The detail given to us and our food was beyond incredible. Amazing taste. Everyone spoke English (even for the phone reservation). Excellent place for a date, a business meeting, or just relax after work. Depending on what you order, it can be a bit expensive but it is well worth it.

Well we ate at one of the best Tokyo restaurants for Wagyu Kobe beef A5. I have to admit the meat actually is melting in your mouth. The service and class of this restaurant was one of the highest i had and i really enjoyed all the dishes from our chef! After the meal they move you to a second room to enjoy your dessert. Hopefully i can come again next time!

A truly excellent teppanyaki restaurant in a wonderful dark space that looks like a movie set. The design is stunning, rather like eating inside a velvet seashell. It's a classy and elegant place. Servi e is impeccable. The only negative was a bunch of foreign customers being loud and obnoxious, and another clueless gentleman wearing much too much rather strong cologne. No wonder some places are for Japanese only!

Have been eating here for at least the past 25 years, and nothing changes.. Food is always fresh and high quality. Even the less expensive beef option in the set menu is good enough already. Highlight is always the individual grilled garlic chips!

With several locations in Tokyo and a long history, this teppanyaki grilling at its finest ( gourmet food comes at a very high price!). There are a few teppan tables but most sit at a large circular table for 28 with one chef cooking for up to four people, all in the centre. Dessert and drinks are served in a relaxing lounge.

Went with a friend. Both of us ordered the Kobe Special Dinner with Red Wine. Very excellent albeit incredibly expensive. Full attention of chef at the table. Everything was cooked perfectly. Dessert was amazing. So much care has been taken to ensure the service of waiters were impeccable.

Fantastic authentic Japanese restaurant with excellent food and impeccable service. I've eaten there twice and can't wait to go back a third time. The intimate rooms/table settings make it feel like you have your own private restaurant. It's pricey but well worth it as a treat. Order the beef rare for the best experience!

This place is a must if in the area! High-quality fresh food, outstanding service, and a romantic atmosphere! The food and service are definitely worth the price. We loved everything we tried. The best grilled corn I've ever had. All the food was simply seasoned with exceptional flavor. The kobe here is delicious! It was all prepared and plated beautifully. The chefs cook in front of you and make this a personal, unique experience. Lots of indoor dining, we were seated right away. After the meal, they seat you in a nice lounge area for dessert and coffee. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Honestly would have given 100 stars out of 5 if I could! Brought my wife for her first Kobe beef experience and she absolutely love it. We went for the autumn Kobe option and Mon Cher Ton Ton Kobe option and it was phenomenal. Will absolutely recommend for anyone that wants to eat kobe beef to head on down to this outlet! The chefs are super friendly and you are really getting your money’s worth for the full set meals that you get. We were so full at the end of our meals but it’s super worth it as compared to the other Kobe beef places that I have eaten at.

It was amazing, Kobe beef lived up to the expectations, and non Kobe beef was just as good. Staff was incredibly attentive and also super friendly. We were on our honeymoon and they gave us an amazing dessert and a photo printed to remember the dinner.

Disgustingly expensive absent of the taste. The location, setting and service are pretty good, but the food is basic at best. Seriously, DO NOT waste your money!!!! $270 per person for some fried veg, steak and ice scream is insane!! If if we’re to make a guess, the hotels are getting a kickback on their recommendations, but this is mere speculation on my part.

Highly recommend to go! If you go to Japan you need to experience a real Teppanyaki and Mon cher ton ton is one of the best. Food are amazing, well presented and very tasty. The ambiance is cozy and staff very friendly and attentive.

