Aaron's building Many people think that this is the burial place of Harun al-Rashid, the Abbasid caliph, but we all know that this is not the case, and in fact, the grave of Harun al-Rashid in Mashhad is located exactly above the grave of the eighth Shiite Imam, and they are buried next to each other. Harun al-Rashid was buried in Mashhad after his death, and later the eighth Imam was buried next to this Abbasid caliph in the same place, which is a Shiite shrine. Harunieh is located 25 kilometers northwest of Mashhad and is one of the oldest works of Tos city, which is located at the beginning of the historical town of Tos and near Ferdowsi's mausoleum. Many experts consider this big building to be a fire temple or a prison or a prison of Mamounieh, but the main use of the building has not been precisely determined. Harounieh Mausoleum is one of the historical places of our country, where there are many doubts about the date of its construction. No archeologist or historian has yet managed to tell the exact date of the construction of this magnificent building: some experts believe that this place was built in the 7th century of Hijri, and others attribute its date to the pre-Islamic era. It is interesting to know that because of the name of this building, some people think that the Harooniya Dome was built during the fifth Abbasid Caliph, Harun al-Rashid; But the truth is that when Harun Al-Rashid was planning to go to Khorasan to suppress people's protests, he fell ill during the journey and died in Tus. During his lifetime, he never had the opportunity to build such a magnificent building. But what all researchers agree on is that the Harounieh dome building was built after the Mongol attack on Iran, because if this building was built before that event, it would not have been possible to survive the brutal attacks of the Mongols. take it and remain strong and standing without any damage or damage until today. The simple architecture of Harounieh Dome proves to us that it lies in simplicity, beauty and strength. This square and spectacular building consists of a solid brick body and a two-shell, earth-colored dome. It is interesting to know that unlike its brick building, no bricks were used in the design of the dome of this building. Like the exterior of Harounieh Dome, its interior is also designed in a simple and beautiful way. The inner space of the dome consists of several different parts of the sub-chamber (3 pieces), Shahneshin (4 pieces) and the cupola, which is appropriately decorated with the architectural style of the 8th century Hijri and with the use of moqrans work and plaster applications. There are many stories about this place, but among the legends, the most famous one seems to be that this place was the tomb of Imam Muhammad Ghazali and one of the ministers of the Abbasid period, perhaps one of the ministers of Harun al-Rashid, built a monastery in this place in honor of Imam Muhammad Ghazali. The shape of the windows and the high arched ceiling, the two secluded corners in the two corners of the building create a very special atmosphere in such a way that even a person who is not a meditator likes to sit by the window for hours in one of those corners and meditate. The light coming in from the window will cleanse his soul

I visited this collection in the cold autumn weather. One of the special features of this building is the interesting atmosphere from the heart of history. This building is devoid of tile decorations and all the decorations are created by bricks. The wind blowing through the mesh walls, maybe you can still hear the dervish's voice from the heart of history.

The vast Haruniyeh Dome in Tus. Some say it is the tomb of al-Ghazali, but this is disputed.

It is a strange structure, plastering the stairs so that no one can go higher, it is not known what it was built for, and the architecture and the atmosphere that it is taking you in.

👍 A memorable square for the people of Mashhad. In addition to being a reminder of Mashhad's historical events, this place is also considered a green park with old trees, and due to tissue therapy, this area provides moments of peace for patients or their companions. Of course, conditions should be co...
