Worst hospital ive ever seen, unprofessional, and dangerous providers, who ignored my patients rights. Was admitted on the 29th for mental health crisis. Arrving at the ER the doctor says, "i am not a psychologist but I am here to help" he asks if i have any diagnoses i tell him aspergers and he gets agressive, flusterd, and angrily snaps "YOU DO NOT HAVE ASPERGERS!!!! (Yes the docotor who ive known for 2 minutes, and claims not to be a mental health doctor is contradicting years of treatment) He then starts talking about medications, which i point out that medications go against the DSM5 recommendations, he then leans in and under his breath starts threatening me, so blatant was the threat that a cop stepped in a inturpurpted him. There were half a dozen things Seriously wrong with this hospital. And when I pointed them out the police would say they understand they know the hospital is going against common medical practices, but they are a religious hospital who puts faith over there patients health. While there I request a patient advocate 4x, and never recived it, they gave me the phone number but they haven't returned my call. I left a message with the Grievance department, And I have not heard back from them. I would not trust this hospital to save a single life, but i would trust them to allow a girl with hiv, and open wounds to come into my room and piss everywhere beacuse they did exactly that. Very biggoted staff.

Felt like I was an inconvenience, felt like they rushed. I was back in a different emergency room (which i went to another hospital and they were amazing) 2 days later because my condition worsened after my diagnosis from them. Definitely could be kinder, more attentive, and I was told they don't even have pillows to lay ur head on in the emergency room beds. And my neck and head were in so much pain. I love the specialty doctors there but the emergency room needs a major overhaul and I hope to never find myself back there..

The nurses and Dr. in the ER were all very helpful and great! I am always uneasy to go to ER and had to go alone and felt horrible but they made my experience the best it could be.at the ER. Thankful to have good nurses there and a Dr. that shows concern and care. Good bedside manner + Smart healthcare team= Happy Patient!

Do not go here for mental health care!! I went to the ER for a mental health emergency. They asked a few questions and checked my heart rate and blood pressure before sending me back to the psychiatric area of the ER and told me a psychiatrist would come and meet with me. After waiting for about an hour, we asked when the psychiatrist was coming and were told that he doesn’t do his rounds until 9 am. I was then told that I would have to stay overnight until I could see him, otherwise I would be put on a medical hold and lose the rights to make my own medical decisions. So they put me in a room and left me alone for 24 hours. No one ever inspected or treated the physical injuries I came in with, and the doctor did not show up at 9am as promised. I spend the day begging to talk to a doctor, psychiatrist, therapist, or any medical professional to no avail. Finally they took me out of the ER and to the inpatient psychiatric wing. There, I still had to wait another 24 hours before I could talk to a doctor. When I finally met with him, he spent very little time with me and didn’t listen to any of my concerns. They then held me over the weekend because the doctors don’t work weekends, so I was told I had to wait it out until Monday, despite me reiterating that I was having severe anxiety about being there. I know this protocol is meant to keep people safe, but the lack of communication and lack of care is absolutely unacceptable. The only redeeming quality about this place is the nurses. They were wonderful and the only ones who genuinely care about their patients and their recovery.

I left work to go to the ER due to severe pain and stiffness in my neck/back. Signed the check in chart at 10am! Sat in waiting room and was never called back until 530pm!!! And still didn't get a room, was sat in a hallway with curtains!!!! The doctor was great and he was the only positive experience, he helped me and tried to speed things up for me given he just found out i was for there for 8 hours!! Left at 645pm!!!!!!!

Immanuel is the hidden gem Hospital of Omaha. The care there is great. Staff is friendly, thorough, and knowledgeable. My mammo tech, Jamie was super efficient and very kind.

Went for my annual Mammo exam and was greeting with a smile from receptionist. Check in time was within seconds and to exam room. Room was clean and orderly. The tech was polite, friendly and gentle when maneuver body. Exam completed, no paperwork to sign and home to my family. Thanks again.

If my pet needed care, I would not take it here. I made the mistake of coming here suspecting I'd had a stroke. I've been here 4 days thus far and my blood pressure has been over 200 at least 5 times. I, not being a Rocket scientist or a brain surgeon can figure out that something with my medicine needs to be changed. I will drive to either Bellevue Med Center or Lakeside next time. Horrible care. Update: I had another high BP reading and had to wait over an hour to be treated. When I came to the regular floor from the ER after having a stroke, I had to wait over an hour to bo hooked up to a BP monitor. I asked for a different Dr. The new Dr made changes to my medicine but never introduced himself to me or even asked if I had any concerns. I know, too busy for your patient, right? Guess who came in today? The Dr that I no longer wanted to treat me. My only question was, "Can you discharge me today?". He started talking about the social worker sending me to a facility and it's the weekend now. It wasn't the weekend two days ago, When I initially asked. People do die in hospitals; I only want people to realize that inferior care can be a reason for some of those deaths. Can their care really be this awful, or is it because I'm of African and Native American descent?

