the hostel has a cool layout with the terrace and the patio and the guys at the reception are nice. BUT: it's very dirty. They don't change the sheets of the beds after a guest leaves, the floors and beds are dirty and the toilet is quite unhygienic. IF they "clean", they just walk through the dorm and toilet with a mop once and call it a day because apparently it "looks clean". The 50€ per night are just too much for that.

Be careful if staying here especially if you are a person of color. At check in I was racially profiled by the employee at the front desk who demanded that I pay in cash instead of card & claimed it was because of an issue with the card reader while under his breath saying a few choice racist phrases in French assuming I wouldn’t understand him, only to process the credit card of next person immediately after me.

Overall good hostel! The staff was all very nice and welcoming. The rooms are cleaned everyday and the towels are replaced everyday which was nice. I definitely felt the hostel was clean. Also the beds were comfortable. The hostel is literally right across the train station so it’s the perfect location if you’re planning on taking day trips along the French Riveria. There’s a large kitchen with many fridges and freezers for storing food. There’s also a lot of different rooms to socialize which I loved. There’s an outdoor sitting area downstairs, 2 indoor sitting areas, and a large patio on the second floor. The hostel also serves free wine at 1900 which is super great and a great way to socialize! I’d definitely say this is a social hostel. Also there’s a free breakfast with coffee, cereal, and bread. It’s pretty simple, but it’s free so I can’t complain! The only negative to this hostel is the curfew. I almost didn’t stay here because of the curfew. The building is staffed 24/7 but you can’t get in between 3-6, it makes no sense. Overall though, good hostel and I would recommend to a friend.

Nice place for young people. Lot’s of small benefits - luggage room, padlocks, coffee and toasts for breakfast, lovely common terrace and well-equipped kitchen. I stayed both - in a common room with 3 more girls, and in a private room - I have nothing to complain about in both cases. AC. Worked properly all the time. Perfect option to those who are ready to take a walk to the beach.

I stayed here for four nights in August 2023. This was my first hostel experience and I was completely satisfied. The rooms were clean, the entire place was air conditioned, the other guests were very friendly. I was looking to save money on my trip and I got exactly what I what I paid for and what I was promised. I planned to visit different towns along the coast during my stay so the location was perfect and it is located directly across the street from the train station. Obviously I could have spent more and had better amenities but if you want to save money and stay at a safe clean location, I would recommend staying here.

The Hostel is right next to the train station. Very convenient if for example you are going to the Cannes Film Festival and don't have a place to stay in Cannes. Also the people working there are the greatest. I forgot a pair of shoes there and in a week I got them back with their help. Definitely going to go back there next time I'm in Nice.

The rooms are tiny and dark. Definitely not worth the price I paid. They do have air conditioning though which is good. Its also located less than 5 minutes away from the main station and tram stops. I rated it low because the reception staff are just horrible. Some other girls I spoke to in the hostel said the same thing. Everytime you approach them to ask a question, they get frustrated and respond in a very rude or sarcastic way. I was made to feel as if I shouldn't be there. This is wrong considering I paid for a room.

BEDBUGS Weird vibes from the place- bit run down and semi dystopian feeling. I am pretty sure my travel mate and I got bed bug bites from this hostel- as the bed was pre-made and we didn’t have any bites or spots before this stop. The rooms themselves were dark and awkward and semi cell-like. Free bread and cereal provided in the morning which was helpful for an early train ride but would not recommend otherwise.

The hostel was alright for our one night stay, but the hostel could use some love. The room was ok,would’ve preferred lockers in the rooms instead of the cages under the bed. The bathrooms and general floor of the room was a bit dirty upon arrival, like hair on the bathroom floor and dust under the beds and table. The common are outside was nice and we appriciated the AC in the room and that it was quite spacious for 4 persons! The general feeling is that the rooms need some renovation or updating, mostly the bathroom and walls of the room! I think that would make the stay at this hotel more eye pleasant! Curfew is a bit eh but i understand why it’s there.

A nice hostel which I stayed for 3 days. The location is near to Nice train station and beside the Main Street of Nice. The room is comfortable, air conditioned and clean. Free rose wine, red wine and chips are provided every day at 7 p.m. as Happy Hour.

Fantastic location, just across the road from the train station and on the tram line from the airport. The free breakfast was a treat: just bread and marmelade. The room I stayed in had no windows and an odd smell. Felt a bit like I was sleeping in a dungeon. Social atmosphere was good, the terrace was great for meeting new people. I would have like to have seen some organised activities from the hostel. Nice stay, but definitely overpriced for the quality of the room that I was staying in.

The hostels location is fantastic. So very close to the train, tram, bakeries, restaurants, waterfront, supermarketsupermarket and shopping stores. The hostel tries to make the environment one where you want to share with others and the private rooms are comfortable. Their winter room rates are certainly competitive. HOWEVER, their staff are quite unresponsive. It took 30 calls for them to pick up their phone over a week period. And their staff clearly dont seem inclined to assist with anything. And we had a very important letter which got sent to the hostel but it was delayed on arrival. On requesting that they forward it to a location within the country, and simply were told no without an explanation of why they couldn't assist with this. We also paid for a room upgrade but they refused to honor the deposit that we had already paid.

