First of all, the people are so friendly and nice. The food is AWESOME!! I have many dietary restrictions, like I don’t eat onion, coriander, green onions, leek, parsley, ginger…etc. However, they really put efforts and adjust the dishes. And those dishes taste so great!!! Second, the price is very reasonable compared to other fine dining restaurants. I have been some Michelin restaurants in Maastricht, let’s say, they are way over priced and they are not that flexible regarding on my preferences and allergies. The choice is also very limited. Finally, I would give an extra star for the service. One of the staff noticed that my friend didn’t eat the beef served (because she has braces on and it’s a bit too chewy for her), he offered another fish dishes for her. This is a really generous and kind behavior, which I have never experienced in other restaurants yet. I had really great dinner time here and will definitely come back some other time. Besides, their Rosé wijn is really good!

We had a wonderful dinner at Nigel's restaurant. The atmosphere is very relaxed, and the cook can accommodate any allergies or diets. This restaurant works with a surprise menu, and even though we had very high expectations, it was surprisingly delicious indeed. Highly recommended if one seeks a fine dining experience in Maastricht!

Amazing experience - I can highly recommend coming here! The atmosphere is homey and classic, the owner is very nice, attentive and makes you feel comfortable and taken care of. The food is also incredibly delicious and not knowing what will come makes it exciting. We came here as a team dinner with over 10 people and everybody got an amazing dinner customized to their likes and dislikes. Thank you so much for the lovely evening!

I had a really wonderful experience- all dishes were made with seasonal ingredients that are compliment each other without overpowering one another and deliver a nuanced and complex dish. It is fun to let the chef surprise you, and the passion that the team has shows in their service and flavours. The wine pairing excentuated what was on the plate in a way that felt intentional, and I really appreciated how each course and the wine was explained, creating a story! I will be coming back to Maastricht just to come here again!

Super lovely host and incredible wine. I am very picky about wine and food but everything was delicious!!!! And the service was fast and well ordered. Such a gorgeous location as well- especially the courtyard.

We went here on recommendation and it was better than we expected. Even gluten-, milk- and egg free dining was no problem. Paired with great food, wines and a very nice host, we had a great experience. Worth every penny. And definitely coming back here!

Can't recommend this place highly enough if you're visiting Maastrich. The food is insane and the staff are incredibly hospitable. Could quite happily eat here every night of the week it's that's good. Love the concept of no menue and go with the dishes being served and explained to you as they arrive. You really do need to try this place, you won't be disappointed.

Incredible dinner at Le Courage, Maastricht. Stunning food at ridiculously low prices and a fantastic, easy going, friendly and personal service. Don't even think of going there. The place is ours. Oh, and apparently they also do a great extensive entirely home made high tea for just €18.50.

Details matter to make an experience unforgettable. Here you will remember every detail! The staff was absolutely marvellous from the moment we arrived. They accommodated our baby buggy (whereas at other restaurants we were unable to make a booking because of the baby) and they were very aware of my vegetarian preference. The best place I’ve ever dined vegetarian food in the Netherlands. Tasty, well cooked and different ingredients! Exquisite food. Very knowledgeable on wines that accompanied the different dishes. Staff welcoming, outstanding hospitality! Highly recommended.

Amazing host who really makes you feel welcome with his personal approach. The chef is very creative and each course is a lovely surprise! She especially excels at desserts, so my husband and I dubbed her “The Dessert Queen”! We’ll be back.