A friend of mine was brought in by squad and they had him waiting in the lobby for over an hour for a room. He was admitted due to 2 hernias with 1 of them strangling his bowels. After surgery being hooked up to IVs he would press the nurse call button and would have no response for well over 15 minutes. The poor man had to lay there in BM cuz the nurses obviously don't pay attention to their call lights or alarms on the IVs. I am sorry but I don't feel there is any reason for the nurses to take so long to respond to the alarms or the nurse call buttons.

The man at the front desk was extremely rude.. I understand they are overworked but the nurse was extremely rude to my daughter twice and my daughter chose to leave rather than have treatment from her. Probably won't come here again will have to drive further for medical service.

This hospital is the worst hospital I have ever been to… I took many patients to this hospital to ER, they made us wait for four hours long. Patients could have died in these lengthy period. Besides, front desk old lady is so rude… The way she talked to us, looked at us…drives me crazy. CHI Immanuel has to improve in every aspects in order to provide a better service to community. Going to this ER was amost like going to hell. Just imagine, making very serious patients for such a lengthy hours. I am left so frustrated with they care and service… It makes me feel like they are heartless….

ER is a joke. Sat forever while my bf bled profusely from a work injury. We were told that they were waiting to move people to the upstairs. Kids running around all over coughing, they definitely don't treat first based on what the reason for visit is. Finally left after an hour of waiting and bleeding through bandages and clothes. Went to an emergicare and was seen and given stitches right away because of the severity of the injury.

I have NEVER been treated soo badly by a triage nurse. I was an LPN and had I treated a patient the way she treated me I would have lost my job.. Rude and no bedside manners at all. The lab Tech was amazing and the doctor was amazing as well..

I was shockingly disappointed with my last ER stay. Usually I am pleased with Immanuel and that is my hospital of choice. I am thinking about revisiting that in the future. Total lack of attention while I was there. I realize they were busy but to be there for over four hours with very very little interaction between a nurse or a doctor was very disappointing. I kept begging to go home, because my time was being wasted, and no answers to be found.

My doctor, Dr. Adrienne Perfilio is wonderful. She used active listening to understand my health symptoms and concerns. I trust her to find the best options to solve my problems. I definitely recommend her and will continue seeing her as long as she is available.

My knees. Daniel in the aquatic program has literally changed my life! He taught me so much! I am back in my garden, back to enjoying life. Literally running up and down stairs and the weight keeps coming off. I learned so much from him and will incorporate those lessons everyday for the rest of my life! I am in my pool doing the lesson plan he printed and laminated for ME for an hour or two every day, plus what I have learned on my own. I am now addicted to working out!!! EVERY aspect of my life has improved!!! THANK YOU DANIEL!!!!! Words cannot describe what YOU have done for me and my family!!!!! Forever grateful!

I got treated very well the only issue I saw was it took forever to get in but they were really busy that save that day. Once I got in the doctor didn't take long to see me. I felt very comfortable there they're and they make sure to take kit kid care of me.. Every time I've been to that emergency room the last the last time the doctor was awesome and so were the nurses so I the nurses so I've never had a bad experience going to Emmanuel hospital.

Great service besides having a male nurse come in while your only in a rob and yank the blankets off you with the door open for everyone too see. Felt that was rude after I told him hold on some privacy would be nice I don't have nothing on under. Nope ripped it off and was super rude.

Unless you are visibly bleeding from multiple holes in your body or on the verge of literal death you will be waiting in the ER room for hours to be seen. Rather it be a staffing problem or a an urgency problem they have yet (for years now) to rectify the extreme wait times. I have been a patient here well over 8-9 times my shortest wait period has been maybe an hour and a half and on the day of this review I have waited in the ER lobby well over 4 hours. It’s unprofessional and down right seems uncaring.

CHI repeatedly will harass you for any unpaid balance regardless of when the last payment was made by you or your insurance. They are constantly calling me for a literal $80.10 bill that is 60 days old and insurance has made their payment within the last <30 days. It's beyond absurd that and they contract now with a company in the PHILLIPINES to harass you about your bill. Don't get me started on the hospital. There are good people there of course, but the ER is a complete joke and 99%of the time overwhelmed........unless you are truly "dying" be prepared to sit hours and hours to be seen. I could go on and on but it's pointless. The US is becoming a 3rd world country for healthcare and I say this as I have excellent health insurance, it's the facilities and the corporate game of it. Take your loved ones somewhere else.

The attention and care I received from the ER staff was positive, professional, compassionate, and cheerful. You are to be commended for a high quality staff at the ER. Nurse Mark was amazing, he was very caring and sweet. He knew what he was doing and was so helpful. He always give me an update on what’s going on and what should I expect. If I am ever in need while I am visiting, I would come here again.

