Had breakfast with great service and really good prices. Hit this place after getting off of the morning ferry from Milwaukee.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND as the food is great as always. The need more staff, we waited for 25 minutes to just place our order. I understand and do have patience but in case you don't, which is how the world is today, then make sure you know.

We came in late close to closing and did not expect this good of food or service so thank you. Hell even toast is good and they have Smuckers jelly with an abundant variety.

I have to say this is a wonderful place to eat waitress was great friendly a great worker the food was amazing this is like an old fashioned restaurant I will be a regular customer here this has to be the best restaurant in Muskegon I will recommend this place of you want amazing food and great service go here and the prices are good and you get a lot of food for the money

Small mom and pop shop, great food. You get big portions for the price, fresh homemade bread served with breakfast. Friendly staff, quick service, over all great decision to stop in. And for the coffee drinkers, it's delicious

It's home away from home. Very warm service, they make an effort to accommodate your preferences and needs. Plus.... we got a complimentary for our anniversary so that's a plus. I'll always come back!

This was my first time here. Service was 5-star! The servers were friendly and worked as a team. The food was SO GOOD and reasonably priced. I definitely want to try lunch and dinner.

Food was amazing. Crazy variety. Great daily specials. But our waitress seem to act as if we were not there. She wasn't attentive. She didn't bring what we asked for. But we tipped her anyway, maybe she was having a bad day.

First time in and it was exceptional! Great, relaxed atmosphere, friendly staff, easy to read menu and the burger I ordered was fantastic! Another thing I loved was sitting back closer to their kitchen because I was able to hear a staff that seems to truly enjoy working together! Will be back!

I stopped for lunch on a Tuesday and the place was busy. I was seated at the counter and the server came right over and took my drink order. I asked her which hot sandwich she would recommend, and she said Turkey so that’s what I went with. My food came right out, and everything looked good. The bread was homemade and thick cut, and the turkey was shredded. The mashed potatoes tasted homemade because they were a little lumpy. The only thing I really didn’t care for was the gravy and potatoes together. I know it sounds crazy, but when I tried the turkey and bread with the gravy, everything tasted good. When I ate the potatoes and gravy together, for some reason, it tasted a bit sour. I ate some of the potatoes without the gravy and they tasted good. I cannot explain this, but it’s what it was. The server asked if I liked my meal because my potatoes were left, and I told her the story. She brought me my check and had discounted it because of what happened. I told her that I didn’t want that, I wanted to pay full price because it didn’t make sense, and everything looked so good. She insisted and reduced my ticket. I added the discounted food price to my tip. This place is really clean and very well kept. The food really did look and as far as the turkey, tasted great. If I am ever back in town, I would stop here again to give them another chance as they had a very extensive menu. Overall, this place is worth a try, the servers are wonderful, at least the one I had was.

Casual dining at its best! The food and service are terrific and reasonably priced. The dining area is clean and simple. Our party of eight all loved our dishes. They have an amazing array of fish dishes, a wide variety of breakfasts, and there's even a sweet little dessert menu. The cod dinner I had was the best fried cod I have ever eaten. The strawberry shortcake was every bit as good as my grandmother's, right down to the sweet, light, homemade-tasting whipped cream topping! This is definitely our new favorite restaurant!

A year ago the food was phenomenal, this time I was served a chicken penne with so much precooked bacon that when I went to take a bite it had a flavor I could only describe as disgusting. When I flipped the chicken around that was cut it was Grey from cooking on the grill which means it was old chicken. I could no longer eat it. But I also will never go back.

The food was fantastic. Sourdough toast made from thick sliced freshly baked bread. My son ordered a cinnamon roll the size of plate. The wait staff was very friendly but appeared a little frazzled by a full house.

Was greeted right away, by more than one server. Of course with a smile. Everyone friendly, servers work to gather. Coffe, beverages, never get low. Food came out at a reasonable time. Everything was delicious. Staff is wonderful. I highly recommend this place. Love y'all ❤️

One of the top 5 breakfasts I've ever had! Friendly staff and INCREDIBLE food. The homemade bread was outstanding. I wish I lived closer so I could try more food. Cute decor and very clean. If you're in the area you HAVE to try it.

My sister and I try to meet at least once a week because we LOVE the food! The staff is so friendly and the prices are great! I highly recommend if you're looking for some delicious dinner setting food!

Great diner type menu. My husband had breakfast and I had a half an order of hot turkey sandwich with mashed potatoes on the waitress's recommendation. Excellent. All I could think about was what would the dressing taste like with the turkey if it was available. I would stop again.

Husband and I came here for our first date. We try to come back every year. Not anymore. Got here at 2 and they close at 3. Cooks must not have been happy bc food wasn't good. The waitress was sloppily dressed in sweats. Place has gone downhill. Their cue for us to leave at 250 was cranking music and vacuuming at our table. Very rude. Won't be back.

You're able to be so precise with online ordering, it's fantastic! Plus I put a special note in (extra crispy hashbrowns) and they did a great job making it happen. Poached egg packaged separately prevents soggy takeout. Super happy.

Diamond in the rough for sure! My boyfriend and I were looking for a place to have breakfast after a stay-cation in Muskegon. We stumble upon this place and are very glad we did. Has a vacation beach feel. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious! This will be our permanent breakfast spot!

Traditional American breakfast diner with a nice environment, friendly staff, fast service, & quality food. Unless your looking for a brunch spot with bottomless mimosas (I wasn't that day), what more can you ask for? Wish my dog hadn't eaten my dad's leftovers that he gave me, I was looking forward to eating the rest of his charizo omelette.

Our large group had our reservation canceled on us when we got there (not lakeside) we called Lakeside and they were able to accommodate our group on very short notice. Staff was fantastic and the food was outstanding. We may change our normal spot to this place.. thanks!!!

The menu did not appeal to me. Half of the family ordered food, it seemed edible, they ate it. We got Mexican across the street and brought it over so we could all eat together. I loved the games and tables they had. Coffee was good also. Lol

Staff and setting were great! Reasonable prices as well. Classic style American diner feel. Hash browns were undercooked and bland, like they weren't seasoned. Eggs were over easy when ordered over medium. Turned slimy and cold. Other than that, everything was great!

My boyfriend had the ultimate stuffed hash browns and they were delicious and unique. They are like a hash brown omelet. The hash browns were very crispy. "They were something I never had before. I am very happy I ordered it." I had blueberry pancakes. They were delicious! They added a little flavor to the batter, maybe vanilla, that really made them delicious. The staff were delightful and the service was great.

We have been to lakeside,two weeks in a Row! We were very thrilled with it. We love mom and pop restaurant . The food was excellent, prices were OK, service was outstanding, very friendly, staff and the other customers were very friendly. It will be in our book of places to return often!

Breakfast is AMAZING and very affordable, given the portion sizes. Everything, including the bread, is homemade. Service is super, too. They were able to accommodate our group of 6, but that was fortuitous timing on our part. The setup was more suited to groups of 4 or smaller (but it's worth it to separate your group into the smaller tables and go anyway]

Food was amazing and even though we showed up 15 minutes before closing they served us and made my family fill very welcome
