Food and beverages were excellent! The service was very good. The staff was very polite and helpful. The gardens were beautiful. Swimming in the sea and diving were extraordinary. Entertaining team was outstanding. We had a very nice staying at this hotel. We will come again.

It was a perfect holiday for us! The hotel resort is wonderful, with a great entertainment programme, disco and amenities. The staff were all very very friendly and careful and they make sure everything is perfect during the entire stay. The hotel organizes its own tours that are convenient and one has to try them! We went snorkeling and on a quad tour in the desert organized from the hotel agency . The promotion team are working on the beach and we booked directly the first day. It was extremely well organized to the smallest detail and we’ve had a lot of fun. Definitely worth going!! Would recommend 100%, and we are planning to come again soon. Special thanks and greetings to the entire hotel staff. They made our stay even more special.

I stayed 2 times in this resort. Once in April and once in May. The resort has everything you need. Very beautiful place with so much to do. The staff is really friendly. The vibes are suitable for families. The only disadvantages are: - food is not tasty - check in process is very slow and complicated. I highly recommend this resort.

Perfect, with a lot of food varieties ,you can eat at any time at day. drawing rooms for kids are closed. swimming pools are good with professional pool guards ,but they close the pool too many times at the day for maintenance as they said .small aqua park with no sun beds and no umbrellas which is bad from my point of view .they should pay more attention for the aqua park. rooms are perfect as well clean and tidy .the beach is awesome with fascinated view and lovely restaurant ( la vista )and there is an amazing show after dinner you will enjoy it ,totally is perfect .it is a place you will really have fun .I recommend it for families .

Very generous amount of food, decent stuff, always smiling. They always want to make sure that we are happy and enjoying. The hotel have plenty of restaurants with different variety of food that is very delicious. There are oriental options and international cuisines aswell. Seafood restaurant is beyond amazing!! The beach is is superb. Activities are also very entertaining, you will never get bored with the night shows.

The food is very tasty, in all restaurants. People are very kind. The animation team is always with very good vibes. The only thing I would like to highly recommend is to stop using plastic/styrofoam utensils. Snacks can be delivered in cardboard trays, drinks with paper straws or without straws at all, water can be served in glass cups in the bars or in reusable cups. If you really care about the see, you can change that.

German customers are difficult and picky, all the better if you have great expectations and then exceed them. As a German, I recommend the Desert Rose Resort... All inclusive, staff is super helpful and attentive at all corners and their slogan "Happiness included" fully applies. We were traveling with a child, but I can recommend it for couples and families.

The hotel is good and the scenes are pretty, But the rooms are old in style and amenities, We've paid for upgrade to ultra all inclusive but got only very few amenities in mini bar despite we were 4 persons, the a la carte restaurants are excellent but not all of them are accepting bookings

The staff are lovely..really friendly and helpful. I am an older, female solo traveller and I never felt unsafe or insecure. Food is excellent and facilities fantastic. Private beach, olympic size pools plus two other pools and a water park. Gardens are amazing and beautifully kept. I split my stay with a Nile cruise in the break, so this comment relates to stay 1. The room was a good size. It had twin beds and the mattress on the one I slept in was like concrete. The foam pillows were overstuffed and I really struggled to sleep properly. There was no hot water in the bathroom-barely managed tepid. The staff kept it really clean but it felt a bit tired and battered and it must have made their lives more difficult. There are improvements taking place at the moment but it had no adverse impact on my stay. Security is very good. Notwithstanding the bed, which is subjective anyway, I recommend Desert Rose.

It was an amazing resort my only issue was the shop on the resort over charging us sometime other than that the staff are amazing and was brilliant with our young daughter keeping her entertained and amused. The only reason I have put the location down is because everything is a taxi away and taxi driver are hard to trust if you do go I'd recommend ask for sebery the taxi driver could I highly recommend him he made our holiday

Went there with my friends and it had to be one of my favourite vacations Would definitely recommend if you just want to relax and stay in a nice resort. It has a lot of activities as well and the rooms were super nice and clean.

