The owner is a thief, one price on the regular menu, overpriced on a made up menu and charges $5 extra per person and no desert, and the excuse was it was Saturday and a group, BS... stay away from this place....no one asked for a private room, and nothing was mentioned beforehand. I did not make a scene because of the group. The food is not the best quality, general Tao chicken was not fresh, had pieces that were stringy, and i almost choked. I have had better at less expensive places. I wouldn't ever go back, and many from the group have had the same issue... the waiter was rude and arrogant. I still tiped him 15% AGAIN STAY AWAY they are thieves.

Great restaurant, great food and great staff!!! If you appreciate good food then Shekz is hands down a restaurant you need to try out. Try it once and you’ll keep going back. Loved the experience. The food was awesome and the ambiance was nice and quaint. The waiters were great and friendly. I would definitely go back and personally recommend anyone to go visit them. Despite being reopened for 1 week after Covid lockdown, I give them a 5 star review Awesome work guys. Keep it up You now have a new customer for life

Excellent restaurant, superb food and personal service. We had a private birthday party in the group room and everything went great. I had the steak and it was just perfect. We will definitely be back.

Best restaurant I've been so far. Nice staff, REALLY good food. the singer even sang happy birthday to my mom. The sashimi was AMAZING and the ambience was really nice. Oh they also serve good drinks as cocktails and yeah, alcohol. My favorite restaurant ❤

The food and service is excellent but the music is too loud and people are talking louder so they can hear themselves. We ask gently to lower the music and it was nicer after.

I ordered chicken and corn soup, spring rolls and Cantonese style noodles using SkipTheDishes and everything was delicious! This restaurant is so close to me so I’ll definitely go eat there soon!

Food is ok, nothing special and very overpriced, service was very slow and waiter seemed very overwhelmed. Will not go back and wouldn't recommend

Love the food every time I eat here!! Any kitchen I’m craving; Sushi, Szechuan or Italian all hit every time. They also always have great playlists if you come with friends or family it’s always a good time. Server Anthony always gives us great service !

OVERPRICED, long service, small portions, Waited 1 hour for a bottle. Atleast the food didn't taste too bad... atleast. Probably won't be going back though. My waiter(the old man who shouted at me asking if I think I can do a better job than him after I asked why it took an hour to recieve my drink) definitely made sure of that.

Small portions too expensive for the small boxes of food they give. 5$ for extra broccoli.. literally had 5 pieces.... Idk tasted great but dessappointed that I paid 60$ for McDonald's sized boxes ....

Ordered takeout this passed weekend. The staff is very courteous and friendly. Special thank you to Anthony. He is very attentive, even if you just do takeout. The food is amazing. So tasty and fresh. The peanut butter dumplings are out of this world. Highly recommend this hidden gem.

Feel very sorry for the rookie waiters getting bullied by the old head waiter who just talks to much and forgets the orders. He is very rude not professional . Doesn't know how to answer when you ask about the menu. Also certain foods are ok very expensive for the little you get. Not even the birds would be able to eat the bread that's harder than ceramic. Never going back rather starve to death

Awesome service and food was excellent. I come here at least 3 times a month and i am always served with respect. Waiters are the sweetest and do everything to please their customers.

Really enjoyed this restaurant, their dumplings were fantastic, the sushi and some of their Asian dishes like general tao and sesame beef were very good as well. Definitely need to try the steak the next time. Staff was very friendly and the waiter Nick was great, energetic and entertaining as well. Definitely going back and recommended

Very salty and overpriced, they ask you if you want regular water or sparkling and when you say regular they bring you Fidji water at $9 a bottle already opened . The quality and taste of the food does not justify the cost . I’ve had much better elsewhere. Very salty and way too expensive for what it is ….

Had a great experience at this restaurant. Sushi was amazing I’ll definitely be back next time I am in Montreal!
