First, it's a super cool looking place. The inside is big and can hold a lot of business. The bar area is really nice too. Our server Denia was great. Super nice, prompt, polite, I appreciate that a lot when I'm out places. Being nice to each other seems to be rare these days. The food was great. We had lasagne (it does irk me a little to see it spelled with an "a," but I digress) and salmon, both were fantastic. Then we had a canoli and the crème brûlée. All-in-all, would definitely recommend. The prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend if you like Italian food and are down this way. I tried to show the inside of the lasagne some too.

Very authentic Italian 🇮🇹 cuisine. Excellent Short-Rib Risotto 🤯, good field greens salad, and the homemade gravy (sauce) ... YUM!! 😋 My baked Sicilian Spaghetti 🍝 was an excellent choice and the leftovers made for a great midnight snack 😉 !! The restaurant is ginormous with many different sized rooms and lots of catering options. The bar 🍸 is huge and inviting with a good beer 🍺 and mixed drink 🍹 offering. Murals adorn most walls in keeping with the warm Italian feel. An excellent dining choice in downtown Petersburg! Who knew?!?! 😳😍😛

Went to lunch with some of my amazing business partners! This is a very large space with outside seating as well as, in door dining. The waiter was new, but was very polite! Everyone in the bar went above and beyond to give us 5 star treatment! Will definitely come back to enjoy more food items!

Thos place was on point! Such kind staff, a gentleman sang on the stage and he had a delightful voice. The food was excellent and flavorful. Plenty of space in the restaurant and a fun atmosphere. Restrooms were clean but could have been restocked ( I believe they were low on staff like everywhere else). Definitely a great time and I will be going back over the next few minths that I am in the area. I highly encourage anyone to check it out.

I absolutely loved the ambiance of this restaurant. The food was impressive. Pasta was perfectly cooked Al dente. Fries were fresh and crisp. Sandwich was better than expected. The mojito was good. Desserts were decadent. Great service from our server Christian who had helpful suggestions. Would definitely come back again.

Charlotte (the waitress) was very sweet & kind to me & my sister the whole time during Christmas Eve! The pasta (Seafood Ravioli) & crab dip was amazing! The Cheesecake was great too! And a sweet guy brought our WHOLE meal & drinks!

First time here. I ordered the Lasagna and it was perfect. Service was a little slow and not a lot of attention during an empty lunch. I will definitely go back, maybe next when I can have a cocktail to take my mind off the wait.

Our group of 15 was the first for dinner that evening. After a round of drinks, we ordered as another larger party (40?) and smaller parties were seated. The food and service were excellent... right until our server (the only one?...how?) dedicated herself to the larger group. It was difficult to find anyone to refresh drinks or provide dessert. We waited 45 minutes for our checks and had to distribute them to ourselves. We found someone who could cash us out and rather than wait at the table, we stood in a line at the server's station. They were nice and we enjoyed our server but she was a one woman show with little support. We tipped HER and the person who helped in the end. To clarify, the problem was not the size of our group or any other. The problem was only one server. Waiting for ANYONE to visit our table for 45 mins to check on us is unacceptable.

Overall,we enjoyed our dining experience Maria's Old Town 21 on Friday evening and it was very close to the VSU Multipurpose Center, where we were going after dinner. The food was good and the atmosphere/decor was nice. My wife and daughter really enjoyed the masquerade masks that adorned the walls, especially because the theme of her senior prom is "Masquerade" this year. Our service was good, considering they appeared to be a little short staffed that evening. Our server did a terrific job. The courses were well paced, so that we had time to enjoy them separately, instead of everything brought all at once.

I mean amazing food + customer service and ambiance. Definitely recommend to anyone in the area. Coming from NY i can say the quality of the food is %100 good. Thx again for the great eats.

This place was so surprising to me. The food was fantastic the atmosphere was wonderful Italian music with the Four Tenors on the speakers was beautiful. We had a fantastic waiter, Christian he was super helpful kind and answered all questions. Thanks Christian.

Maria's is the best kept secret for those who love authentic Italian food. Their customer service is unequaled, meals are outstanding, and decor comfortable. Please take that special someone, family, or friends to enjoy a truly 5 star dining experience. Your time and money will be well spent. Every other Italian restaurant needs to take notes. Visiting southern end of Richmond and were recommended to try Maria's. Able to find parking in the street pretty easily and were seated right away. Our waitress was very friendly and attentive to us without being overbearing. The outside dinning was very nice, good atmosphere. The food was very good and reasonably priced.

Went here for lunch for . the 1st time last week. Delicious!! I had lasagna, which I absolutely loved. My husband had salmon stuffed with crab. He loved the salmon but not a fan of the crab stuffing. He will order the salmon alone He says. The service was good. The restaurant is Huge. You don't see how big from the outside. Parking is an issue but that's typical for old Town. We will be back. Can't wait.

Food was cold. Never got a refill. Rustica pizza needs a uplift on taste. Balsamic is off putting with rest of ingredients. It was not worth the 63 for two ppl with one pizza, calamari and a drink.

Chelsea was our server..she was so sweet and took great care of us! Food was outstanding. We had the Italian margarita which was great. Looking forward to coming back again.

Fantastic food, fantastic atmosphere, and great service! A must when you are in Petersburg!

We visited on a Saturday night. It was a little slow. It was beautiful inside and had a grand piano on their stage in the back room. We got stromboli that was delicious. The Caesar side salad was large and had home made croutons that were excellent. The lasagna was a large portion, delicious and the bread that came with it was great. The egg plant parmesan was the only dish that didn't reach expectations. It was good. The spaghetti noodles and sauce were delicious but the egg plant was just a little too soggy. We will go back to visit just won't order the egg plant again.

Great food with a homemade taste. The vibe is cozy and conjures feelings of dining in Rome. The inside is made to look like outside with plenty of cozy corners to settle in. The outdoor patio is nice in good weather, too. Recommended for date nights or family gatherings for special occasions.

The food is amazingly tasty, we have been never disappointed with any dish w have tried. The costumer service is outstanding.

We had a really great time with the family, party of 10 and I was pleased that everyone's food came out hot. We tried a variety of things off the menu and everyone was very pleased with their food. They have done a wonderful job with the decor and the general feel of the place, I look forward to being able to go back in warmer weather and try the outside seating. We had a very good server All of the staff were super friendly and helpful.

The food was just delicious taste fresh and the bread was cooked to order. I don’t have Puc of the food because we were too excited to eat that we didn’t take pics. Beautiful decor inside and out feels like Italy.