We stayed in a dorm and it was affordable, kitchen was open with all necessary appliances. There is a nice patio where you can have a dinner or beer with friends. It was quite and no street noise; AC in a dorm! We liked it.

Friendly staff. Great proximity to the train station. Just reopened to Covid19 and seems like they are doing some remodeling. Clean rooms and perfect for an affordable hostel stay.

Not allow the customers to pay by card on my check-in date, which forced me to run out to find a cash machine. It says the check-in time starts from 14.30 but the reception says it is 15.00. This wastes my time for waiting for check in. The bed and towel are not clear. There are trash on my bed and many hairs on the bed, duvet and towel

They cancelled my reservation two nights before I was about to arrive. Me and my friend were left stranded and had to look for a place last minute on airbnb. I wouldn’t trust them again. The phone number that I called answered after 8 calls over the time spam of an hour. The lady that picked up said “she couldn’t help us because she just works at the reception” and that we have to book it again even though there was no availability whatsoever. My reservation was canceled even though I got a confirmation email when booking it.

Great location which is very near to SNCF railway station and near to tram stop. Friendly staff who will help to pick location and suggestion on nearby places and trains. Following can be improved: 1. Bathrooms are very small and weird design where you cant wash your face in room 114 and all the water gets spilled on the floor because of mirror space. 2. Need to have option for card payments as well. Why only cash allowed?.

Worst hostel I’ve ever been to. The good things first: The people who work here are really nice, there’s free breakfast and the locations is good. The bad things: It’s not clean

Stayed here for a week and it was perfect. I don't like to optimize for hotels while traveling because I tend to spend so little time in them, but this means that you can really be rolling the dice as far as lodging is concerned. I booked a single room here and was not disappointed. First and foremost, the location is absolutely impossible to beat. You're walking distance from both L1 and L2 trams as well as a TER train station. Additionally, you're right next to Avenue Jean Médecin, which is a must-see. The Avenue also offers a direct walking (or short tram) route down to Place Masséna and Vieux Nice. The room itself was both clean and quaint. Free WiFi is offered. Towels are changed and trash is emptied daily. The staff was nice and helpful. Free breakfast is offered in the morning in the form of coffee and cereal, which I feel is pretty standard for most hostels I've been to. The hostel itself has a great terrace in between buildings where people like to meet, drink, and socialize. There are cool restaurants nearby, as well as a great bakery and a grocery store. The hostel also has a kitchen with shareable dishes, which we took advantage of for our wine. That being said, keep your expectations low: it is a hostel, after all. It's around 100 euro per night, so as long as you're not expecting the Hyatt or the Ritz, you should not be disappointed. Would highly recommend and definitely plan on coming back! Happily, Clayton Cohn

Really close to the station which is convenient for bag drops before travelling. Lovely staff (we were upgraded for free to a private room arrival). Pretty average kitchen but I think they include a free breakfast too

VERY GOOD PLACE FOR YOUNG TRAVELERS! We got UPGRADED for FREE!! Room was comfortable, but my towel replacement had a little SAUCE on it :(( (-1 star) Front desk employee was VERY NICE (get it?) and HELPED US when we needed him most!!! I will never forget the days!

it's OK - we stayed in a twin room and it definitely was not properly cleaned (dirty towels, dirty razor left on top of towel) but check in/out was super simple and location was excellent. we booked maybe 4 days in advance so can't complain all in all

The location of the hostel is nice since it is near the train station and has a grocery store right next door. The basement room I stayed in was a nice size but it was full of moisture and dust. I was having trouble breathing and was coughing a lot. The wifi does not work most of the time and in my room I had no service and couldn’t use my data. The floors of my room were very dirty and it lacks simple things like hooks in the washroom to hang a towel.

Great hostel, I stayed in a 4 bedroom. They let me leave my luggage since I couldn’t check in yet and provided a lock for €10 deposit. The room was air conditioned, the sheets and towel were clean, and it was quiet enough at night. The outdoor patio is a great place to hang out with your roommates or whoever you’re travelling with. Situated right next to the train station, a wonderful bakery, and mini grocery store. Easy streetcar/tram to the beach. Knocked off a star because they made me pay cash when online they allowed card (saw other reviews people said this was racial but I’m white so I’m not sure), my roommates said they could pay card. I’d stay there again and recommend it to anyone going to Nice!

Enjoyed the location, it was the best part of our stay. Room has everything you need, but is a bit run-down. Reception staff are very helpful. The upgraded our room to a private which was lovely. The kitchen is not good, it had the bare minimum. We enjoyed our stay but ate out every night because the kitchen was difficult.
