This work was built at the end of the Qajar period by the order of Yusuf Khan Herati, the last daroghe of Mashhad in an area of about 1,100 square meters. The heirs of the late Herati lived in this house until the 1960s. In terms of form and architecture, Darogheh house of Mashhad was built in the traditional style of Iranian historical houses (three-sided construction) and its architectural elements, especially the two-sided terrace design and decorations, show that it was modeled after Russian architectural designs. The principles of introspection in Darogheh house of Mashhad: One of the beliefs of the Iranian people is the importance of personal life and its sanctity, as well as the self-esteem of Iranians, which has made architecture introverted. Introversion is one of the principles of Iranian architecture, which can be used in various ways according to the circumstances. Is visible.

Visiting Iranian houses built in the 19th century with its special architecture is always great. This house, after renovation, has retained its character and us a true example of the reality of the living conditions of the upper class Iranians in the 19th century. The House is relatively small and the interior cannot be visited. The visit is limited to the courtyard and the basement which is a craft shop now. The only negative thing about the place is the badass rascal who is the security guard and harasses women with loose headscarves. He doesn't belong to the place.

It is good to get acquainted with the life in Ghajar era. The architecture is purely Iranian and it has been rehabilitated recently. It is recommended to visit, if you have the time for.

It was really beautiful. It worths to visit once. It displays people and their jobs in the past when technology had no role in people's lives. You can have a pleasant tea there. The entrance is 3000 thousands for each person.
