0 space in the rooms, you feel extremely claustrophobic. They close the lobby at 11 pm???? Which was extremely weird and means you can't meet people or hang out with friends. The rooms barely had enough room for multiple people to stand, so you couldn't have guests over. Not that you wanted to, because having a full room was little enough space that you felt suffocated. It was a room for four, and there was nowhere near enough space to have four suitcases in the room. There were no outlets in the bathroom, which was horrible for someone who needs to blowdry or straighten their hair - I had to dry my hair on my bunk bed. It really sucked. It was also very unclean. There was mold all over the shower, and half of the sliding doors didn't work. I work at a hotel, so I'm accustomed to certain cleanliness standards, and the sliding track for the shower had mold on it, as did the handles, and the ceiling. They weren't hard places to clean, they just hadn't been cleaned for long enough to allow for build-up (Noticed first day, we were there for two nights). Needless to say, I won't be going back.

Cheap hostel next to the train station and near the old town. Most of the attractions are near by. The rooms and bathrooms are bit small but that's ok. They have events are the bar on weekdays which can lighten up your evening.

Positive: 1- Excellent location near train station Nice Ville 2- Clean excellent 3- Customer service perfect . Very friendly team and efficient 4- Nice breakfast for 7€ 5- Free warm drink in the morning at the coffee machine. Accessible for everyone. 6- Microwave provided , you can heat your food! Negative: Space in room in very small Space of the individual beds is not high enough , one can feel claustrophobic. Advice : Open the window at night to have fresh air during the night. Special thanks : To Leila, Nathan and Aziz . They all provided me with excellent service. Aziz should really be given a special treatment: I saw him deal with difficult customers who were drunk . The hostel needs such a guy at night who remains calm and detached and can handle aggressive situations. Bravo !

I requested a bottom bunk. They confirmed it with me. A day before check in , I check in online, am assigned a bed. I email asking if the bed is a bottom bunk. It is confirmed to be a bottom bunk. I arrive and am told there are no bottom bunks available. How is this possible when I had 2 employees and the online system confirm. Since they gave my bed away I had to re check out/in the next day which caused me to lose practically a day of my trip. After confronting manager the next morning with photos of emails and online check in system, they later denied that I was ever assigned a bottom bunk. The shower was tiny and moldy. The common room has curfew which makes it harder as solo traveler to meet people. They were rude and cold to me the entire week I stayed since they had to refund me that first night due to their staff and online check in system being unorganized and false communications with me.

One of the nicest, cleanest and coolest stay at Nice. They have well maintained rooms to toilets. The breakfast spread is best, the reception was warm welcoming even at 2 am. So highly recommend this place ! Incredible i

Highly recommend! I stayed here for a week and had a very pleasant stay. The bathrooms were cleaned every day and the bunk beds had nice privacy. The water dispenser in the lobby is very useful!

➕Great location, great staff, rooms for 3/4 people with bathroom, nice breakfast, evenings’ entertainments. ➖No towels provided (you can only rent it for 5€ - I found it ridiculous) Not sure about how clean was my bed linens and if it is really changes especially for duvet. WiFi which doesn’t work in the room in the evening.

Small rooms but affordable and centralized location nearby Nice train station. Definitely a nice and clean hotel to stay to gain easy access (via train) to neighboring cities along the Cîte d’Azur. Also within walking distance to the tram. Front desk was also friendly and most of them were well versed in English which could be hard to come by in Southern France. Many restaurants in the vicinity. Would definitely recommend the Chinese restaurant next door called ‘China Town’ as it was one of the best tasting & authentic ones I had during my week’s trip to Southern France.

We absolutely love this place! Great location. Love the rooms and curtains around the bed. Everyone we had ever been in a room with was kind and thoughtful. Love that you can safely drop your bags before the 3p check in.

The best hostel in Nice. Unfortunately, it sells out really quickly. The staff are top notch. The rooms are clean. Love the privacy curtains and outlet for each bed. The location is right off Jean Medicin which you can use to walk straight down towards Old Nice and the beach.

I had pretty high hopes about this place because of the reviews, but I still managed to be surprised. The rooms are nice and tidy and seem pretty quiet too. The staff is friendly and helpful, and answer all of the silly questions I might have. Location is also great: everything is within walking distance and if not, there's a railway station and tram station just around the corner. I also loved that I could leave my bags to be stored until check in so I didn't have to carry them around all day! This place is affordable, and perfect for someone like me, who likes to spend the days exploring the city and needs a hotel room just to have a place to sleep and store luggage.