This wagyu restaurant was recommended by my hotel and they have multiple locations across Tokyo. I elected to try the location in Roppongi as it was in the heart of the area and allowed for additional sightseeing or barhopping afterwards. The restaurant provides a number of set menus, and I elected the mid-level SERYNA dinner for 12,960 yen, which consisted of: amuse, hot appetizer, grilled prawn and scallop, wagyu prime sirloin, vegetable salad, garlic rice and miso soup, dessert and coffee. I upgraded to the use of Kobe beef for an additional 6,000 yen. The amuse of spinach and mushrooms was clean and refreshing. The hot appetizer, which was a slow cooked beef stew, was savory and a bit heavier to further whet the appetite. Next was the first teppan grilled course, the prawn and scallop. Word of warning, the prawn is alive when they start grilling it. While the prawn and scallop were delicious, this might catch some people off guard. Next was the wagyu steak, which I ordered medium due to a bout of food poisoning the night before. It was purely buttery, melt-in-your-mouth texture, and had a wonderful mouthfeel. The way the chef sliced through the beef made it apparent that it was going to be very tender even before I put the first piece in my mouth. Next was the string cut vegetable salad, which was a nice crisp, refreshing break from the meat. And to complete any Japanese meal, the chef grilled garlic fried rice accompanied by pickles and miso soup, superb. After finishing the meal, you are taken to a separate area to enjoy your selected dessert and coffee to engage in conversation before ending the evening. Service, was top notch, as expected in Japan. The chefs and wait staff spoke enough English to describe each dish or drink, and all in all, this was a top level experience.

Probably the best Kobe steak I've ever had. The service was implacable, the interior design is beautiful. A private chef prepared everything in front of us, and explained every dish. Delicious and very high quality and class. My only comment is that the courses can be a bit more spaced. They arrived too fast, without giving us enough time to relax between them. Another thing is that the kobe steak should be served last, and not the missu soup. Save tge best for last, as they say. Super fancy, expensive, and totally worth it!

What a dinner Celebrating the classic teppanyaki Amazing service, great staff that were always on hand and ready to make sure the night was perfect. The tepan chefs were entertaining and skillful and the food and most importantly the beef was amazing (aside from the beef the highlight was the lobster miso!) Wines were great, we went by the glass as we thought this more cost effective and also better variety. It's definitely an old school setting and set up but that is overpassed by the food and the service. A great experience. One note, we thought we had prepaid for our meal but I think it was just a hold and then we had to pay the full total at the end of the meal, so just a heads up there..

Loved the whole experience. A bit heavy on the garlic but it’s great. Kobe beef is a bit too pricey and the regular one is still amazing.

Don’t usually leave reviews on restaurants, but I feel obligated as this teppanyaki may have topped my list of restaurants I’ve been to. Located in Roppongi, this restaurant is surrounded by Tokyo’s high-end living. Walking into Mon cher ton ton, you are greeted by exceptional staff and a bridge crossing an indoor stream adding to the pristine ambiance. The meal was exactly what you would expect from a place with this type of setting, mouth-watering. Absolutely loved it. Wagyu meat melted in my mouth with a fun chef who spoke a bit of English to keep conversation fun and unique. My wife and I ate lunch here as a “last meal” before heading to the airport back to the States. The fact that we almost went for $10 ramen down the street makes me grateful I gave in to my temptation of fine dining (I’m sure the ramen would have been great). Will be back next Tokyo trip. (We did get the two cheapest lunch specials and a couple diet cokes, final bill was ¥31,000).

Our party of 3 dinned here in August 2022. While the food was excellent, we had an enormous mixup with the wine bill and we were charged Y190,000 yen for a bottle of wine. The Park Hyatt Tokyo called on our behalf, as well as my Visa credit card and the restaurant did nothing to help us. Extremely disappointed. They did not even offer a free meal to compensate for this error. The first bottle of wine was 19,000, and when we asked for another they said they were 'sold out'. The staff then brought a bottle of white wine in error. Again, we asked for red wine and the staff brought a bottle that was 190,000 Yen. We were extremely shocked by the bill. I can't believe the restaurant has not offered any form of compensation for this error.

Good but priced as if it was excellent. Very classic teppanyaki. Velvet underground location with no natural light. Course menu properly done, great hospitality but expect to pay 250€/$ per person AS A MINIMUM up to 5/600€/$ and more for eating food worth half of that price or less.
