Simply beautiful! The American breakfast in the lobby was perfect. AMERICAN 'S.....BRING YOUR OWN WASHCLOTH.. They don't provide them. Other than that...bed was comfy, room was clean, view to beach AMAZING, bar and restaurant were all OUTSTANDING!

Being that this is a prestigious, relatively expensive, 4-star hotel, I think we were expecting a lot when we booked a room at the Westminster. This was a splurge for us and unfortunately, we did not feel that it was worth it. The rooms were clean (albeit slightly dated), the beds were comfortable, and the location is great. However, on our first night there, we discovered that our shower was backed up and draining water all over the bathroom floor. When we called the front desk, we were told that we would have to wait until the morning for maintenance to take a look. I told the front desk that unfortunately this was not possible as we were leaving early the next morning for the whole day. I asked if we could be put in another room with a working shower, but we were told there were no other rooms available. I decided to walk down to the front desk to see if there might be a solution. After waiting in the lobby for 30 minutes, magically, another room was found. While this was certainly appreciated, I'm not sure why this wasn't offered to us when I asked earlier. I do not feel that we were asking for anything unreasonable - a working shower is expected in a 4-star hotel - yet the initial response seemed inappropriate, in my opinion. No apology was offered for the dysfunctional shower, and I was confused by the argumentative nature of the conversation. It felt to us more like "That's too bad, you'll have to wait," rather than "Sorry about this, let's get you into another room." Very surprising.

I made a reservation for this relative more expensive hotel, because they claimed they have spa and promoted it. But when i checked in, they told me that i need to make a reservation at the spa reception counter. And the reservation needs to be made 3 - 4 in advance, otherwise there is always fully booked. It is out of seasons now, and the hotel room is not fully booked. I do not know how can it happen like this. And they even didn’t inform me before if the spa needs to be booked several days before. It is really a big scam.

I had a terrific experience here. I got here hours earlier than expected due to a flight change, and they were able to get my room ready in an hour, while they let me sleep on a comfy couch in a lounge area. The people at the front speak a few languages, and the breakfast buffet was surprisingly impressive and leaned more toward a British style, with French pastries. The location is essentially "on the strip" or "on the promenade," so the views cannot be beat. You can walk to plenty of locations here with ease, including the highly recommended farmers' market nearby. Their is also a spa sort of in the basement, where I had a thorough scrub down and got to enjoy a small, but beautiful series of pools/heated rooms. The hotel interior is beautiful, but is also dated, for those who are looking to stay somewhere trendy and modern, it is not optimal. But for those who want a really affordable place to stay on the main drag, with reliable service, great views, older, beautiful furniture and accents, and helpful staff (they got us a cab to the train!), this is a great choice.

The hotel rooms were very nice and the location is lovely. Do be careful if you eat in the restaurant-Le Duc. Three of us had the same dinner and all three became very ill. It was most likely spoiled meat. It ruined several days of our stay, we could not leave our rooms and doctoring after our return. When I told the hotel staff there was not much reaction. Do not have the Tapas menu in Le Bar! We ordered the Chef’s mixed choice and were confronted with 25€’s worth of batter and breadcrumbs thrown into a bowl without a hint of greenery. Clearly straight out of a freezer and into a deep fat fryer. You get a variety of 3 with the prawn and chicken options missing. Too much batter, too much American gooey horrible cheese. Strongly advise you to try something else. Good place to sit though when cold- behind panoramic windows watching the world go by.

We booked this hotel via Amex points and from the pictures on the credit card site it looked perfect. When we arrived we were excited for the great location but upon entering our room we were so disappointed. Best way to describe it: a grandma’s apartment that hasn’t been updated or renovated in 40 years. Our “city view” window looked into a neighboring apartment’s hoarder balcony. The toilet was in a hallway closet across from the shower/sinks. There were stains all over the ceilings, no water pressure in the shower, stains all over the carpets, and lastly the furniture was so cheap and worse looking than IKEA. We called the reception and asked if we would switch rooms and would happily pay for an upgrade to which they responded they had no rooms available. Fast forward to the next day when we decided to checkout early and move to a different hotel we were told that we were already in an upgraded room. This detail had never been mentioned when we booked the room, checked in, or requested a new room. So it felt like we were being lied to, throughout our short stay. The different bits of information that didn’t really add up. An “upgraded” room from the caliber our room looked was quite a surprise and pretty doubtful. You definitely could get a nicer hotel for the same price or cheaper. Keep looking elsewhere.

Perfect stay in Nice. Loved it, located right on the Promenade des Anglais and the view from the room was best in Nice, we booked a junior suite with balcony and it was our best stay of the tour. Staff is helpfull and polite, room and bathroom are spacious. Bus stop is right on the door step, old nice is about 10mins walk, Nice train station about 12-15 mins walk. Overall if you want to explore Nice and nearby towns, this is the Hotel for you.

Where do I begin. We were given a handicap room and we are not. The bath tub was so slippery that I hurt my foot when I slipped. We did not have a luggage rack until the day before we left. The maid service STOLE our souvenir cups and programs from the Monaco Grand Prix from our room and souvenir lighter and cutter. Room service was horrible. The room did not stay cool. I recently stayed for 3 nights at the Westminster Hotel in Nice with my wife and my son Harry. The hotel is in the perfect position right on the seafront and within easy walking distance of everything. The staff were all very helpful and a special thanks to Claire in the Spa for staying on late so that Harry could have a swim, it was so thoughtful. The hotel is very clean, with great rooms and an exceptional breakfast. I have no hesitation in recommending this hotel very highly.

The hotel adversities itself as spa, but even as a client of the hotel, one has to pay 25 eur per hour to enter the spa. In the gym, 2 out of 3 cardio machines didn’t work. We have chosen a city view room and what we got is a view to a backside of another building. I think you can get a better quality of hotel for this price.

Wow a fantastic hotel in a fantastic location. We had a city view room with balcony which had views of the snow capped mountains in the distance! A 15 minute walk from the airport tram stop or the buses stop along the promenade. The old town and a vast array of restaurants are ten minutes walk down the road. Staff were very friendly and professional and the little bar was great for sitting and watching the sea - the red wine is delicious too. Comfy beds, toiletries provided in the rooms really did make for a great stay.

Run from here unless you want to be robbed. Edit to respond to the hotel's response: ask any of the 4 staff members present when I originally reported the incident as a potential misunderstanding but then was met with a refusal when I requested that I be taken to my items to retrieve them. Also ask either of the two staff members present at checkout when I learned that nothing was communicated to them and I had to explain the situation once again, after which they also did nothing to resolve the situation. Un balcón espectacular la habitación con techos altos y la atención del personal una de las mejores ( nos tuvieron mucha paciencia) ya que llegamos de la playa empapados llenos de arena a las 3 o 4 am y siempre ellos nos recibieron con una sonrisa. Hasta nos permitieron bailar en el gran salón. Los desayunos muy buenos . Al igual que el servicio de estacionamiento. De seguro se merecen las 5 estrellas. Recomendados. Cubrieron nuestras expectativas. Espero volver a visitarlos! 🦾