Really good service. Everyone always helps you and pays attention to you. Workers are always smiley. The food is great and really tasty. You can always find something to eat even if you're a picky eater)))

It is a beautiful arranged Hotel-Area with many grass areas and colorful flower-arrangements. The Pool areas and the beach are nice and clean. Our room was good too. The housekeeping was remarkable. The personal in general was very kind and costumer-friendly. Bars and Activities delivered a variety of options to spend our time. The food was very diverse with a nice local touch. We will come back.

The Good: Friendly and Polite Staff: Most of the staff were incredibly welcoming, always greeting with a smile and going out of their way to ensure a pleasant stay. Their friendliness added a warm, personal touch to the experience. Excellent Activities and Shows: The array of activities and entertainment options was impressive. From lively shows to engaging activities, there was always something fun to do, keeping us entertained throughout our stay. Nice Bars: The bars were great spots to unwind. The ambiance, variety of drinks, and the service were all top-notch, making each visit enjoyable. The Bad: Guest Relations Staff: Ironically, the guest relations staff were not as accommodating or friendly as the rest of the team. Their lack of cooperation and warmth was starkly contrasting and somewhat disappointing. Limited Food Choices for Vegetarians: As a vegetarian, the dining options felt restrictive. The same dishes were rotated daily, which quickly became monotonous. More variety and creativity in the vegetarian menu would be greatly appreciated. Overcrowded Dining Areas: Finding a place to eat during peak times was often a struggle. The rush made meals feel hectic rather than relaxing, detracting from the dining experience. Run-Down Rooms: The rooms, while functional, urgently need an update. They appeared worn and outdated, which was a letdown considering the overall ambiance of the place.

Overall, everything was wonderful. The staff was friendly and always ready to help. The grounds were incredible, the rooms were excellent, the food was delicious, and there were plenty of entertainment options and relaxation spots. The employees were always accommodating, answering all questions and helping resolve any issues. I would gladly return again! On the downside, the service level at the spa was poor, and on the day of departure, nobody informed us about the transfer timing. Additionally, we were not provided with food to take to the airport, and the main restaurant refused to pack it for us. I haven't seen this kind of service even in hotels with fewer stars. However, this did not significantly impact the overall impression, hence leaving a 5-star rating!

Nice hotel with a great location. Great atmosphere and service. The room we had wasn't so good but we didn't spend much time in it anyway. All hotel territory is well decorated with flowers and green. Beautiful place. Lagoon is great place too, calm waters and some little fish. There's a little reef just on the other side of lagoon where you can do some diving only for $25. J

The resort is amazing. The staff are extremely courteous and helpful and always serve the customers with a smile on their face. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would like to mention specially about the Food & Beverage Manager- Ahmed Abd El Hamid who went above and beyond his duties to provide me with some things that I needed for a religious purpose.

+Very very nice and courteous staff +Everything is very clean and orderly +We liked the new tip policy (The waitress is not allowed to accept tips personally, but must put them in a cash register per every bar/restaurant). The system means that all guests are treated equally and the service is not intrusive. So people are happy to give tips voluntarily. We hope that it actually ends up with the staff +Very good room service +Very nice garden and plants +Very good customer service. Complaints are taken seriously -Not enough staff at the bars in the evening. You often have to wait a long time, even if you queue up -Too many vendors on the beach. sometimes someone comes every 5 minutes. You can't relax like that -Little variety at the Palm buffet. It's always a themed evening, but at the end of the day it's always the same food. The other restaurants except the Palm are always fully booked, so we were never able to eat there Overall, we really enjoyed our vacation and would recommend the Desert Rose. What we liked best were the many bars and the landscaped bay

The hotel room is somewhat dated and could use a bit of cleaning. The air conditioning system is older and doesn't cool as efficiently. The quality of the food is merely average. Unfortunately, the lack of Wi-Fi in the rooms is a significant drawback, particularly for those needing to work during their stay. The TV is smaller than expected and I can’t find power outlet that I can actually use. As such, I find it difficult to recommend this hotel.

