Amazing campsite had so much fun . A must visit in summertime . This is a full hookup site with a very nice shower and washrooms. They have this guy come every Friday evening play music and games for the kids . The lake is literally outside the campsite . Close to Walmart liquor store or small little ice cream places and nice park .

This is a nice rv park next to the channel. Spaces are a little tight but manageable even for big trailers. Their free WiFi could use some work as the signal was quite weak and it was difficult to connect. Rates were reasonable and it's right across the street from the beach.

    1. Crows only at this campsite are extremely loud in the morning 2. The force of my spit is stronger then the shower heads in the washrooms 3. June bugs, only at this campsite are massive(where is Bob Duncan when you need him lol) 4. The tress are too messy. Always be sweeping amiright 5. Not enough ducklings roaming through the camp 6. Don’t even get me started with the bathrooms 7. Catfish from the pond don’t taste good at all. Do me a favour don’t stay here

What an amazing vacation we had in this campground! The location is the best. You just need to cross the road and you have a huge clean beach with very warm lake where you can swim for hours. Showers are ok. 1 loonie for 6 min. Penticton downtown is close. It is very nice. Superstore is 5 minutes by car. We will defenitely come back again. If you like wine you should deffenitely go to Painted Rock Winery which is 5 min from the campground. The scenery is stunning there and the wine is tasty.

South Beach Tent and RV Park is in the south of Penticton’s central area. There are more than 100 campgrounds and RV Park with full service. Crossing the highway is the beach πŸ–οΈ, the yellow sand is particularly delicate, the lake is crystal clear, and there are children's toys, which are most suitable for adults and children to play in the water together.

Sold to new owners at the end of this year. Check back on reviews next year for an update. Other than a few over the top rules regarding pets, this campground has been a winner for close to 45 years. Came as a child and am now almost 70. Great job Harvey and crew.

We come here every year! you can RSVP min 5 nights or you can get lucky and get a place before it gets full! Water and electricity are provided.. Beach is just across the street! bathrooms are clean and close by, and tow play grounds for toddlers and older kids

I gave it a 4. The campsite was nice, near washrooms as asked. The pictures are not what it is. The sites are crowded, and numbers aren't visible at night. The beach is across a busy road and drivers won't wait. One stall in ladies was down and it was down the whole week. One soap dispenser was empty for 3 days, yet the bathroom had been cleaned. Friendly enough and easy to get to places. Not sure about a repeat visit. That would depend on my daughter and her thoughts. Maybe pictures should be updated so people can see it when it is full

Due to wild fires, health reasons and travel ban we have called to cancel two days before our reservation date. She said either way because the ban is in affect they will return $80 out off $100 regardless. Now I called to see how and when will they return the money she said they are not doing it because we didn't cancel, I explained we did and what I have been told she says sorry you were suppose to call on the day your reservation, i explain again I called and said we are not coming and then she hang up the phone on me... tried to call back NO answer...

So close to the beach !! Quite campsite unless your site is by the road. Store was empty I'd prefer to spent money there instead of having to go to stores off site . Still enjoyed our time !

Really busy campground across the street from a beautiful beach. Prices are a little high, but expected for the area.

Been coming here for years with our families. Great location. Close to beach and all amenities. Quiet at night and sites are very clean. Always, always enjoy our stay here.

What a great place, I was here a few times Camping last Summer during June and July, unfortunately I don't have a photos to share, however the staff at the desk were always friendly and they accepted Koho payment which was great, super friendly people, I always got a great location for camping plus the beach is literally walking distance. Very friendly park and the rest rooms very clean.

I love this place. It's a great place for kids. The river float is only a few blocks away from the campground as well. There's the SKAHA Lake across the road from the campgrounds so it's very convenient. They have laundry facilities on site and showers. They have a lovely pond that surrounds the beginning portion of the campsite. There's a little arcade and mini golf. There's restaurants a short distance away. If you love to walk there's most shop within a 30 min walk. We loved it here. There's also a provincial park just a short drive the other side of the lake that I would say is a must see.

The young teens working at the camp store are very friendly and polite . The campground is in a prime location since the beach is right across the street . The campground itself needs major TLC. bathrooms are outdated. garbage scattered around the ponds. Our campsite had cigarettes from the previous campers scattered everywhere and weren’t even cleaned up. this campground has so much potential and it’s sad to see it go downhill, i use to camp here so much growing up and it use to be so nice

😐 To many dogs on the people beach. Bi-law just rolled on by didn't do a thing. Not sure why we have specific bi-law officers for animals if they don't do anything. Waste of tax payers money. On a high note the public washrooms were better than normal. Less drug addicts in the area as well.

πŸ‘πŸ‘ The garden is named after Penticton's sister city Ikeda, Japan. It is a garden among the beach front parks and beaches along the scenic Okanagan Lake, which is located right downtown. The garden shares the location with the Penticton Art Gallery. A beautiful place for all seasons. There is a lot to...

😠 I don't mind walking past it on my way to smoke a joint, everyone seems to enjoy it. I myself hate the water and would rather end up bloated, floating upside down in a life jacket than be around that many people.
