Parking at this hotel is an unbelievable $32/day. A better option is to park at the Hyatt /convention center parking deck right next door. It's only $10/day and there's even an enclosed pedestrian bridge that directly connects the Marriott to that parking deck's 3rd floor. For the hotel itself, the level of service was not great. The front desk was friendly, but services we felt were basic for a Marriott were non-existent. Room cleaning was by advance request only. We called down to front desk to ask for some basic items and were told that they do not offer room service. Period. Concierge lounge only just reopened with the most basic offerings. Bourbon room remains closed, which is too bad since it looks beautiful in the lobby yet is being used as a very visible storage area. Otherwise, we found the hotel nice and modern yet still undeniably had a convention center hotel feel. This stay was satisfactory at best.

We checked in on a man wearing a purple suit jacket at 4 o'clock on Tuesday, August 16, 2022. Really unfriendly and treated us negatively on everything. I didn't ask for much just check in&check out, but he treated us inhospitable all the time. It was really upsetting, so we checked out at 7 o'clock that same day. The check-out was also done by him, but it was also very unkind, and he just looked at us when we said we were checking out, and we just returned the card and came out. He was unfriendly all the time and just looked us. I had an unpleasant experience in this hotel and it was the worst Marriott I have ever experienced. Except for him, the others were good.

Very nice property and wonderful staff. We hosted a conference in Louisville and we’re very well supported. Richard Ayson, their Dir of Sales really went above and beyond to take care of our staff and clients as well, making us look great! Thanks so much! Will be back again ASAP!

For the most part staff was super friendly. Our check in staff was a bit cold but maybe they were just really tired because it was late. We were here for a conference for work. The hotel is approximately 6 blocks away from the theater and easy walking distance to most restaurants. I felt very safe walking. I also utilized Uber several times and had no problem getting my drivers quickly and picking me up right in the lobby driveway. The breakfast room was very nice with coffee and a light breakfast each morning. The lobby has a lot of seating to be able to wait for people or just sit and have conversations or whatever. I ordered doordash several times and had no problem getting my food both by having my driver bring it directly to my room or meeting me in the lobby.

Great hotel with a great location if you are doing bourbon tours/tastings in the downtown area. Everything you need in a hotel is here. The bed was so comfortable it was like sleeping in a cocoon. We stayed on the same floor as the Notre Dame football team, and never heard them. Hard to imagine a team could be so quiet and respectful of the patrons around them. I was very impressed.

I have had the pleasure of staying at this Marriott hotel on three separate occasions. The hotel staff is very kind and helpful. I was there last weekend for a convention and everything was top notch. The rooms are updated and very clean. It was a close walk to 4th street where there are plenty of restaurants. The next time I find myself in Louisville I will definitely be staying here!

I've stayed in this hotel multiple times and keep coming back. It's centrally located for the purpose of my travels and in an area of town I feel safe. We tend to do a lot of walking when we come here as well. The rooms are nice and spacious as well as having a mini fridge and microwave. Plus the breakfast you get, well worth it as we fill up on that and go all day till we find something for dinner. I have to say the only thing I don't like is the super small sink in the toilet room. Would recommend this hotel to others.

As always the Marriott in downtown Louisville is tremendous. Within walking distance of whiskey row. Staff are friendly, attentive and take pride in their jobs. On site M-club is fully stocked and bar/restaurant areas are excellent.

The Louisville Marriott Downtown hotel was clean, welcoming, and comfortable. We stayed here for a night and were very impressed. The staff was kind, polite, accommodating, and ready to answer any questions we had. The rooms were modern, spacious, and very clean. The hotel was quiet and safe. The location of the hotel was nice and within walking distance of many attractions. We wanted to explore the urban bourbon trail and the hotel was located in a great spot for this. The price of the hotel was worth it for the cleanliness, safety, and service we experienced. If looking for a place to stay in downtown Louisville, I would recommend staying here.

Stayed here for a mini vacation trip and I loved this location. The staff was very professional and courteous, the location is great especially if you want to be around a lot of things downtown and the interior is absolutely beautiful. The only problem I had was in my room. There was a constant tapping happening somewhere. It sounded to be like cables were hitting up against the wall. It didn’t stop and keep me up so I called the front desk. They were good about it and sent someone to check it out. The guy who came brought a box fan to help drown the noise out. It was kind of late and I went with it so I could go to sleep. For as much as I paid I was just hoping to completely love my stay but at least I was able to get some rest. I would definitely come back though!

