We were walking all day at Kentucky kingdom and needed a place to stay. Hotel was around 90 dollars with a whopping 40 dollars extra. We go in the office and they gave us cards. Then we go to the room and the TV isn't connected to any cable and it's in Spanish the woman from the office said they were remodeling and maintenance didn't buy a wire long enough to connect to the wall to get cable. So we switched rooms. We pack up and go to our new room and this room was FILLED with laundry on the bed, laundry hampers and lamps everywhere. We go back down carrying our luggage and tell them that's their storage room or someone is living in it. They give us another room in a different building upstairs. The whole time we had an audience of people clearly living there feeding cats and walking their dog. We go to the new new room and step in. I noticed that it's very dusty on the floor and some of the new construction parts like sawdust and particles were still on the sink counter and all in the bathroom was debris. I call and tell them we just got this room and it's filthy. The woman who answered said she doesn't know what to tell me and she's not switching our room again she said someone will come in and sweep. We both have been tired and I take a quick shower then my brother does. No one shows up. I put water on the floor and wiped up the caked dirt with my towel. See pic. Towel was used both sides. We had to still wear shoes until we got in bed which had cigarette burns in the warm layer of blankets. I was completely shocked that Wyndham and days inn put their name on this place. I brought my sound machine so we didn't listen to airplanes all night and I'm glad I did. Microwave and fridge worked thank God. The morning we went to the complimentary breakfast and the floor was so sticky. I took cereal and a muffin w coffee. We checked out and I am so surprised they have business. Please spend your money elsewhere I have never had such a horrible experience at a hotel before

I stayed here with my family first time... and it was horrible from the start. We get to our room and the toliet is completely broken phone is broke. Fridge was disgusting and had food in it. The water sprayed everywhere...and cigarette holes in the bed. I asked for a new room with working everything. I was moved to another room that worked except for the water and someone was trying to break In. Tried to get money back.. and left the hotel for a better one.. the workers also wasn't friendly... Never again

Unless you are okay with cigarette burns all over the blankets, furniture, and carpet, and stains on the carpet, furniture, and sheets, in a “non smoking” room, you do not want to stay here! My dad and I decided we would rather sleep in the car than in our room. Luckily we were able to get our money back after making multiple calls that the employee behind the front desk ended up answering, after she told us we would have to call whatever company we booked through, which I tried telling her was directly from the days inn website. The positive reviews I was reading must have been from years ago…

This hotel should be taken down. 90% of the people there live there hanging in the parking lot drinking smoking, making propositions to others. Verbal and physical fight took place right outside my door between two women. We literally stayed in this hotel for two hours and decided to get back on the road after five hours. That’s how bad it was I went to the desk told them what was going on they didn’t offer to move me or anything and when I asked for corporate‘s phone number they laughed and said don’t bother they won’t give you a refund. The room was disgusting. We walked in and there is this huge what look like a wet spot in the center of the bed it was dry. There was a blood spot on the end of the bed. We wouldn’t even walk into the bathroom, it was horrible

I stayed there September 27,2023. The place is dirty, rooms were not clean. Bathroom shower was falling apart, sheets were stained, floor was dirty, bathroom mirror had debris all over it and a dried you ginder was on shower wall. Terrible stay! I had to switch rooms because of the filth. My new room wasn't much better. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE! The manager/ (Shah) is his last name should be held accountable for this snake pit. I WILL NEVER STAY AT A DAYS INN AGAIN!

In a word: rough. The desk clerk at check in was unpleasant and the one at checkout was downright surly. Both were incredibly slow. Multiple trips back to the office because the keys wouldn't work. Apparently they needed a vigorous scrubbing with a paper towel and what I believe was window cleaner to work properly. The property is old, shabby, and in need of serious repair. There are a number of long-term residents as well who can be seen grilling in the parking lot or loading their 5 dogs into the car. It was a spectacle to say the least. I'm a decent sized guy and did NOT feel very safe after dark. The rooms reflected the exterior - dirty, shabby, etc. The sheets had multiple cigarette burns in them (non smoking room), the counter for the microwave had crumbs from the previous guest, the outside of the fridge did as well, and there was mold/mildew on the ceiling of the bathroom. A reasonably timed shower resulted in 4-6 inches of water in the tub as the drain couldn't keep up. Dirt and grime in the corners of pretty much everywhere. "Breakfast" was included and was a carb-fest with a couple pieces of fruit and some very suspicious yogurt cups bey9nd the waffles and sugar frosted coco bombs offered. I felt safer running my cholesterol up at the neighboring Waffle House. Save your money, listen to your sense of self-preservation, and stay elsewhere. There are two very nice options a block or so down and across the street.

