Great hotel and the team were very friendly, helpful and inviting. Good location just far enough from the busy areas to be peaceful. Onsite parking (charge). Bar and restaurant a welcome bonus - food and drink exceeded expectation. A 15 minute walk into the centre of the old town and the Cathedral. We were fortunate to catch one of the last few days of "La Nuit Des Chimeres", the amazing light/art show projected onto historical buildings - stunning.

I enjoy staying at this hotel. Good and clean rooms. Parking (outside) is good laid out and safe with big gate. The breakfast is excellent. Most of the staff speaks English, all are friendly and helpful. One missing star: 2 of 2 nights my key card was deleted (also of some of my co travelers)

Nice hotel and location. Stopped on our way home to the UK to break our journey by motorbike. Staff were very welcoming and friendly. Only 1 tiny issue, nowhere to hang wet towels properly as they were still damp in morning. Breakfast was great quality. Will return if passing that way again.

We booked this hotel to break the journey from The Dordogne. The room was dated, the bathroom had not been cleaned properly the bed was uncomfortable and the room had a stale smell, we were also informed that the restaurant was only serving a barbecue the first night and on the Saturday the restaurant was not open at all. We have never stayed in a hotel in the centre of a city where the restaurant was not open on a Saturday evening. Overall a very disappointing stay. We should have stayed 2 nights but checked out after one.

Very dissapointing. Advertised as four star and clearly not. On arrival we were told the restaurant and bar were now permanently closed and only a basic breakfast was available for us. Worse was to come when we moved to our room, old, shabby and worst of all dirty. We found toenail clippins on the carpet and hairs in the shower. Dust was prevelant throughout the hotel. The staff were basically indifferent to our complaints and clearly used to hearing unhappy guests. Do not book this hotel, we checked out early after only one night and would not return.

The hotel was created out of a large insurance company office. The common spaces are well done, but the rooms are pretty basic. The online photos make them seem better than they are. That said the staff is amazing and the bar was a fun place to hang out. Parking lot connects to the lobby. Very convenient.

Lovely hotel in the heart of the city. Amazing service from Lorie on reception, who could t do enough to make sure my group was happy.

Friendly staff and simple but good breakfast. On the other hand my room was quite low quality, bed and pillows are very average, 2 mattress zipped together for a queen size, windows does not close well, room door does not close well, shower head needs some cleaning, light switch are super vintages and elevator seems it is going to need servicing soon. Also my room key got deprogrammed 2 times in 3 nights.

We booked the Mercure last minute on a drive from the Uk to Spain and it was the perfect stop. We were well looked after by Aurelie at reception and nothing was too much trouble for her. The restaurant was closed at the time we visited but the hotel location was perfect for exploring the local area and there’s lots of lovely places to eat. Breakfast was lovely, option of cooked and continental. Great hotel with exceptional service.

The cleaning ladies stole my Sony camera, Louis Vuitton belt and other accesories of my laptop. I checked everywhere, I had them in my room. There is no other place I left them. Very, very dissapointed because nobody would admit it. If you go to this hotel, keep the important stuff with you.

Very nice hotel. Entrance is very nice. Some parking in the rear, but not much. Nice rooms. Bed was comfortable. Has a lift. Really close to town. 10 minute walk from train station.

Nice hotel, good rooms and comfy beds. Fabulous reception staff, so friendly. Location OK, but as my wife has mobility issues she found the walk uphill to the centre difficult.

Old classic building. The gym is only 3 cardio machines and no free weights. Rooms were clean, but smelled a bit. Very comfortable bed. Breakfast was Ok, but lacked vegetables. Friendly staff.

Tried calling to book a room and ask questions about parking with this location and was put on hold several times and eventually asked if I held a membership to AccorHotels, I should just book it online myself. Unfortunately, as I was in transit on my way to Le Mans I could not make the reservation, so I had to pull over to accommodate myself. When we arrived to the hotel, I confronted the receptionist I spoke to and recieved a very indifferent apology. After checking in late we quickly proceeded to the restaurant. To our surprise all the glasses on our table were hazy, cloudy, so I cleaned them with the cloth napkins. Our water karafe was worse. Being very tired and hungry we ordered a cod fish with rice dish. We recieved a small piece of cod and salmon in each order. When asked why we recieved salmon in our dish, the waiter responded that is how it is served. Strangely however, it was not in the Menu description. We suspect, they ran out of cod and decided to add salmon to the small piece of cod. The good news, the rooms are modern, quiet and clean. Shower, bathroom is spacious (no bidet), well lit and have a full size blow dryer. Decorated nicely, the rooms are very comfortable with extra pillows in the closet. Rooms are equipped with an electric water kettle and instant coffee and tea. Soundproof rooms with quiet air conditioning units, comfy beds, pillows and linens make sleeping very comfortable. Lastly, three or four English language news channels provided. The hotel has two secured parking lots.