The experience here is just amazing, everyone should come visit and this is why: The food here is amazing, everything is delicious and really tastes like it’s made with love, I mean you can’t try something and say that it doesn’t taste good, every single thing they offer is delicious. The staff is super friendly, everyone is nice and has a big heart. Everyone does their best to make you feel at home, happy and comfortable on your vacation. The staff is vary quick and well organized and they made us feel free to ask for anything that we needed. Everyone is super professional but they still made us feel like they are friends and not staff, which made our vacation even more enjoyable. The overall place is very well decorated and makes you just want to sit there and enjoy the view .

First time in Egypt, Desert Rose Staff and the hotel itself gave us one of the most wonderful experiences we could of ever hoped for. The staff were very polite and professional, always there to help and see to your every need and desire. We felt pampered!!! Price's are very reasonable for the accommodation and the room's very decent size! All and all a wonderful holiday experience! Will definitely come again!

Desert rose is just an amazing hotel and we are so happy with our choice! ♡ ●The food was delicious and well flavoured. ●The hotel's bars are nice places - with modern design and cool music. Bella Vista was my favorite! ●The gardens are so beautiful - green grass, palms, colorful flowers.The gardeners work hard to maintain this beauty! ●We booked a standard room. A disadvantage was that there wasn't internet in the room but everything else was fine. The room was spacious, with big bathroom and nice balcony. ●The beach area is spacious. There is enough space between sunbeds. If you are animal lover there is another alternative for fun - a camel ride on the beach. The camel's name is Casanova - he is such a lovely animal. I absolutely recommend Desert Rose Resort for your vacation!

The resort is beautiful and very very big. The room is a little old but the bed is still good. Service from the staff is good. Food is good but breakfast is the same everyday and could use more protien choices for breakfast. Would recommend anyone to come for some r&r time.

Extra good food and timing for eating. Nice beach and good staff, except of some barman. Overall, considering price/quality portion this is best hotel/resort in Egypt I have ever been.

This is like my seventh time coming to desert rose so I’m generally accustomed to everything around here but this year was exceptional thanks to the bartenders by the pool, especially Thomas Safwat who was always greeting us with a smile and made us feel welcome our entire stay. (He makes great drinks too). Overall the resort has many amenities to offer, there’s always a good range of food at the restaurant and activities going on at the beach throughout the day and music playing through the night.

One of our best stays in hotels ever , all staff were so kind and really understand the meaning of hospitality , from the first person we met at the reception Mr.Mohamed who helped us to upgrade our room with a beautiful view to beach. the food was amazing and the chefs were really welcoming from them also thanks for the clean of room and hotel. We loved the entertainment team and the night shows which made our stay very joyful. Thanks for Mr. Arafaat and Mr. Romany who were more than helpful, friendly and made our stay amazing. Really enjoyed the service and our stay at the Desert Rose we definitely will come back.

Resort is spacious, green, very, very calming and relaxing. Rooms are clean and wide. Animation team made the best impression. Joyful, smiling, productive. Beach was perfect, clean, not packed. Pools were very well cleaned. Bars - very entertaining and fun. Overall a place to stay and not feel disappointed.

It was such an amazing experiment, Staff were very cheerful and nice. Service also, was more than good. Food and beverage were excellent and available all time and with variety. Animation team is really energetic. It was my first time and I intend to not be my last 😊

The facilities are great. You can stay at the lively fun poolside or Swim full lengths at another pool.. swim in a beautiful beach or walk to a secluded seaside area.. lots of places to enjoy in the evening. Free drinks everywhere.. lots of very good food and most importantly really helpful staff who very clearly take pride in doing whatever they do with heart .. asking several of them, they all answered the same.. this us our home. We treat guests here as we treat them at our home. Real hats off to the management team for creating this spirit . I would definitely come again.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Nice rooms and very nice facilities. Staff have gone above and beyond to ensure we are enjoying our stay. They would greet us with a nice smile. Highly recommended especially if you have kids too and for the price paid, good value for money.