The price is reasonable. Free drink on the center area. Staff 24 hr and super friendly. I was in double room. The room is a bit small, but for me is fine compared with the price is worth.

Booked day before arrival. Excellent rate for central Nice and close to the tram. Room was clean as was bathroom. I was top bunk đŸ«€ but that’s what you get for booking last min. It was so high up they missed the Coke can in the net by my pillow which hadn’t been disposed of. Tricky to climb in but it was just for one night. Socket right by bed. Free ear plugs but I didn’t need them. Staff friendly. Breakfast area looked well stocked but left before service started. Close to a Lidl. Would recommend apart from the top bunk! 🙂

The room was really clean, and the people on the reception were really polite and ready to help. The breakfast was nice, and the times for breakfast were nice. If I had to think for something negative, I would say they used really heavily fragranced cleaning supplies. That was a little inconvenience to me. Otherwise, my stay was really pleasant overall.

One of the best stays I have ever had when traveling, perfect location, breakfast, community and generally everything. Staff was kind and helpful, the price was exceptional. The only thing I would change is that I would add a table or change the existing one to a bigger one and add 1 more chair to the room, but that's really cherry picking at this point.

Perfect experience! The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the common area is fun, with a nice breakfast each morning. The hostel crew arrange social events for guests to get to know each other, and everyone seems genuinely happy to be there. Awesome stay!

This is overall a pretty good hostel to stay in if you're in Nice. My biggest gripe is easily the 3-tier bunk beds and overall small rooms. I had a corner room with a cute little balcony to step out to, but otherwise having 3 people clambering up and down a single bunk bed is quite annoying, and the bathrooms are a tight squeeze too. The air conditioning was super helpful in the summer heat! This was definitely a very social hostel, and if you're looking to make friends, this is the place! Everyone was quite chatty and the pub crawl was definitely a great way to meet other travelers. The location is great, and the downstairs bar is pretty good too. If you can stand a tightly-squeezed room, this is a great place to stay! (also of note, they do not have a kitchen or fridge).

Our stay here was hit and miss. There was no lift when we arrived and the rooms are quite cramped. Breakfast selection, common area, and terrace need a revamp. However, the location is great as it is a walk from many great places around Nice including the train station. Also Julien was very helpful when we requested a room change.

Love this hostel! great location, super nice personal, rooms are cleaned every day, which is a big plus. I stayed in a mixed 4-beds room and Im happy about it. The only one thing, I would add a refregirator in a common zone and a place to cook

Stayed in a 6 bed room and happy to be on bottom bunk next to window. Clean room, good breakfast and a comfortable 6 nights! I usually stay in hotels but this was really cheap so took a chance based on other reviews and it was really good. Merci beaucoup :)

The shared dorms have tall roofs which makes them feel bigger and allows the 3 high bunk beds. The third layer is a little bit high for people who don’t like heights but feels sturdy and is relatively easy to get into and out of. There’s a guard rail to keep people who roll from falling as well. Fresh bedding is provided as well as lockers than can fit carry ons and backpacks with two extra unlocked slots for shoes and other less expensive items. Reception was very friendly and helpful with maps of the city and 24 hour assistance. The hostel is easy to get to with lots of transit near by as well as a police station in case you need it for whatever reason. The showers and bathrooms are only one room so if someone is showering you have to wait which is usually fine unless you have a bunch of people in the room at the same time.

I’ve stayed at this place for 5 nights and I know I couldn’t have chosen better. The hostel is located near the train station, so you have one min walk and then hop you go, and you can get wherever you want. Also, it’s relatively close to the Promenade des Anglais or in general, to anywhere. The stuff is really nice, always there to help you (even with your attempt to learn French - thanks Hugo ! ) People who come here are also open and nice - you can meet a lot of people with whom you can go out, talk, play ping pong or play other board games. My stay here was really pleasant and I really recommend coming here ;)

Clean and nice space. The single rooms in the attic are a little weird. The blinds we broken but the room was air-conditioned so it was ok. My main complaint is about their policy on early departures. I told them the day before (8pm?) that I didn’t want my final night (after two nights) and they said it was too late. In a normal hotel, this would have been fine I think. I could have had a nicer hotel for the same total price. Anyway, a good stay overall! Thanks!

