, thorough, and attentive. Got me the care I needed and got me quickly on the road to recovery! If the need arises, the UMC Peccole Branch will be my first stop! Thank you all!!

Can I give 10 stars? The best care experience I’ve ever had! I went in on a Saturday about 10am. Was seen in about 5 minutes, had by in-house lab results in another 5 (even notified me on my app before the nurse came back in) and had my prescription already sent before I left. All with cheerful, knowledgeable medical professionals. Thank you to NP Mariz, Veronica, Priscilla and Kaspar! I will go nowhere else for my urgent care needs!

I had an allergic reaction and broke out in hives. I came in to get to get some help and was met by Lisa who was very polite, signed in and in a short time was brought in by Priscilla. She was very supportive and her kindess made a big difference. Shortly after, Dr. Yeung came in and he recognized me from treating my years earlier. He was very caring and supportive and I felt like I was in great hands. He was able to find what was needed to help me which put me in a comforting place. Veronica, came in to discharge me and went over all the details and perscpriptions to make sure I had all the info and support needed. Grateful to all of you. You made a difference in my life! Please keep sharing your heart, you all make a big difference in our world.

Just got back from UMC Quick Care - Peccole Ranch. I had been in there Friday morning, but walked out due to the waiting room being entirely full. Tried again today, Sunday, and there were only two other patients waiting! SCORE!!! Everyone working there was super friendly and professional; starting with Denise at check-in, nurse Priscilla and lastly Dr. Yeung. I was prescribed antibiotics for an inflamed/infected uvula that started after being under anesthesia and lidocaine to ease the pain/discomfort. If this clears it all up, I am extremely satisfied with this team and facility.

Being new to the US, dealing with the healthcare system can be challenging. But Lisa at the Peccole Ranch clinic took the time to really help us, going above and beyond to make sure we had a pathway for treatment. It’s this sort of service that makes a huge difference in patient outcomes and we gratefully recommend this clinic.

5 stars for the reception folk up there that were friendly, talkative with us, and very sweet ( a blond women with a little pink in her hair, and then a women with dark short hair - we appreciate you guys ). 1> stars for the doctor that GRABBED my fiancés boil that we came in to get looked at because he PASSED OUT from the pain of it, I had to physically pull the doctors hand away from my fiancé as he screamed for him to stop. I understand needing to “access” the problem and check the boil out, but NO ONE that’s ever checked on it has ever just reached pinched it and not cared that the patient was SCREAMING in pain for them to stop. I find it very frustrating and unsettling that a doctor would come into the room knowing a patient passed out due to pain and they would purposely squeeze and pinch the infected area and not stop when asked to. Then the male nurse I told about the incident told me “he’s the doctor he’s supposed to access it” and yes he is supposed to access it, but not one doctor has every accessed the boil that way and we’ve never had to physically remove their hands from my fiancé. Therefore, I am very aggravated with this interaction. I’m thankful he was given antibiotics and pain medication, but this is the second time we’ve come to this urgent care for this matter and this is the first time we’ve had to deal with this. I’m not sure what doctor was there 5 years ago during our first visit but y’all should get him back. He was MUCH gentler. Doctors name was - Dr. Meneleo Jaojoco, MD.

Terrible doctor (I think Dr. Hansen). If parents bring their 2-year-old to wait 2 hours in the waiting room and see a doctor, it means they are concerned. When they ask you "how you can tell it's not something worse" (no matter how ridiculous it is to you), you could do better than "because it's different. I went to school, and I know" and walk away from the patient. It would be nice as a parent to get a short explanation, so we know what to look for the next time or sleep better in general. We were not making a statement, or questioning the doctor, only asked how "different" it is exactly. Doctor literally waived at me with rude gesture and walked away. That's all we got after a 2 hour wait and $50 co=pay.

I read many of these reviews before posting my own opinions. After twenty minutes past our appointment time for primary care. We approached the front desk and was notified that there's still one more patient before us to see the DR. So we got taken back about 35 minutes past appointment time. Jasmine the medical assistant was great. Good person, caring. Their scale for weighing patients was 34 pounds different then the one we use everyday. Her weight was never rechecked. The experience with Dr.Panner was very poor medical treatment. No bedside manner. Doesn't really care. She never checked the things doctors are supposed to do. Never listened to heart or lungs. No eye, ear, or nose check. Didn't check her feet. Wasn't concerned about the weight my sis added due to pain from her arthritis. This is the sad when a doctor she referred my sister to. She forgot that doctors name three times during the visit. Then instead of updating the referrals for the two doctors my sister sees. She decided she would make us wait until she saw at least one other patient first. So we said we were leaving. We were told that the referrals would be in the patient portal by the time we got home. They weren't. Now we see if they get them in before the weekend. ZERO stars. Would be happy if contacted about this doctor. They did manage to get the information into the patient portal. One last thing and because we don't drive. We tried setting up this appointment as a video visit to save some money. They offer this service but had an excuse why they couldn't schedule it that way.

I am terribly ill with brain fog and a fever over 103. It's required I get a Covid test so I call ahead of time since it's my first time visiting this location and I wanted to make sure to follow any procedures and ask some questions. The lady who answered was incredibly rude and short with me. I hung up and decided to go somewhere else where I'll be treated like a human being. The last thing I need when I'm dealing with a brutal fever is attitude. I saw the reviews on here and that should have been the first warning sign, but I like to give places a chance and judge for myself. It's clear the reviews aren't a mistake.

