Gave birth here and all the staff and doctors were amazing! The NICU did an excellent job taking care of my baby too. Plus they have fantastic food you can get 24/7!

Brought 2 kids up to meet their new sibling. Tanya at the front desk is the worst customer service I’ve experienced in years. She has no business working customer service as the first impression you meet upon arriving. Based on her rudeness and unprofessional actions I told my family I will never come to this hospital again for anything!! My husband, son and grandkids felt the same way. This hospital is willing to put the worst, rudest lady, Tanya at the door for your first impression, I could only imagine what’s inside. I asked for a supervisor to make them aware and they were uninterested in speaking to me. BEWARE of their customer service!!!

If you are not a young person having a baby, I wouldn’t bother with the “women’s health” bs they advertise. I attempted to ask a question via phone at the er so that I would not cause more unnecessary backup. I’m also a healthcare provider, but have had several menopause & hormone related issues for months. I’ve been unable to see a physician, including my own. After 48 hours of intolerable pain, pressure, infection, & bleeding that began middle of night on holiday Friday of a weekend, they were “too busy” to ask the questions or listen to the issue to determine if they would admit me through the ED/ER. I am now going to a different system for emergency assistance and will never attempt to use this facility again. I will advise all women I know above the age of actively attempting pregnancy to do the same. Hopefully that will help the situation for others there. I would suggest better phone etiquette for distressed, bleeding from pelvic people in emergency situations and I suspect if I would’ve had my husband call instead of me, a different response would’ve been given. Having recently (1 month ago) watched how my son’s girlfriend was treated there while in labor and delivery, it was sickening as well, but pretty par for the course of the healthcare system in Omaha. For that situation, I was just glad they didn’t cause permanent damage to mom or baby with the inconsistency of care. Trust me, everyone that works in patient care is busy, more so than ever, stressed, and many other things. Rude & dismissive to patients in need of help because you think you’ve monopolized one market in one town is a terrible healthcare practice.

Had my daughter here. Got a bill that said she was vaccinated, when we had refused and signed all paperwork. Wrote a letter and called serval times and no one will get back to me to clarify if she did in fact get the shot or not. Then I went for my postpartum apt where I was literally breastfeeding my newborn. I needed an antibiotic and the doctor called one in. Zero instructions. Luckily I checked the insert of the medicine and learned that you can’t breastfeed at all while taking medication. Kinda ridiculous that your doctor would prescribe you that and not warn you when you are there because you just had a baby.

My daughter just gave birth there and her nurse named Bonnie is just the absolute best ever! She's making my daughter's stay so wonderful! Thank you so much for helping my grandson into the world ❤️❤️❤️❤️

My daughter gave birth here. The doctors and nurses were ALL AMAZING! The low review is because of the lady who works doing the birth certificate information. She is very condescending, very rude, very unprofessional, and has no business working any type of customer service job. She clearly hates her job and should find a new one.

(Edit)I am never gonna come back here after this experience. It was horrible I felt dismissed every ti.e I addressed a concern and no matter who I addressed it too. I was in pain. For weeks and not even given the real time of day to be checked and turns out I had an infection that entire time. I had to be seen at a separate hospital before anyone would even listen to my concerns. They have made my experience terrible and after I unfortunately have to keep visiting them I don't plan on going back. Please get care from people who will really listen to your health problems.

I recently just had an emergency c-section and all the doctors and nurses were absolutely amazing!! They listened to my concerns and were on top of the call light whenever i needed anything! My sons drs are all amazing and i cant thank you all enough!! Only problem I had while i had my stay there was the lady who did the birth certificate. My boyfriend just started a new job and had to go into work she was very snobby and rude that he was gone 2 days in a row and that i didnt have my ID. While i live an hour and a half away it makes it difficult to come up every day. I insisted i wanted my sons father on the birth certificate and she gave me attitude and sighed heavily and insisted on submitting it. She submitted it without my ID and without my consent. Now i gotta go to the courthouse and amend the birth certificate just to add his father. She clearly doesnt like her job Just a hassle i shouldnt have ti deal with. Other than that it was an amazing experience and all the drs and nurses are and were exceptional!!

The cat scan lady I had today was very rude and be careful when you have a doctor put orders in and you should up to have test done they don’t know where to find it . Really sad what the health care is coming to these days.

