Not only do they have a great menu filled with delicious choices the staff are so friendly and helpful that it’s a delight to eat here. We always go for the soups which are always served with fresh Thai basil, sprouts and if you want to live dangerously or love spice fresh chilli’s. We never leave disappointed. We also have tried a few sides and desserts which are delicious. Place is always kept clean even when it is super busy. Prices are reasonable

We ordered the Extra Large Spicy beef and pork Pho. It was delicious, flavoursome and HUGE. I mean HUGE. I was starving before ordering XL but turns out that still was too much. Definitely coming back. Recommended.

I got the XL rare, well done, and beef brisket Pho, it was very good! I really enjoy that they have multiple sizes to choose from. The atmosphere was really lovely, quiet. I'm surprised that they don't have more people just hanging out and enjoying a bowl of soup. The service was marvelous too. Very fast.

Went last night to the new location on st martin laval. Soup was amazing, fried wontons to die for. Barbecue beef melted in my mouth, excellent, fast service, we will return.

Restaurant Lyla is the best Vietnamese I’ve had in Montréal. I go there consistently, and I’ve never been disappointed. The only thing that is sad is that they don’t deliver anymore only through food delivery apps which gets way too expensive, so I don’t get to order from them as much as I used to. The food is always hot, fresh and delicious. Merci Lyla!

We started to go this place 10 years ago. It became one of our "go to" vietnamese restaurant. Pho was delicious, BYOB. However, since we moved to the Southshore, we completely forgot about this restaurant. Recently we passed by, same owner, same staffs, food was still delicious and price is very reasonable! Thank you! Highly recommended!

Absolute gem of a place, been coming here for years. The staff is always so nice and the food is beyond delicious. It’s out of the way for me but I always try and get here whenever I can. Also best spring rolls I’ve tried so far!

This place is great. Fast efficient and polite service made my lunch break. I ordered their most popular Pho soup and it was delicious and full of flavour 😋 Perfect for a cold day. I’ll definitely come back soon. It was hard to find parking around since it was a snow clearing day but I found one on a street close by. It is also a BYOW. Thanks

What a gem of a pho place, the staff there are genuinely the nicest people. Food is amazing and low priced, a miracle. The times I have gone it's almost never busy which I don't understand, such a good place to eat with friends.

They serve fresh chilis. For the faint hearted, they also provide scissors to cut your peppers but I prefer to just bite em.

First time here. Ordered pho. Pros: - Tender slices of beef - Fair quantity of beef, considering the Post-COVID era Cons: - broth lacks taste and scent, compared to other popular pho places in Montreal - missing garnish (no cilantro, no green onions in soup) - Thai basil with huge black spots (lacks freshness) - Offers you lemon instead of lime - Rice noodle a tad undercooked So a very average pho place. Lots of corners cut. Went there a Saturday afternoon.

I just ordered from this restaurant tonight via uber eats. I'm half Vietnamese and eat and order from Vietnamese restaurants regularly and I have to say this restaurant was quite disappointing. I ordered two small soups and they were so TINY! Literally half the size of normal small soups from other restaurants. Definitely not worth $6! They should charge $3 for that size. Then I ordered their Bun Thit Nuong and they barely put any pork in the order and the pork itself barely had flavour. It was NOT worth $17. They should either add more meat and leave it at that price or charge less and give that small portion of meat. I also ordered a Bun Bo Hué but haven't tried it yet. But considering the first two things that I tasted I'm not expecting anything extraordinary. It's a shame because I normally am happy with most of the Vietnamese restaurants that I order from and don't normally leave a review like this. I'm just so bummed that I spent so much money on my order and got subpar food.

Big plates, delicious food, reasonable prices. Super attentive and friendly staff. Clean and utilitarian inside. Looks mediocre from the street, but it’s really a hidden gem.

Perfect Pho! I just got back from Vietnam and what I can say is that the pho in Lyla is more delicious! Great music and staff, love you! See you next time I come to Montréal!

My go-to Pho spot for many years. The last time we went however the noodles were overcooked and the beef was chewy 😔 Hopefully it was just a mishap. I can overlook that since they have been consistently amazing for years!

The Pho here is better then what i had in Vietnam! The Bun Bo Hue is the best i have had in Montreal. Great prices and BYOB.

A bit of waiting for lunch rush, but we got a table without reservation. The service was quick, staff is really nice and the price is fair for the luncb menu

The cashier should smile more to customers. Nobody is begging you for food here lady. Food is alright. Quality definitely went down over the years.

Best Pho in Montreal. The broth is fragrant, the staff is super friendly and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

The pho I had here was arguably one of the worst I have ever had. The broth itself was fatty, the noodles were overcooked and mushy, the quantity of beef was severely lacking (I am talking about 5 to 6 pieces in total, maximum), and I was served actual chunks of fat--no meat to be found whatsoever attached--on my "beef flank". Moreover, it was on the expensive side, especially considering the general lack of beef in the soup. Finally, it is always a red flag for me when a pho restaurant has Sriracha only--no chili oil. Next time I am going to listen to my instincts and skip town. Two stars because the service was fine and the place itself is clean and charming in a tacky way.

Reasonable portion but not big, food is tasty, general tao chicken is more salty than sweet

Pho #24 was amazing. Tender meat with appropriate fats. Bột chiên chay took 30 minutes for unknown reason and had some egg pieces although there supposed to be no egg.

One of the best restaurants in my opinion. The costumer's service is amazing! The food was the most delicious I ever tasted and they have a really nice atmosphere. 10/10 would come again *do not hesitate to try this, they are amazing and you won't regret it*
