Front desk staff very polite, helpful and friendly. Room was very clean. Slightly small but had everything needed. Restaurants close by doing take out. Pet friendly we had our dog with us.

This Inn lived up to its name providing all the comforts we needed. Clean lovely room, lots of pillows for a very good sleep, full breakfast, convenient location, and very helpful staff. We left dress shoes in the room and staff were very patient (several phone calls) explaining various ways we could get them back.

Nice older hotel. Rooms are comfortable. It’s not as classy as newer hotels but has good breakfast and friendly staff. And very close to the highway and grocery stores.

This location delivered the experience we have come to know and expect from the Choice Hotels brand. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Check in was very quick and friendly. Our airconditioning was making a loud noise when we first checked in. The front desk moved our room right away and made it convenient by relocating us just across the hallway. This hotels has been recently updated and renovated. We had a nice modern bathroom and hallways had nice clean carpeting.

Overall this is a nice "Value/Budget" location. Staff are friendly and rooms are clean. It meets the standards of "Comfort Inns." This hotel is conveniently located just off the highway and a short distance away from shopping and restaurants. I would use this location. ~~~~ Important note for Groups. This is not a coach bus friendly location. Navigation of buses on this property is not advised. Do not attempt to drop passengers at front door. On the day i arrived there were 6 bus loads of people here (approx. 300 people.) ~~~~ Tip for managers and staff. When you receive a booking for a group that's coming in by bus put some pylons out and block off some areas for buses to park. Please take into consideration the ease of getting into and out of the your property when blocking off these areas Please do not forget to consider whether you have one or multiple coach buses. As a note of reference the average Highway coach is 48 feet /15 m long and requires approximately 7 to 8 parking spaces.

Booked online with a debit card. Called to make sure my fiance could check in for me and the person confirmed "and you're paying with debit.". Get there and are told they don't take debit. Fine, pay with credit card. Fiance doesn't go up to the room when he checks in at 3 because we are heading to a wedding. Get back to the hotel around midnight and go to the room for the first time and it is completely unclean. Bed sheets are undone, toilet paper and human waste in the toilet, old towels hanging on the bathroom door. Only giving two stars because of how quickly they changed our room. No one at desk when we went to check out either.

On arrival some investment has been made to update the external appearance of the facility. Front desk staff were friendly on arrival, but insistent on registering for their 'perks' program. Hallways are very dated. Rooms appear to be partially updated with newer bathroom facilities and furniture. A downside was the clearly worn and abused carpet through out the room, though I feel that is par for the course with an older facility. Bedding was clean, though there were a few questionable stains on one of the pillowcases. The bed was comfortable and about what I would anticipate for a King bed in a hotel. The in-room TV was small but sufficient, but all channels were standard definition, with no HD options available. Cable would occasionally cut out from time to time as well. Service was lacking in my opinion. For a 5-night stay, my room was only cleaned/turned over once. This means garbage and recycling were not taken. Towels and face cloths were not changed, and bedding was not remade or changed. I can appreciate that bedding is not changed daily, and that it was not remade daily (who makes their bed daily at home?) The large oversight, and biggest frustration was with the towels and garbage’s. When I spoke with the cleaning staff, they stated the 'do not disturb' sign was on the door. This simply wasn't the case as I ensured it was removed on leaving the room each morning (before 7:30am daily.) Overall, for the price, I am disappointed in the services provided.

We stayed in the not so new section of the hotel. Room smelled strongly of cigarettes. Pricing a bit high for what you get. Would expect to get two queen beds and a couch for almost $200 a night.

Stayed for a night with some friends after going to a concert. It was cozy and the staff were really nice and polite. The room was pretty good. A bit small for 4 people but it worked. The location is next to the highway but that didn't bother me at night. The free breakfast in the morning was actually really good. I would definitely stay here again if we come back to Ottawa.

I recently stayed here for 3nights. There was free buffet style breakfast, free wifi, free parking. There’s a mini gym and a mini laundry with washer and dryer(payment is with coins). Cozy beds, air conditioning/heating, TV with so many channels to choose from, ironing board and iron. It was excellent for the price.

I come very often to this hotel but more I come and less I want to come back .. seriously there’s respect to have from your housekeeper. you should ask them to respect the clients … they partying on the first floor early morning making a lots of noise everyday and slammed every door they go in to clean it’s very annoying I can hear it at the end of the hallway!!! So I work Night Shift but I have to wake up every morning around 8-9am because of the house keeper. I told the reception couple times but it looks like they never told anything about it cause it never changed

This place is great. Rooms are clean, staff are friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is generous. There is a small excercise room with a good assortment of dumbbells, no bench though. There is a treadmill, rower and elliptical. I wish the fridges in the rooms had freezers.

We got married this past weekend and booked some rooms for our wedding party. We dealt with Ruth and we were so amazed and happy with the service and how seamless she made everything for us to book, she even followed up to make sure if there was any changes needed, the communication was flawless. When we did check in we got upgraded last minute and has more space for our wedding parties to get ready and they gave us a congratulations card. 10/10 recommend every time!!

I recently stayed at Comfort Inn West Kanata with my family, including our pet dog. The location was decent and the rooms were clean, which was appreciated. The staff at the reception were amazing and very helpful. The morning breakfast was fairly good considering the price we paid. It's also great that they allow pets to stay. However, I would caution against booking during a sports event in the area, as we experienced two consecutive sleepless nights due to the loud noises. My wife, two kids, and dog all struggled to sleep due to the noise. Overall, it was a decent stay, but the noise level from other guests returning from the sports event was a big issue between 1am and 3am

Very rude front staff member. Degrading and arrogant. Ruined our experience and made me feel terrible. Would not recommend

AC and fridge didn't work for whole week and no maintenance was sent to fix it.

Went to see about booking 3 nights and 2 rooms and they wanted $1900 so went to a holiday inn and same thing but way cheaper as was only $600 for 3 nights and 2 rooms.... I feel like this hotel tried ripping me off

I left in a rush and forgot the cannabis I need for anxiety and sleeping in the bedside table. I called later that day and was told there was nothing in the room, that cannabis use is popular now and to check my bags again. When I was responding to that answer, the manager mandy hung up on me. Great way customer service to show to customers not only local, but for my overseas guest as well

Very friendly and flexible staff. We stayed here to be close to our friends' wedding venue. They allowed us to book a room with the CAA discount rate without having providing the CAA number right away. They also accommodated an early check in which allowed us to use the wedding shuttle bus. They were renovating while we stayed there, but everything was tidy and quiet. Temporary changes to the hotel had great signage. And lastly, the breakfast (egg and cheese on an English muffin with a choice of sausage or bacon, yogurt, an apple, and orange juice) was a pleasant surprise given the renovations and COVID protocols in place. Great job!
