This review of Hempen jewellers is long overdue. In this summer of 2021 I needed to replace and repair my wife’s engagement ring including getting it resized. Tom and team at Hempen were super helpful from the early stages of selecting a new stone, through to the quality of workmanship and finally, with everything completed on time. My wife loved her ring which I presented back to her for our anniversary and it will be a treasured heirloom for many years to come. We absolutely recommend the custom, professional service provider here along with very reasonable pricing for the top quality craftsmanship provided.

These folks really know their craft passionately-well and really look after you. It's refreshing to interact with such a well run business. I went to them looking to have a custom engagement ring created, without really knowing anything about the process or knowing for certain what I wanted; only a rough budget and idea. They patiently guided me through the design phase and clearly explained the steps involved, both from their side as well as what was needed from me. Any of the many questions I had for them were answered promptly and confidently. The end result being a ring better than identical to what I had envisioned in my mind. What really stood out for me was their attention to detail and honesty with, well, everything. The best example I have of this is them pointing out and preemptively saying they would address some details in the metal model of the ring that may have made wearing it slightly uncomfortable for my now-fiance. Very subtle details that I would not have noticed without them mentioning it to me. Just goes to show their knowledge, honesty and professionalism. Overall the whole new-to-me experience was very comfortable and I genuinely feel they exceeded my expectations in creating a beautiful ring. An adjustment had to be made after all was said and done, and as aforementioned, they looked after me. I will not hesitate to give them my business in the future and will recommend them whenever asked. =)

I ordered a custom designed ring with a turquoise of my choice. I am more than happy and impressed with the amazing work that they did. The ring turned out much better than expected. Tom and his team are extremely skillful. The prices are also very competitive. I will definitely shop here again in the future if I am up for another piece of jewelry. Sophia is a great designed and very talented. My ring was not easy but these guys did a phenomenal job. I definitely recommend them over any big or famous company. I wish them continued success.

The best jeweller around. My fiance bought my engagement ring from Hempens and we are from Mississauga. When he told me I was surprised he went to New Market but when we went shopping for our wedding bands I immediately understood why. Tom, Kirsten and the team are absolutely amazing. They are tentative, listen to what you want and truly know what they are talking about. Amazing experience and I definitely will be back.

VIP all the way! I found the store from a brochure I got in the mail, what I liked about it is that they do custom design and that’s exactly what I needed. I had a design in mind but a tight deadline. Even though they explained they have few orders they are working on, I felt Tom and Sophia treated me as if I am a VIP from start to finish. Sophia worked with me to create my desired design digitally. She was really patient with me and my change requests until I was happy with the result. She took the time to explain me issues that may happen due to my specific change request, things I wouldn't have thought about. Also she gave ideas about elements I wasn't sure about. Tom explained me the process of creating a custom ring and kept updating me during the different stages of the production, I got to see how it looked like at each stage. While the ring was being made he helped me find the absolute perfect diamond, exactly the quality and size I wanted. Even though there was a slight delay with the diamond in customs, I got the ring right on time! At first I tried a well known large jewelry retailer by recommendation of a relative, but my emails would get blocked by their system and I didn't have time to spare. I'm happy it happened this way, otherwise I wouldn't have gone with Hempen. While Hempen were making my ring and we were waiting for the Diamond, I did go to that other retailer to compare prices. They didn't have the quality diamond I wanted and offered lower quality diamonds for much higher price! I would say 50% higher, no joke. I was very relieved, it gave me even more confidence in Hempen, I felt they gave me a very fair price! All in all, I'm super happy with the result and the personal touch I felt from them.