Very clean. Front desk staff is super friendly. The nurses are all very sweet and caring. They took the time to explain my medications and possibilities of what to expect and if I need to come back. My nurse practitioner even called me on their day off to make sure I was receiving the correct care.

Such a fan!! From beginning to end!! My tooth cracked and my face ended up swelling up. I was in so much pain and didn’t have my insurance card. My dad called I believe it was Lisa was so kind and asked what insures I had. Then she told us to have my ID and she’d help us when we got there. Sure enough Lisa and I want to say Priscilla? (Sorry if I mixed everyone up!!) They we’re dreams!! So kind!! So calm!! And so attentive to not just me, but everyone there!! When I went into the back I believe it was Kasper who helped me with my blood pressure and weight. So kind and worked so fast!! They got me into the back and only a few minutes passed and another nurse came in to give me the HIV test I requested and she was all smiles. I want to say Veronica was the nurse. She helped me feel so at ease because was explaining everything she was doing. I was even given a packet with information and condoms!! Austin Golding was the PA that saw me and he came in shortly after I was finished with my test. He explained to me what they could do for me, how I should go about taking care of my tooth and the antibiotics I’d be picking up and taking. They sent the prescription straight to the Walmart pharmacy near my house. When I left I felt super at ease and went straight to Walmart after. If and when another emergency happens, definitely going to that UMC quick care again!!

Facility offers less than a regular doctor's office as far as capabilities. They have no ability to do bloodwork or ultrasounds. Was prescribed medications that are OTC. They lack skilled staff and diagnostic equipment to treat urgent matters even though they call themselves urgent care. Save the cost of your visit and just go to the ER. ***update*** Improper diagnosis from facility after going to ER. Could have been significant health impacts including death according to ER doc. Forewarned is forearmed.

We are here from out of town for the holidays, unfortunately i got a really bad ear infection and was in a lot of pain, the wait in the waiting room was a little long but the lady who checked me in was so nice and helpful with checking in. Then i was taken back and saw Dr Hansen, he was so understanding and nice. It was refreshing to have a doctor who actually listened to what i had to say and took my pain seriously. Thanks again!

Unfortunately I had to make a visit to the QuickCare today. Front office staff were friendly, nurse who took my vitals was ever so kind and Dr. Nguyen was so thorough. It was a quick visit but so appreciated the kindness given by the staff. Thank you!!

I went to this walk in a couple weeks ago during a weekday morning. The wait was to be expected but the check in process was easy and the front desk worker was so kind! I was seen shortly after checking in. Dr. Yeung did such a great job. Was kind, understanding, listened to all of my concerns, and gave me such amazing medical care! I would highly recommend this location!

UMC deserves 0 stars!! Kristine Plummer is the most unprofessional nurse I've ever met. Failed to diagnose me after seeing her.. My condition worsened immensly throughout that waiting period. I'm going to be contacting a lawyer regarding this entire situation. Since Nurse Plummer doesn't want to contact me after 5+ DAYS of waiting for a phone call from her. She's also a LIAR who doesn't care about her patients. All she cares about is the almighty dollar ! I've never come in contact with someone who is in the medical field that truly could care less whether or not you are in serious need of help. She will make sure to have you tested for medical issues that you don't even have in order to make more money off of you. Nurse Plummer doesn't abide by the nurse code of ethics whatsoever. Nurse Plummer doesn't have any business working in the medical field at all. Please take every negative review you read to heart. Avoid this place & Nurse Plummer like the plague. No one at UMC is there to help you. Just to take your money & dissappear under the guise of always being with a "patient."

This is the best doctor's office experience I have ever had. I see Dr. Panaar for my primary care, and I frequent the quickcare area for day-of issues. I have never had to wait longer than 30 minutes to be seen after walking in, and they have great wi-fi so I usually just work while waiting. Denise G., Veronica, Priscilla, Jackie and Dr. Yeung are just amazing. They are kind and offer excellent service and care.

Please don’t go to any urgent care if you are seriously hurt or fell. First I was in level ten pain and told the nurse at checkin. After an hour of waiting I had to ask for pain medicine. They finally gave me pain medicine and anti-nauseous medicine. My body was going into shock. Then the X-ray tech came to get me before my pain medication was fully in my system. I was screaming in pain while getting my X-ray. She told me to hold my leg straight and still. My leg was shaking in excruciating pain. The doctor told me I didn’t break my leg. I was told I have torn muscles. Not a broken leg. They sent me home with ibuprofen and told me to call desert orthopedic if I wasn’t better in a couple weeks. I knew something wasn’t right so I called desert orthopedics first thing and thankfully got a same day appointment. The orthopedic doctor said there was a shadow on my X-ray and was concerned I was a break. After getting more/better X-rays I was told I have several breaks in my leg and knee. I was given a brace and stronger pain medicine. The urgent care doctor called me two days later to apologize saying the radiology report showed a break! He even said if I went to the ER I would have been told the same thing! Urgent care should only be for colds and flus. The hardest lesson I’ve ever learned!
