Pfftt. Don't go here. The guy running the place is a total scammer. Sure if you get a room during an uneventful week in Montreal, chances are it'll work out fine for how much you pay. But get a room during a weekend like Osheaga and he'll pull the same stupid trick with every guest: Make up a bullshit excuse about how there's no more room for you and blame it on the travel sites. Then, he'll send you to a student dorm room building 30 more minutes away from the festival grounds (They said it was only 2 minutes away). Basically, he takes your money and buys a cheaper room for you. Even if you book it months in advance like we did and still got kicked out cause people booking on the same day we were there. So if you go to Osheaga, make sure you pay a minimum of 100 bucks a night at an actual hotel.

Also got scammed like a few others. Don't stay here. Booked the twin room and ended up being almost double charged for my booking due to admin errors. My $100 room ended up costing me $160. Still waiting on my refund. Upon arrival, they couldn't find the key for our actual room, had to wait almost an hour for them to find. Until they sort out my refund, I can't really recommend this place.

Overbooking scam!! You have to wait 3-4 hrs with like 15 other people just to get checked in, and when you do...surprise! it's somewhere else 20 mins away that's way cheaper!! From what I hear it's not just a one day mistake thing, they do it quite a lot. You ask for a refund since they charge you the full hotel price, but they just drag it on until they don't respond anymore. Stay away.

Would not recommend at all. The host can be disturbingly rude and disrespectful. Wifi was off a couple of hours/days. More often than not there is not a hint of hot water to shower. Heating is pretty bad and the room gets cold very often. But my issue was mostly with the host's disrespectful attitude.

The guy in charge was disorganized. Didn’t know we were coming and didn’t match booking site’s price, claimed I owed home more money, also claimed that we booked two beds not three. Papers in his office everywhere. Don’t believe photos: the common spaces a mess. Don’t pay him until You check your conditions. We left the second night and booked a hotel because we had no working heat in our room. Space heater for the cat in living room was warmer than our room’s space heater. You could see your exhale in our bedroom. The bathroom was disgusting: went to wash my hands and stepped on a sogging wet towel that took up half the floor. The other half was taken up by a space heater. Only bright spot was the really sweet kid who changed the sheets and brought us towels, and the bedroom sheets and towels seemed clean. Ugh. Worst night of accommodations ever. Woke up so tired. I want a refund. 🤒

We didn't actually stay as the site we went through overbooked them. But the staff was excellent at finding us another place to stay and were very friendly and made me wish we could've stayed there. Also, they have 2 beautiful dogs that live there, super chill dogs that didn'tale any noise and very friendly.

Had a great time staying at reBoot in Montreal! The rooms were clean and nice, the staff was friendly and helpful and the hostel is in a great part of the city!