Ectopic pregnancy removed by my Dr in 2016. Top notch care and everyone was so kind. Nurse Steve was very kind. Last few times I was sent for blood work. There was a man asleep at the "greeting/receptionist" desk. Who sleeps at their desk at 3pm? Usually there are very nice ladies who greet me and help me where to go. 2 times and he's SLEEPING!? A nice lady to the "right" kinda in her own office called me over and told me where I needed to go. She did not look pleased at a sleeping grown man. First time....okay.....two...really!? Thanks to all of the kind staff!

Everyone on here with them same problem about the people working here. A month ago ambulance rushed me here to be seen from severe pain. In tears from pain the put me in a room to sit on the floor. When you complain it looks like the owner like la to send you to an email address where you can talk in private. What for? Look at all the reviews from todays date and 6 months back. They are bad reviews! So please tell me you are doing something to fix the problem. Or is this email address you send us to to talk about such issues just a way to make you look like you care? I don’t think so

My girlfriend and I just had a baby over the weekend there and I just can’t say enough good things about everyone there who looked after us! Everyone was so caring and nice and willing to help with anything and everything. Everyone was just so polite and understanding it made the whole experience so nice. Kassidy, Maranda, Leah (There were more people I just can’t remember everyone’s name lol) were just amazing and I can’t say enough good things about the staff.

Made my wife sit in waiting room for 3 hours! 5 other patients who showed up after, were given rooms. I know it is by symptoms but my wives was worse than shortness of breath and migraine patients. Also they talk so loud I heard info of patients which I thought was against the law.

Have visited Methodist Women’s Hospital on multiple occasions. I have always had good experiences. Directory staff, receptionist, techs and doctors are always helpful and friendly. I feel they are thorough and always do their best to cover all the basis.

This is a mixed review because the stay in the hospital for delivery was great other than one very loud and rude night nurse 1 night. The food is very good, the l&d nurses are awesome. The er dr was dismissive and ignored what I was telling them. They acted like they knew my body better than me. They also gave me more fluid when I was retaining fluid from delivery that made the issue worse and I ended up needing another hospital stay 2 days later when my body was going in to crisis. That hospital stay was okay except for a complete lack of communication in the beginning, way too many residents and drs in and out and the nurse putting a way too large IV in my hand because that's what she had in the drawer. So I'd definitely recommend the hospital for having a baby but I'd avoid the ER

I delivered two of my daughters here and had a great personable experience both times. The nurses were great. They were very respectful, educated, and reassuring. The food was also good which is a huge plus.

Dr. Sarah Hansen at Methodist Women's Hospital is absolutely amazing! She's not only incredibly knowledgeable, but also caring and compassionate. She takes the time to listen to your concerns and provides personalized care. I highly recommend her for any women's health needs. She's a true gem I’ve had two babies earth side and three miscarriages and I’m hoping I can use her again in the future with my rainbow baby 👩‍⚕️❤️

Me and my wife just had our first baby delivered at Methodist Women’s. The whole process went very smooth, and we could not have asked for a better experience with our first baby. Throughout the process, the entire staff was professional and genuinely cared about my wife and baby’s needs. The overnight nursery was also very helpful for my wife to get some rest. Thank you Methodist Women’s!

Dr Allison Phillips is amazing and is the only person I will trust to bring any of my children into this world. Also, all the ladies in labor and delivery are so great at what they do. Specifically Brandi and Sara made our experience so nice!

Less than a week ago, I visited this ER with severe abdominal pain. Initially, the physician yawned, interrupted me and was clearly annoyed that I hadn't brought a list of my medications with me. He also expressed frustration over my medical records from other facilities being inaccessible. However, when he came back to my room with my CT Scan results, he was very pleasant...almost giddy. The nurse who took care of me was top-notch. Not only did she ask me which arm I wanted her to put the IV in, she started it in that exact vein I pointed to--and it was 99% painless the entire 3 hours I was there. She was empathetic, professional and very thorough.

I had a very bad experience at this hospital for my first pregnancy. I never felt good leaving any appointments I had went to. I had to switch providers after 21 weeks. Very sad to say my entire experience here was very disheartening and disappointing with the the care that I had received.

The nurses here are so kind and caring, but if I could make one suggestion it would be for the postpartum appointment to be sooner than 6 weeks. Postpartum preeclampsia can happen up to 6 weeks so I don’t understand why we wait until after those 6 weeks for a follow up? Thank you all for the hard work!!