Great accommodation! The hotel is just a few meters from the train station, ensuring great transport throughout the French Riviera. It is also close to several grocery stores. The rooms are nice and the hotel staff is very friendly. 😄

We had a stay for 5 nights , we took an 4 bed room ( family room ) it was very clean and pretty modern hostel and I have to say was the best price and cheapest in whole Nizza !! Hostel was FULL BOOKED which means they are great enough ! Staff in Hostel are very nice , willing to talk and help you with anything you need. For the very cheap price we had a breakfast included also , not a big choice for breakfast but for price what we paid i think its more then okay . Hostel is in very center of Nizza , very close to the main Train station about 3 minutes walk , and also about 10 minutes walk till beach Promenade des Anglais . If you dont have much space or dont know where to put your luggage there is also Luggage room so you can leave it in safe place . I will definitely come here again next year , since we all werw first time using a hostel like , for an Hostel is more then good ! we had a very pleasant stay and super location !!! There is no parking as its hard to find parking in whole city but i recommend Gare Thiers garage since its also cheapest and very close to hostel also . 5 stars from me and see you next year 🖐

I was in a 6-bed dorm. I was surprised by how clean everything was. The bed was made, very clean bed sheets. Big lockers to put your belongings. Bring your own locker. I stayed one night and the place (rooms and corridors) was very quiet at night. The bathroom was as clean as in a hotel room. The new rag with folded on the side. The floor, the sink, the toilet and the shower were very very clean, I was happily surprise for a backpack. Very good price. The reception is 24H/7 which is great. Great and free WIFI. Bring your own locker to avoid paying for one there. I recommend the place!

First time staying in a hostel (and travelling by myself) and couldn't recommend this place enough. Originally had booked for 3 nights but ended up staying 10! Amazing location - right next to the train (3 mins away) and the tram (7 minutes) which goes straight to the airport. I stayed in a girls dorm and was only staying with 3 other people. Nice social bar downstairs and staff very nice. In particular Dali was so so helpful, his recommendations were top class - he's a great friendly asset to the place!

I would definitely stay again. The hostel was very clean and had a friendly atmosphere. Its prefect for a solo traveller as I met some great friends at the bar activities in the evening who I spent the rest of my trip with. And check in/out was really quick and easy thanks to the reception staff. Overall a great experience’

Hotel for a good price, great area to stay in Nice, there is a Train station and plenty of restaurants nearby. Breakfast is not great not terrible. Beach is 20 minutes walking. Friendly staff who is always willing to help, they even let us stay before check in.

During my trip in the south of France ( what a wonderful place by the way) Nice was a must to do for me. Fortunately, one of my Friend had already been in Nice and he recommended me the Ozz hotel (best quality/price ratio in Nice). After a tough COVID period, what a pleasure to spend time in a hotel with a kind and lovely staff! They are very polite and very helpful. If you are travelling by foot like me, you won't find a better hotel in Nice! You have the train station and a tramway nearby.

  • 5/5 Rod C. 1 year ago on Google
10/10 recommend. Adel and Hannah made my stay at hostel ozz more comfortable and enjoyable. They have an event everyday and A great bar/lounge/game area. Located really close to the train station and a great base to be in Nice, France!

Dali was very nice and super helpful and did his best to make the stay good and welcoming. The common area was very nice and a good place to hang out. They have games for us and we enjoyed those while grabbing some great drinks from the bar!

Amazing people, very helpful staff. They were extremely accommodating and I had a wonderful time at the hotel. I also loved their bar and they had so many fun activities for each night of the week. It was a great stay.

Stayed for 3 nights. The rooms can be small but I didn't mind since I only came in to sleep. The breakfast I liked the most. It didn't change each day, but really liked the quality they were offering, fresh croissants , good coffee etc. It can be a bit noisy( depending on other people that are booked), the beds and pillows where confortable. The room even had a minifridge. Overall I very much enjoyed staying here.

  • 4/5 Riddhi M. 1 year ago on Google
The pros: Awesome location Budget rooms Great common area Everyday room and bathroom cleaning A lot of extra activities Bachata nights on Sundays Cons: The beds have wooden frame, so anybody turning on the lower bunk will shake the whole bed. So ask for lower bunk. No kitchen. Not even small kitchenette or refrigerator. There is a microwave but it is only usable if you have ready to eat containers . The staff might need more training. There was only 1 staff member who had all the information needed and he was really nice. He gave all the information regarding tours and where to book and what to see (unfortunately I forgot his name). The rest of the staff didn't even know that guests could book tours at reception. All in all, it's quite decent with a tiny scope of improvement.