We were traveling back through going to Kentucky Kingdom on our way home, it was miserably hot so we decided to stay in a hotel for the two nights we were going to be there instead of camping like we had been. Contacted Days Inn on Wednesday night reserved a room for Thursday and Friday night (got charged on Thursday for said room). Get to the hotel and they can't find our reservation, the guy behind the counter (rude and had an attitude) told us to call 800-daysinn to see if they could figure it out, talked to the lady at the 800 number (she was nice and polite very helpful), found our reservation and said that whomever had taken our reservation had put it for Wednesday and Thursday night instead of Thursday and Friday and it had already been cancelled; she said we'd have to go back in and let them know and they should be able to help us then. Went back in and the guy told my husband that yeah he'd found our reservation, it was for last night and had already been cancelled when my husband told him that we still wanted said room we were told a different price and that if we wanted the price we were charged we'd have to call 800 number again. Called 800 again, spoke with a gentleman this time (started out polite ended rude) and he told us that we'd have to talk to a manager at the hotel because they couldn't do anything on their end it would have to be at the hotel level. We went back in asked for a manager was told there was not a manager there, asked if there was a number for the manager that we could call was told no, asked for our money back was told "oh, she refunded your money back already when we found your reservation". Now, I could be wrong with it being a hotel, but isn't it the responsibility of a manager to refund money? Was just informed by my husband that when he went in the first time there was two people, the gentleman that we spoke to and the lady that refunded the money as well as a lady laying on the floor asleep. Thankfully we found another hotel and can continue our plans.

The room wasn't as clean as it should have been. Upon entering the room, there were gnats and flies. There was water on the bathroom floor possibly from them so-call cleaning the bathroom. Only one chair in the room. Just your average low budget hotel trying to be like the other luxurious hotels. The bath tub was very slippery. No hot breakfast, only continental breakfast. Example: bagels, small boxes of cereal, donuts and coffee. There was no coffee in the room. Make sure that you don't smoke in the room. If you do, they will not give you back your $75 deposit.

Decent hotel, nice folks though. Rooms have been "remodeled". You be the judge. It's clean and close to Preston Highway. The cost is less the half the cost of Holiday Inn, and the closeness to the airport makes for a rough night trying to sleep.

The location of this hotel is pretty good for where we needed to be but thats all it had going for it. There was constant fighting and people standing outside our room. The stairways abd parking lot was dirty. Our bedding had burn holes and stains we asked to have changed while we were out it didn't happen. I literally thought people were coming through my wall. We could see through the door. We ended our stay there 2 days early, we should of looked elsewhere when we came back snd our bedding was not changed.

Absolute joke of a hotel. Being a motel I dont expect the Taj Mahal. At the very bare minimum I do expect there to be some sort of cleanliness. Black mold in the bathrooms. Shower/tub had either a crime scene or construction mess.

I stayed here for almost a month while recovering from work and looking to move to the area. The place is being renovated. The staff was helpful. The owner was understanding. I'd stay here again.

This place is a flop house disguised as a reputable hotel. Not the worst place I’ve ever stayed but it’s in the bottom 5

The young Indian guy on the front desk was very nice and friendly. The room was clean and the service was superb. I strongly recommend this motel to each and every person. I will stay here again. Thank you young man. God Bless.

Decent room on the second floor. This place deserves new bedding and tile in the bathroom. The front desk was helpful with everything. Breakfast was pleasant. I wish there was a sidewalk on this side of the road. There were plenty of food options nearby.

Everything was great except for mantanice and housekeeper waking me up before check out time. Room was clean and bug free. I will be back again. Tammy at the front desk was nice and personable.

