An intimate traditional French restaurant with heaps of charm, bustling with locals and friendly staff willing to talk in English. You should book a table to avoid disappointment. The food was fresh, beautifully cooked and packed with flavour. The chef on the day was 3 Michelin star trained and this was evident in the Foie Gras / Cepes / Entrecote and Veux dishes we ordered.

Our dinner here was the highlight of our Paris weekend. Cozy, charming space. We did the pre-fixe menu and everything was unique and delicious! But best best of all was the service. The staff was very helpful and attentive to our needs. Highly recommend for an authentic, affordable Parisian dinner.

Fabulous lunch! Beautifully prepared and delicious. Waitstaff were tres excellent, aussi. Not a tourist place, so eat what’s on the menu. (If you’re worried that they won’t have a familiar dish, this probably isn’t for you. But if you’re the type to trust the chef, go. Just go. )

A hidden gem! A friend who lives and works in Paris has recommended this charming & cosy restaurant. They serve food from La Lozere area, generous portions, great selection of wines, reasonably priced. Friendly and efficient service, staff make you feel very welcomed in here. I had salmon for my main course and it was absolutely divine. Booking is essential, as this place is quite small and very popular with the locals. This is certainly one of my favourite restaurants in Paris :)

Delicious food of the Provence region. Reservations for nightly meals are a must.

In the age of Covid you should not be sitting cheek-to-jowl with your unknown neighbors in the back of a small restaurant which does not have cross-ventilation. Had dined here several times a year, for at least 15 years. Made an in-person reservation yesterday, and when we appeared for dinner, there were 4 occupied tables, but we were offered none of the 'isolated' seating options, and my query regarding Covid risk was derided by someone whose demeanor and tee shirt advertised his surly attitude. We regret not having been able to dine at La Lozere again.

Third or fourth time here, and the food is just as good as it was five years ago. Don't miss the foie! Convivial lunchtime atmosphere and easy dinner service with excellent prix fixe menu options -- a lovely little gem offering hearty regional fare from southern France near Mont Lozère. Famous for aligot -- cheesy, unctuous mashed potatoes! Cheerful service, thank you :)

Steps away from the tourist-oriented eateries, on the relatively quiet Rue Hautefeuille, we had one of our best meals of our Paris visit at Lozère. The prices are quite reasonable (<20 Euro for a 3-course lunch, not much more for the dinner menu), making this a slam dunk choice for anyone looking for a good meal in the area. As others noted, the clientele is mostly local - the menu is in French, but the waitstaff kindly translated where we had difficulty. BTW, if it matters to you, not all the seating is shared - you can easily peak through the front window and see which tables, if any, are available. By chance, we only ended up eating here after Tourelle (across the street) was fully seated... and of all the neighborhood restaurants, we enjoyed Lozère the most.

avel to Paris often with work, but went to La Lozere for the first time on vacation after a friend had recommended it. Since then, Ive enjoyed eating there many times and make it a point to try and visit when Im there with work. Almost always full with locals, they generally open for dinner between 7-730pm. If you get there later, its possible you'll have to wait, as it fills up quickly and is pretty small, seating maybe 25-30 people at most. The menu is French, but the staff is great and any questions are answered without attitude. It's banquet seating for the most part, so if you don't like sitting with strangers at a picnic sized table, you may not enjoy …but as for me, Ive had fun and interesting dinner companions every time, and everyone Ive brought there has enjoyed it as much as I have. Food is always fresh, portions generous, the local wine is good and inexpensive. If you're a dinner snob, skip this place…it's down to earth, good food and atmosphere that is French country casual.

👍👍 If you are visiting Paris, a cruise ride on the River Seine is not to be missed. We chose Bateaux Parisiens as it was included in the Paris Pass. 😐 Granted, setting and mood are nice. Staff is, for the most part, friendly’ish. Food was average, in other words, rather disappointing. I tried all dishes but I had the pizza, it was lukewarm, chewy and could barely hold together towards the center as it was so moist. I wouldn’t go again but that’s...
