They make construction renovation in rooms from 8:00am morning very high annoyances today 12 October 2023, i was staying in another Valk hotels all was very nice, high quality and quiet but this hotel unfortunately was not as I thought even i called them on phone they didn’t stop annoyances.

Rooms are excellent, clean and spacious. A kingsize bed but unfortunately with two seperate matrasses. A totally weird thing is the glass toilet door with automatic light. No privacy and a lamp that lights the entire room when you go to the toilet at night. Bought the birthday package but it was highly dissappointing. 35 euro for 3 balloons (on the floor) two cans of coke and some weird bonbons. Booked it for my daughters birthday but she walked straight past it. Total waste of money. So overall good room with a great breakfast Just make sure you AVOID the restaurant. Very small menu, hardly any choice. Mediocre food (chewy carpaccio, soggy fries) for a ridiculous price. Not even close to the high standard of other Van Der Valk restaurants.

Lovely hotel...a 30 min walk to the main centre of Maastricht but not too bad. Lovely rooms, great food and drink, great staff and a pool and spa too !

I loved every second in this cozy hotel. My stay here made my trip to the Andre Rieu concert even more special. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, I love the buffet food and the staff is lovely! I will definitely return to Maastricht and stay here again.

Great Place, beautiful room and a big shower with a seperate bathtub and toilet.

Upon entering the lobby, I was ready to be impressed. That's where it ended. Was met by a lukewarm reception. Had refillable water bottles but no place to refill them as gym dispenser was out of service. Rooms were average for the price, but the only pillows were huge and hard. For the price, not sure I would stay again.

Location is good, but you have to take about a half hour to walk into the center of Maastricht. Rooms are very nice and clean and personnel is nice and helpful. The restaurant is good as well as the breakfast. And they have a nice and tastefully decorated bistro for drinks.

Enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is modern and spacious. Good facilities. Food excellent and the staff very helpful.

Nice hotel to stay while visiting Maastricht. Close enough for a nice walk and the hotel is very good and organized with customers. But parking on side and also for E cars

Rooms are decent. Services was a bit quistionable, tried to make an agreement on something. And when I called them later on they said they didnt know about. Breakfast a little bit expensive but it was extensive and very good.

Great place to take a break or drink We went to this place to eat at the restaurant The Service and the presentation of our table was very nice ! Chairs, games for children was adapted and thunking for them 🥰 Good dinner BUT the service of every dishes was so sloooow... 30minutes each... So pity! ... Don't be in a hurry

I went to the business meeting zone of the hotel and to the restaurant for lunch, and it was a nice experience. The facilities are modern and comfortable and the lunch was good. My only suggestion would be to add more power plugs in the meeting rooms, as there are only a handful of them for a room of 30+ people

The room is very cold, and the heating did not work, this is probably the coldest hotel that I have ever been, which is not comfortable. (Because of the high energy price maybe? But isn't it's already included in the price???) The general temperature of the wellness center is also a bit cold, swimming pool is also quite cold, and there were no clean towels... A bit disappointing at this one because we have been to the Van der Valk in Schiedam, everything is very nice there.

This hotel has lovely rooms, with great service and very friendly, helpful staff. It is a 30 minute walk from the old town of Maastricht but the number 7 bus (runs half hourly Mon-/Sat and hourly on a Sunday) takes 10 minutes and stops directly outside the hotel. The hotel has good access off the motorway too, if you are driving. We stayed as part of the Andre Rieu experience and the attention to detail far exceeded our expectations. The food and drink outside of the package at this hotel also represented very good value for money. We would definitely wish to stay at the Van der Valk when visiting Maastricht again and would recommend it to any discerning customer.

Mostly fantastic experience. Hot tub in the suite was fantastic... recommended to bring a bubble bar from Lush or similar for the full effect! Breakfast was plentiful and tasty with a mixture of hot and cold foods. Only downside was that the room toilet got stuck on flush at 1 am, however reception immediately sent someone to fix it.

Lots of parking spots (free parking), very clean and cozy rooms & resto, quiet area outside. Rooms are great, and pretty big. I strongly recommend ! 👍

Nice place to stay with a wellness center that has a pool and multiple saunas. Friendly staff. Good breakfast selection. Nice bar but limited selection. Clean rooms. I didn’t like that the toilet was completely separate and away from the sink. I also didn’t like the door on the toilet closet, not much privacy.

Big yet very cosy hotel with an amazing breakfast. We had also dinner overthere, at Brasserue, food was pretty ok but the service lousy.. We order 2 times drinks which eventually never came. All in all a good experience, might stay there again.

Fantastic stay here. The staff was amazing and so friendly and helpful. Rooms were super spacious and comfortable and clean. Gorgeous restaurant too

Good experience. Staff was nice, bed was comfy, parking was uncomplicated. The curtains in the room did not block the light (missing overlapping rails) and the breakfast buffet would have been nice to have English labels, but otherwise great

Great place and stay! Too soft and squeaky bed - we didn’t have that last time. Food was great except for my hamburger that was lukewarm (didn’t complain though 🙄) Find it slightly intimidating that you’re asked to tip when paying by card.

not the most beautiful Van der Valk that we do but the room was comfortable, spacious and clean as was the bathroom. I regretted the "coldness" of the room and the television was not very useful for a 4* (even if the goal is not to stay in the room all day). Very nice wellness area but the hammam was out of order as was one of the elevators. We probably came at the "wrong time" but we were disappointed... The gym has a very nice view. The staff was friendly.

Hotel and room were very nice. Room was big with a bath and a powerful shower. However bed was two singles pushed together so a gap in the middle. No iron or ironing board in the room you have to ring reception. When it arrived the board was small with two small pull out legs. No sockets in room so had to plug in beside bed and iron on the bed. Not very 4 star. After a long day we wanted something small to eat so entered bar at 9.30 and were given menus. At 10.02 waitress took our order. Manager came over and said kitchen closed at 10. We explained that we had been waiting for service since 9.30 but he didn't apologize just said he could get some bread and chips. Every time we ordered a drink it went to the wrong table. Not very 4 star service. At breakfast our room number was taken but no explanation of what was on offer or where everything was, we had to wander around checking everything for ourselves. Not good enough. When leaving we requested a taxi. After 45 mins we asked again at reception who said one was on the way. Not 4 star service.A taxi pulled up to let someone out, we explained our situation and he immediately ushered us into his car and got onto the radio to inform them that this was not good enough and the hotel should have been onto them to let them know of the situation. He apologized for the delay and bad service even though it was not his fault. That's 4 star service from him. We were not impressed at all with the level of service in the hotel.