We stayed in room 245 the last 3 nights... room was cleaned 1st night ... no toilet paper left... we called and were told that if it was a big deal to come to the office .....2nd night nothing was cleaned again no toilet paper left. Called again .... finally some 6 year old girls delivered brought some up. The Shower faucet is weird and hard to control both in turning it on and temperature to prevent being scalded. ...the shower wall iis also nstalled upside down so you can't use the shelves ..... This doesn't even speak to the hookers on the 2nd floor of the main bldg dressed in negligees waving at people during the recent UAW rally. We'd like a partial refund Update: making an apology for making me waste my time to tell you about issues that are widely known (see other reviews) will not be enuf. I will be monitoring feedback and providing public updates on my request of a partial refund until taken seriously

The only reason for not getting a 5star was floors in the room were cold and dirt tracked in when you came back in. Heater controls were hard to keep adjusted. Room was clean bed comfortable. It was quite dated but great for the time we were there.

My room was nice, but the location is in the ghetto, atleast it seems that way. One lady 2 doors down overdosed lastnight, and homeless people sleeping beside the building.

I am horribly disappointed in our stay here. I know our reservation was made last-minute the day before, but with fees it was $179. You would think the place would be decent, but no, no, no. Dirty and stained walls. Dust-bunnies all over. A big wad of hair on the bathtub drain. Surfaces filthy. Bed sheets were dirty. I took a shower and walked 5 feet to the bed, and the bottom of my feet were filthy. Would I stay again for $29? Maybe. For $179? Nope! And by the way...I RARELY give one-star reviews, but I feel like I have to warn people.

Everything you need at a great price. Rooms neat and clean. Nice stay, staff is fantastic and owners are helpful and very friendly. Highly recommend to anyone. Easy access to the city. On a bus line if needed. Asian pot and restaurants in walking distance.

The posted pictures do not show the poor quality this hotel is in, inside and out. Heaters were loud with thermostats that worked part of the time. The guy working the desk 3rd shift walked around in his socks and never came to check my room even though I had to go see him a few times when my kids and I checked in at 230am because of the heater.

I travel 5 days a week. My company’s regular motels were booked. This was only available room. I have never reviewed another motel. 1st room was smoked in and lots of debris . Extremely dirty. Second room not real clean and was very noisy. Extremely threadbare and you are not safe here. I am stunned days inn will allow their name on this place. You cannot trust the days inn logo.

Rooms were fine. Not the nicest for the chain but I didn't have any issues either. I really don't like when a motel charges a deposit but it was credited back soon after I checked out, so it all worked out. Looks like they are updating rooms. Oct 22. Would stay again.

You get what you pay for. All of these one star reviews are talking about this place like they were expecting a 5-star stay. You won't get that here and that's exactly what we were looking for. We needed somewhere cheap for a night and that's what we got. It's gonna smell like pot and cigarettes; it's gonna have chipped paint; it's gonna have a limited breakfast; and it's gonna have imperfect blankets. As long as it doesn't have bugs, most of these one star reviews are being too pretentious with this place. The woman working the front desk was so sweet, the TV was big with many channels, the bed was comfortable, and there weren't bugs. What else could you possibly ask for in a cheap hotel? Overall, we enjoyed our stay and if you're looking for a place that'll get you in quick when you need it, then this place will take care of you.

i would give this zero stars if i could. i called them this time last week to reserve a room with TWO double beds. we get here after driving ten hours, they gave us key cards that don’t work. after fixing it we get into our room and we only have one bed for THREE people. i call the front desk, and they don’t ask for a room number, name, card or anything and they just say “this is what your reservation is down for” i’m 20 weeks pregnant and we have to decide who gets to sleep on the floor now because they won’t move our rooms nor give us a refund. never staying at another days inn again

A hotel that needs some serious TLC. The best part was the AC worked well, however, we found a few bugs. The blankets have cigarette holes that accompany the smell of them as well. It's a reasonable hotel but I didn't even want to sit in it for long, thankfully only for one night. Edit: we were towing a vehicle behind a U-Haul, which then had gas STOLEN from it with a lovely hole punched into the tank ...sometime in the middle of the night. Signs posted all over parking lot about "parking at own risk" so management is aware of their obvious issues! But I doubt any action has or will be taken.

