This is a beautiful property and the staff are friendly and courteous. We have stayed here before and the rooms are clean easily accessible. Upon arrival this time we were notified that they had a "full house" and we were being bumped to another room. We had no idea how much more this room would be until we opened the door and found an entire apartment. This was in no way a loss on our part. We will definitely request this type again as it made our stay so much more relaxed and enjoyable. Every day the front desk woman would ask if we needed anything - so sweet. In our haste to leave early for our long journey home we forgo to leave something for the cleaning staff. We immediately dropped something in the mail. We received a wonderful thank you note and can't say enough about this place. PLUS the views are amazing from anywhere on the property. Highly Recommend !! Kudos to the owner and staff.

This is the perfect lodging for the Hunter/ Fisherman or woman. I had a clean and comfortable efficiency, and the rates were very reasonable . What a beautiful location right on the St. Lawrence River. Massena is about a 10 minute drive for groceries, fuel and other supplies. Check out Morley’s American Grill in Town. Great Burgers and beer selection, and the price was very reasonable. Thanks Lakeview for a great stay. BTW, the fishing in this area is amazing. Three days of catching until my arms were sore. I’ll be back .

Short notice. And they had the room available that we requested! Perfect for a family to relax in between activities. Full kitchen is perfect for nights when you want to stay in. Love this place!

My husband and I stayed for couple of months. And let me tell you, the sunsets on the St. Lawrence river were spectacular evey night. We enjoyed watching the ships go by. The motel itself was tidy and cute. They have a kitchen which is important to us. The owners and Kat are very friendly. The lawn is always kept up nice and the area seems to be safe and very quiet. Its only an hour away from Alexandria Bay and less than 2 hours from Lake Placid. They have a nice walking path right across the street from the motel and the locks are about 10 mins away which is something I recommend seeing. All and all this is the place to stay if you go to Massena New York. All these pictures were taken right across the street from the motel.

We were given an upgrade upon arrival due to a mix up with booking. The apartment upgrade was fantastic! It was spacious, clean and comfortable. Being November, we weren't able to fully utilize the outdoor area which has barbecues as well as a private duck pond, perfect for relaxing with a morning coffee. As if this view wasn't enough, right across the road is the St. Lawrence Seaway! Definitely recommend this place to stay if you are in the area!

Again, very happy with my accommodations. Hotelier and housekeeping staff are very friendly and do a great job. Quiet and clean. Love the proximity to the St. Lawrence River! Looking forward to my next stay!

Very nice. It was clean, comfortable and quiet. I was a fairly late check-in (10pm) and the staff called to ensure I was ok because I hadn’t arrived yet. She was very gracious with directions and suggestions and just the right amount of friendly and welcoming. This is a good choice for a longer trip or a family, my room was an efficiency accommodation. A nice place if you do not prefer the “chain experience”.

This was my second extended stay at Lakeview and again I’m not disappointed. This truly is a home away from home. The room had everything I needed to feel comfortable. I encourage you to give them a try.
