A Taste of Parisian Bliss in Montreal! Duc De Lorraine is a hidden gem in Montreal that transports you straight to the charming streets of Paris. From the moment you step in, the quaint ambiance and warm, inviting decor whisk you away to a different world. Our server, Killian, was an absolute delight. His impeccable manners and genuine warmth made us feel like cherished guests. His recommendations were nothing short of culinary magic. Each dish he suggested was a symphony of flavors that danced on our palates. The attention to detail in every aspect of the experience, from the perfectly brewed coffee to the heavenly pastries, speaks volumes about the dedication of the staff and the passion they have for their craft. Duc De Lorraine is a must-visit for anyone seeking an authentic taste of France in the heart of Montreal. Merci beaucoup, Killian, and the entire team, for creating such a memorable dining experience. I would happily return for more of your culinary wizardry!

Just recently went there and had a great experience. The waiter Titouan provided great customer service. He was very knowledgeable about the menu. The croque monsieur is the among the best that’s even better than one from Paris. The restaurant has a great vibe which makes the experience even better. Highly recommend it if you’re in Montreal. The staff sang happy birthday to my mom for her 70th birthday that made it memorable.

Special shoutout to our amazing server Sam, who made our visit truly memorable. The culinary skills of Chefs Enok and Mariana brought out the best in every dish, and the presentation by Sarah and Marion added a touch of elegance. And let's not forget Frank, the efficient busboy who kept everything running smoothly.

Picked up some pastries to go at this establishment, and my experience was amazing! The staff was super friendly and the pastries all looked absolutely delicious. We tried the almond croissant, cheese croissant, madaline and their coffee. I highly recommend checking this place out!

Everything was delicious, our waiter Titouan was so friendly and gave us good recommendations. It was my 1st time but definitely will come back to try other items on the menus. So hard to choose, everything looks scrumptious. We tried the pancakes and the filet mignon egg Benedict, both dishes were exquisite. A must try, you won’t regret it.

Food was good but not wow, service was terrible for how much they charge people. There was a mistake with my order and I ended up eating when my partner finished half of their breakfast. The mistake wasn’t fixed by the waiter when we paid. It was a dollar difference but it’s not the amount that matters, it was just unprofessional. If you want some sort of service don’t eat indoor.

My partner wanted to experience the bistro and unfortunately it was not what we expected at all. The service was excellent and our server Killian was professional and attentive with a smile when answering our questions and requests. However the price-quality ratio for the food was not up to par. My crab cake eggs Benedict was bland and my partner’s croque madame was a bit messy and soggy. We might give it another try eventually, but cannot recommend the bistro with our experience. The kitchen was slow as we had time to finish our coffees before the food arrived. Total was a little over $122 including tips, so we expected a memorable experience! The bakery/pastry part is worth the detour since I have been going there for croissants 🥐 as well as other items for years, and the quality is fairly consistent.

"Duc de Lorraine is an absolute gem in the heart of Montreal, and my dining experience was nothing short of exceptional. The ambiance exuded a perfect blend of sophistication and warmth, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The attentive and knowledgeable staff added to the overall charm, providing excellent recommendations that elevated my culinary journey. The menu at Duc de Lorraine is a gastronomic delight, offering a diverse selection of French-inspired dishes that showcase the chef's culinary prowess. Each dish was a masterpiece, meticulously crafted with fresh, high-quality ingredients that tantalized the taste buds. What truly sets Duc de Lorraine apart is the attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction. From the elegant presentation of each course to the impeccable service, every aspect of the dining experience was thoughtfully curated. The dessert menu was a delightful conclusion to the meal, featuring delectable treats that left a lasting impression. Whether you're celebrating a special occasion or simply craving an exquisite culinary adventure, Duc de Lorraine is the epitome of fine dining in Montreal. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant to anyone seeking a memorable and indulgent gastronomic experience. Five stars without a doubt!"

Had been waiting since a whole to try the desserts out, and I had the cheesecake, almond croissant, and a single hazelnut macroon. We did get some latte as well. The place is very pricey, but the food is pretty good. I was just flipping through the menu to find a very expensive journey if I decided to stay for dinner. The service was really good, and the ambiance was okay, I was out on the patio. For Christmas, I ordered this rich plum cake, and I absolutely loved it. It was so rich, moist, and had the perfect texture.

I went for a New Year's Eve brunch and was particularly very pleased with the service - the staff was extremely friendly and attentive to our needs. The food, although pricey, was quite good and the menu had plenty of variety whether for brunch or a lunch/dinner or especially for desserts and coffee. I would certainly recommend the pancakes before anything else, easily the best I've had in years. The atmosphere was very cozy and welcoming as well. Overall I would visit again on special occasions.

We were looking for a good cafe/brunch spot which was also dog friendly and stumbled across this restaurant where everyone was super accommodating. The food was delicious (we ordered the Salmon Avocado Toast and Crabe), service was great & my pup even got some treats!

Food is very good but pricey. Service was mediocre but our waiter was very apologetic about certain things. He was very kind. Can recommend this establishment and especially their pastries!! Such a large selection and what we ordered was divine. Unfortunately, I forgot to take photos of them.

As a first time visitor to Montreal, we wanted to try some French pastries. Found this fancy place close to st Joseph’s oratory. We absolutely loved their pastries and coffee options. Tried their Paris Brest and Mouse Royale pastries. Loved their presentation style too. Definitely recommend this to someone visiting Montreal.

Amazing food, service and ambiance! Our waiter Rafaad was exceptional during our visit. We had the millefeuille double creme and the grand Marnier patate. I definitely recommend the "Millefeuille Double cream" if you are wondering what to have. The Grand Marnier patate was alright but the Millefeuille was the star during our visit.

It was a true pleasure having an exceptional service provided by our server Titouan. We were treated like valued guests by his friendliness, sense of humour, attentiveness, and positive attitude. Titouan’s service went above and beyond by providing helpful and thoughtful recommendations as well as ensuring a smooth dining experience. Titouan’s demeanour added to the overall enjoyment of our visit, making it an absolute delight. Merci beaucoup Titouan for creating such a wonderful and memorable experience. I highly recommend Duc de Lorraine to others seeking both a delightful setting and outstanding service. It feels like a café in France.

We were looking for a dessert spot in Montreal and came across this place so we decided to try it out.We tried the duo pistachio, opera, and the Mille-feuille and everything was delicious. Even my partner who normally isn’t fond of sweets said it was great! Our waitress Lea and the other waiter who was working today (I didn’t get his name) was extremely attentive and nice. Overall, great experience and we will definitely be back. :)