These people are an absolute joke. It's no wonder why I had such a poor experience at this place. The Psychiatrist I spoke with, seemed professional. I will give him that, however, I had to correct him about something which was quite important, when he attempted to question me about what I'd just told him not even a minute prior. Instead of prescribing medications that I'd taken for years, he seemed to be more interested in using me as a guinea pig to experiment on. This is not the clinic that I've gone to for many years. The reason being, these people took over the smaller clinic that I used to visit. During the years I attended that smaller clinic, I went through what could only be described as hell, while my Psychiatrist and I ,tried different combinations of medication, until we finally found a formula that helped. However, despite having all of these records provided to them, they are the bigger company which consumed the smaller clinic, they seem hell bent on putting me through hell all over again - while they make me go through the entire process again 12 years later. The many excuses I were given as to why they wanted to go this route, made no sense whatsoever. There has to be some sort of incentive given to this company, by the pharmaceutical company who produces the drugs they're attempting to prescribe. That is the the only way to make sense of why they refused to prescribe medication that I've taken for years. At the end of the visit, I was bluntly told by David Wilton's supervisor, to go to another clinic, because they don't prescribe those medications there. I find it very hard to believe that Ambien isn't prescribed there. I believe I just didn't fit their personal criteria of someone they would help. I however did fit the criteria for a guinea pig. Not to mention, the medication that they did prescribe, will lower my blood pressure to an unsafe level, due to the fact that I am already on hypertension medication. How helpful could this be?

Needed help with my mental health, did get it. Nurses were not great but did still receive good care from other staff. Recommend it for mental health care. Molly

The care is excellent. Thoughtful, thorough. They’re wonderful. No complaints there. I only wish they wouldn’t call and leave a message from the financial offices telling me how urgent it is I call them after they’ve closed on a Friday. Drama and stress. Did I forget to pay or something? I have no bad records with them and feel like I’m being treated poorly in that respect.

I was admitted to the youth’s psych ward for 5 days and it sure as hell didn’t help my mental health. The beds were uncomfortable so I got no sleep, the showers were weirdly pressurized, half the bathrooms didn’t have soap, the food sucked except for the lasagna, the staff was alright I guess? They didn’t seem fully equipped for the situations but some of them were nice. There weren’t any super terrible problems with them, but they didn’t help and some seemed a lil harsh for no reason. I did enjoy playing uno though.

I have nothing good to say about this hospital. I had a very traumatic experience during my stay here, which almost resulted in me losing my life. My recommendation for you and your family is to find another hospital. I had to leave this hospital, because I did not feel safe. I had several people witness the mismanagement of my care.

Great care but absolutely WRETCHED billing experience. Went in for a wellness exam and a couple counseling appointments. Have literally spent HOURS on the phone with their billing vendor because I was proactive and paid through my insurance website's payment processor. Of course they did not to apply the payments properly, and had multiple "guarantor IDs" which no one EVER told me about. Missing monies, automatic installment plans and no paper/online statements (granted they had a cyberattack recently, and were waiting to send, but come on, you're not going to tell your patients what's going on until they call??). Will NEVER return. STAY AWAY unless you enjoy long chats with customer service. Had to *text my email receipts to the supervisor's fax machine*!

I was in the hospital last month, Immanuel, and though I did not receive the best care I do want to say the security guards were extremely helpful as when I was released I had a dead battery and Nate, security, tried to jump me, would not start. So he let me keep the car there in the lot until I felt well enough to get it out. Well that took some time and the car was towed unfortunately but Mr Ford, who is the security manager, took care of the towing and I was able to get my car so thank you to the security that helped me out when I really needed it.

Through everything that my family has been through I just want to thank the staff of CHI Health Immanuel for answering any and all of my questions even when that meant transferring me quite a few times. They made sure that I received the answers I was looking for and was amazing at directing me to the correct person to talk to. I would like to thank the overnight nurse Julia, the overnight nurse Pam, and the Director of Rehab Kaylee, for the very fast response to my phone call and I am very appreciative towards them.

Our daughter was taken by ambulance to the ER after having her first ever seizure..later thought to be due to increase of her medication. She had all the tests needed to rule out the cause of the seizure, was transferred to several different floors, finally to the fourth floor for needed treatment. I have to say that no matter where she was everyone was most polite and attentive to her needs. Thank you to all the doctors and nurses that took care of her and are still taking care of her. It has been hard for our daughter and the entire family, but she if getting better with the right treatment.

My appointment was at 7:15 am. The receptionist was not there when I arrived. I waited 15 to 20 minutes. I called the posted number to let them know I was waiting, there was no answer. The receptionist returned with the excuse of delivering information to another department, not my problem. The exam only takes about 15 minutes. I was up early in preparation and was disappointed by the greeting I received. Thankfully, the exam and the technician was a good experience.

I came into the emergency department after having chest pain for over an hour. My information was taken quickly by the receptionist and I was taking directly back and evaluated by a nurse. I had to wait five or 10 minutes for a bed to become available but the triage continued despite that. All the standard chest pain and heart protocols were followed quickly. All the staff was friendly and efficient. I was treated with dignity and respect and it was soon determined that I was not having any kind of cardiac problem. I spoke with the doctor and was released to go home after about 2 and 1/2 hours. Overall it was an efficient and not unpleasant experience at all. Ann B. Bushman