FAIL in e/r. Went out of my way to this WOMENS hospital hoping to get care we as women deserve (as we are often ignored). While they were very quick to get me in and start working on me (I had a pain in the center of my chest for about 10 hours at this point) that is where the care ended. They did not take a full history or get a full list of the medications I am on. They asked me no questions about family history, if myself or others had chest/heart issues etc. We do in my family. Asked no personal questions that could've led up to pain. I was left alone for about 30 minutes while waiting on a test result. No one checked on me even though machines were going off most of the time. I found that a lead came off and stayed off. Came back with results. No diagnosis and free to go. I said I had felt worse and didn't know if I would make it across lot to my car. Dr came back in, patronized me once while I was crying and said I should be happy that I got seen and released so fast because if I went anywhere else I'd still be in the waiting room. true story. Went to my Dr next day for follow up and she had to send me for another test that she couldn't believe they didn't do at the e/r....so I had to pay extra for that. Will never return. Hope I never get in an accident to where they are they closest hospital.

I had a wonderful experience in this hospital. The post-op inpatient care was phenomenal. Thank you to everyone involved especially Dr. Delaney and my nurse Olivia (on the 4th floor). Olivia is very good at her job and has a heart that genuinely cares. She made me feel good during my recovery and it’s such a joy to have a nurse like that. She is amazing. Thank you very much!

By far the best experience I’ve ever had in an emergency room. Fantastic staff. So thankful this facility is in the west side of town.

I went in for a 15 min outpatient surgery and they found a surprise which lead to a 2 hr surgery and overnight stay. Large, nice room and bathroom. Everything was nice and clean and modern. Awesome food, when I felt like eating. And the staff was always friendly and helpful. Couldn’t have asked for a better hospital experience.

I am beyond upset at the OB Jacoby I believe her name was im currently pregnant with my third child I moved from Lincoln to Omaha, with my husband and kids and decided to go to this place for this pregnancy first day the people at the deck are amazing don’t get me wrong I did blood boom but when I got home and got the called I was told my levels are going down and I’m going to have a miscarriage and start bleeding soon I was frantic confused all of the above Few moments later, I got a callback from her laughing saying that she read the wrong results, and the baby was OK but she would like me to come in for another blood And of course I did, but when I did so two days later I get the call from her again saying something doesn’t seem right my levels are not OK I did another one as well as an ultrasound. Because they thought the baby was in my tubes and not my uterus did the ultrasound the egg/sac, or exactly where they’re supposed to be and it’s healthy I go down to her office afterwards. She tells me somethings not right, and this maybe a results. To a miscarriage. Again, bad news she told me to repeat it the next week. I did so came back. Did an ultrasound did a blood test again didn’t see Baby came back down to her office. She told me I had a miscarriage she said my babies gone. They have no heart rate all 9 yards and scheduled me for a D&C and something didn’t feel right to me because with every blood test my levels were still going higher, but not at the rate she wanted Today I went to Lincoln back to the OB office. I went to normally and he flat out told me I’m OK he checked my OB levels. They were 13,000 I’m OK. My child is OK I did not have miscarriage I’m just earlier than I thought and he told me in her notes that my sack was completely healthy and nothing was wrong besides of her fear of my levels are not going higher then she wanted Of course, when I found this out, I was hysterical because I thought I lost my baby I was scheduled for surgery, Wednesday aka tomorrow I’m extremely concerned because she made a comment saying she had to do a D&C on someone that day, as well as another one on Wednesday besides me and my concerns me is that are they really bad pregnancies or are they actually healthy like me? I explain to her in numerous occasions that I was not bleeding nor was I cramping And she did not decide to listen to me, but decide to schedule something that can harm my child that is healthy I am beyond. Disgusting. And disappointed. As well as concerned. That she is, or may do this to other patients. And they may not think about getting a second opinion like I did, I am completely then I would have no baby tomorrow My advice to everybody that has been told that. By this doctor, or any else, please get a second opinion. I would hate for you to see and ignore it

I had a very bad experience at this hospital for my pregnancy. I felt like my doctor would dismiss my concerns and questions. Which had left me to go to the ER several times. I had switched providers after 18 weeks only to show up to the appointment and get turned away because they had left for a meeting. Sad to say my entire experience here was very disappointing and I won’t be coming back.