Please, spend a little extra money and go somewhere else. I regret taking my family here and spending the night. We should have demanded a refund a left but my kids were so tired. I should have read reviews before going. Reading them now a majority of reviews mirror my experience. Terrible smell, there are signs that say no smoking all over the office and our room reeked of pot and cigarettes even though it was a “non smoking room” room 149 to be exact. We turned on the AC hoping it would help but it never got and colder or easier to broth. The entire room was dirty. We felt the sticky floor and kept our socks on. In the morning we saw the stains all over the chairs, dirt, dust and mold everywhere. We found bugs in the room in the morning when my husband decided to brave going to breakfast. He came back to report there was 1 orange, some cereal, stale muffins and waffle you could make and then he found bugs. We were running for the door in the morning. Staying in there the entire night made me sick, Im not kidding as soon as we got a mile or so down the road I had to throw up I was so disgusted. Reading reviews now I see a lot of these issues were addressed by other guest and management responded saying it would be fixed and that obviously did not happen. So please, spend a little money and go somewhere else unless it is an emergency and you have no other choice. I am shocked this place is open and allowed to operate.

This hotel was by far the worst hotel I’ve ever been in. We were only there for ten minutes before getting a refund and going elsewhere. As soon as you opened the door you were suffocated by the smell of nicotine. The walls and doors have holes in them. The tub has black marks all throughout it. The base of the bed where the last bit of the linen reside were TONS of mold and dust. The bed sheets had burns all on them and stains. Cigarette burn marks on all the surfaces. I didn’t even want to drop my bag on the bed of this place. This place is ONLY for emergencies (let’s say trapped in a snow storm or something) or if you want to make some quick money with the truckers. That’s about it. The only “good” thing about this place was that the older woman behind the counter was so friendly and understanding and helped us promptly. She should work somewhere better than this. She deserves it.

This stay has been incredibly disappointing, to say the least. The customer service wasn't great to begin with. When checked in, I found my room to be phenomenally disgusting. Carpet stains (black and chalky), horrible odor, ceiling tiles busted, cigarette burns and stains in the sheets, a yellow pee stained mattress, and bug bites when I woke up. To top it all off, I fell out of the shower due to no traction pads and the odd shape of the floor. When I reported it to the clerk, she didn't even ask if I was injured, which I am. She said she would let someone know. I am very disappointed by this. I spend nearly every weekend in a hotel. I typically enjoy Wyndham Hotels as they hold their franchisees to a decent standard. This situation makes me think I should look into other options. I would like for someone to contact me and rectify this situation. I also have documented the condition of the room and my concerns with it.

I give this a 1 star because, I asked for a double queen, and it was what I wanted, but the upkeep on this particular location is very poor, caution tape was around one of the pillars, and the parking lot was full of pot holes, theeeen, as I get to the room the room wasn't ready and people were in there... it needs to be updated... but the lady at the front desk I give her 10 🌟!! She was amazing and sweet and refunded my money.

We stayed at this days inn for several weeks. The staff there is great. Super friendly and extremely helpful. The free breakfast is always plentiful and lots to choose from. Bed are comfortable and rooms are clean. Overall it was a wonderful stay. I would recommend this days inn to anyone. Thanks for the wonderful service! Antwuan and Kendall Lewis.

This hotel was absolutely disgusting when we arrived. Cigarette burns on everything, even the MICROWAVE. Our sheets were covered in blood, urine, and semen. Breakfast was cold and there's nothing there for people with dietary restrictions. The floor had not been vaccuumed, and I assume since the bedding wasn't changed that the room wasn't even cleaned at all. Both ice machines were broken so we couldn't get ice for our drinks. Sketchy area. No bedbugs though 🥴

The lady at front desk and housekeeping rock!!! Housekeeping comes everyday to see if you need anything or to take anything dirty and they're the sweetest. You can't get that anywhere else. Breakfast is good too. Also the shower gets super nice and hot!! Many food places around too!