Space was very nice and welcoming! All of the staff was very friendly and helpful. The Valet staff was very friendly as we had a lot to unload and pack back up. Chance and Monica went above and beyond with helping me unload the car, get up to the room. Monica was very kind when it was time load the car after a long weekend. Oliver was very kind when we checked in. Overall would be sure to stay again.

Rooms were nice and the food in the restaurant was really good, just really pricey. 100% recommend the avocado toast for breakfast

We decided to stay here for my husband’s birthday and Thunder Over Louisville! The staff was attentive and friendly!!! They had a gift waiting for my husband in the room. A birthday banner was above the bed. So sweet! Will definitely stay here again!

Top shelf experience! Pricey but worth it for the proximity to theatres, restaurants and distillery tours. Didn't have time to try the in-house restaurant but the concierge breakfast and coffee bar was excellent, as was the well- appointed fitness room. Will definately return again.

The staff was great from us checking in to checking out. Valet parking was great. The amazing ladies who did house keeping were amazing. We had a great over all stay here. Very clean and comfortable.

I’ve always loved this hotel. It’s perfectly situated for my needs to get to the places necessary for me during my stays in Louisville. Being close by to the airport while not being considered an “airport” hotel is an added bonus. It’s literally just a ten minute drive up I-65, head west a few blocks, and presto — you’re there. Great parking. Restaurants and bars everywhere. Good shopping close. And it’s a Marriot. They’re the best!

I have stayed in many hotels in and around the U.S. and this was one of the most thoughtful, pleasant and gracious places I have ever stayed. My wife reserved a room for my birthday and Thunder over Louisville. and the view was spectacular and the staff made me feel like a king. Any thing we needed they responded to within minutes I felt as though we were its only guest. They even gave me a birthday gift and card with all their names in it. Never have I been to a place that was so personalized to me and my family. I truly truly appreciate them all and will return every oportunity.

I stayed here this past weekend for a cheer competition. Everything was great from the moment we arrived. Kind, prompt service from Chante, along with the manager, Oliver. We were told Rachel made the best old fashions and they were not lying. And also does a great whisky sour! She was there from the day we got there until we left. She was AMAZING and so was her team. Whole staff knocked it out of the park and we will be back. Thanks again!

Make sure to use ʜoᴛᴇʟʙᴏʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any resort. This site will compare hundreds of booking websites and usually will have prices a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is one of the most well known in this area. I've been staying here for a very long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't be let down. Rare 5 of 5 for me. Very nice, and updated hotel. Check in was seemless. Getting here was easy. Rooms are spacious and corner rooms like mine are also very nice and bright. Restaurant and bars on site. Seems quiet enough for downtown and in range of walking around to other places.

Hotel service was excellent! Met Linda 3rd shift front desk so pleasant and informative. Our group attended SETA, food, setup and service was excellent. When I visit again I will definitely stay here, clean room and comfortable bed!

An absolute marquee of the Marriott brand. Exceptional service, beautiful lobby and in general decor. Beds were the most comfortable I've slept on in any hotel. No one really does it better the Marriott.

The lobby bar was outstanding. I was there with the HVAC group and we went to see Rachel nightly. She knows how to provide outstanding service and was excellent. She might of been one of the only reasons we did not choose to go check out any other locations! We will be back

After a long car ride - we popped down to the hotel bar. Rachel, a legend of a bartender, was quick to ensure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. I am not new to Rachel’s epic service (I was recently here for a work conference). Imagine how excited I was to see that she was working in a night that I was here for pleasure. Check out the hotel bar, it is a fantastic time!

I’d rate this a 3 star hotel not 4 stars. The pool was kinda meh but the gym facility looked nice. Room was fine but nothing super special. Lobby was nice but only one building entrance is currently available. There are other doors but all we’re permanently locked. The rotating door to the hotel was also out of service our whole stay.

Stayed here for Thunder. The hotel is gorgeous, the rooms were fresh and clean. The staff was attentive and very helpful. The hotel was perfect walking distance for the event. It was close enough that it was only a 10-15 walk, and they partner with Hyatt for parking, so there was plenty of parking available. There is even a walk through connecting the two hotels if you end up parking at the Hyatt.

👍👍 We were so impressed with our stay at this hotel. We stayed on a Tuesday night - so it was not busy but we did not expect how quiet it would be! It was awesome!
