The worst ever airport I have been to, starting from arrival time everybody try to scam you , the luggage trolley service is extremely unprofessional and extremely rude, the passport control is extremely bad , it seems they tend to be unprofessional and unfriendly based on there past experience. I really recommend the airport management to take action towards this unprofessional staff of the luggage service. If you buy anything from the tax free make sure it is eatable ( most of the items are expired) .

For a holly city such as Mashad, it should have one of the best airport in Iran due to the fact that it represents the Holly imam who's buried here, the departure hall is just a large hall that lacks the basics fundamental services and elements "chairs"... Not what I have expected....

The domestic terminal is very well managed and has really high standards for an airport. The same thing can not be said about the international terminal. The building is very old and small and does not really feel like an international airport. Expect to be harassed bitterly for your luggage inspection upon entry as literally every body is accused of being a drug dealer until proven otherwise. I would definitely not recommend using this airport for international travel.

Place is very clean, modern and neat. You can find help almost anywhere. The terminals are close to each other and the airport’s layout is well designed

Worst airport ever.... I can't imagine how the government dont supervise this airport... Very rude luggage staff... they want just take highest tip.from you without professional work.. the shops their are theft.. they 4x double the price without any concern.. especially the hand craft shops in the first hall.. they steal money from you with trible price.. dont buy anything from the airport.. even the supermarket. The price trible higher than what was written by the government in the crisp .. Please dont buy anything from the airport..they are scamers and theft.

Regrettably, my recent encounter with Mashhad Hashemi Nejad International Airport left much to be desired. The airport's shortcomings in several key areas significantly impacted the overall quality of my travel experience. The airport's facilities fell short of expectations. The terminals appeared outdated, and there were noticeable signs of wear and tear. The lack of cleanliness in certain areas was particularly disappointing, contributing to a less-than-pleasant environment. While some staff members were courteous, the overall level of service was inconsistent. At times, there seemed to be a lack of coordination among personnel, resulting in confusion and delays. Maintaining a clean environment seemed to be a challenge for the airport. Restrooms were not adequately cleaned, and public spaces exhibited a level of neglect that was disappointing. Cleanliness is a fundamental aspect of any airport, and Mashhad Hashemi Nejad International Airport fell short in this regard.

Very impolite security guard, they were asking humiliating questions from my husband when we wanted to fly back home. Have been to other middeleast countries before and never seen such behavior from security staff in the airport. Shame on you!

Taxi service car quality is poor. one weakness is Exit and Boarding salon for international flait is far from each other and it is confusing.

The best airports in Iran in my opinion even better than IKA ( Imam Khomeini Airport) It has 3 separate terminal. The main terminal is for domestic flights the second and the third one are for departure and arrival international flights ✈ Too many flights from different destinations including international flights.

I will never ever visit this country anymore . Selfish and route staff operating this airport. Highly recommending don’t visit this country don’t west your money.
