    This place drives me insane. My partner is a veteran and I bring her here for appointments. Her doctor is the most disrespectful medical professional. Dr. Hernandez is condescending and unaccommodating. I expect a certain bedside manner and minimum intelligence from a MD especially when treating those who have fought for our country. My partner recently experienced acute kidney failure among a lengthy list of other issues and this doctor tried to push her appointment back two weeks after we returned from her being hospitalized in Nevada. She doesn't care at all and doesn't bother to hide it. The VA health teams in Phoenix are shamefully run and they desperately need to reevaluate their employees and systems. Even with the newer community care options, our veterans in AZ are still not receiving the life saving care that they need and deserve. This clinic in particular needs to provide their doctors with some sensitivity training.

    I have to agree with the other reviews. One star is for the support staff that do a wonderful job. As for as the providers go, not sure where the VA found them but they need to be returned. We deserve better.

    The worst people and facility. They say they care but they don’t. They are just collecting a pay check. A veteran is without medications tonight and in the middle of a psychotic break because of the med doctor there. Shame on you. Shame on all of you. 22 a day because of the lack of treatment from the VA and this clinic. Shameless.

    If I could give it less stars, I would. I am beyond frustrated with this clinic. They used to be about on par with what you expect from a VA clinic, but lately they’ve sunk even lower than that. They are making anything I do there as difficult as possible. “Oh you need a tb test in the next couple weeks? “Well you need to make an appointment.” “Okay, let’s make an appointment.” “Oh well, you can’t do that without a doctor’s order.” “It’s a TB test, I get it done every year. Whatever, so how long will that take?” “The doctor is very busy, it takes a week to put in an order. And then probably another week to get an appointment.” I ended up having to pay out of pocket because they basically refused to work with me. Still haven’t heard about that by the way. Took me another 2 weeks and about 4 phone calls just to get a vaccine I needed for school. I’m now in the middle of taking weeks to get a renewal of a medication I’ve taken for 4 years. I put in a request, which then just got shot down. Telling me to contact an office that I don’t have messaging access to. Now the doctor is out of town and the Fill in doctor refuses to place an order for a standing medication. And now I have to have another appointment in 2 weeks. Don’t mind me, just a busy med student that doesn’t have time for your dumb games.

    Starting to feel like they dont care at all. Used Crisis line. Took days to talk to someone about meds. No ptsd counselor called. Got a hold of them and they recommended another program. Those people never called or did a call back. Been almost a month and haven't started any counseling or set something up. God forbid something ever happen to me. I hope for my childrens sake my family sues them. Feel free to contact me with a lawyer at this point. The VA health system needs to be dissolved so soldiers can get competent care at civilian practices. Ive never had good experiences with them in 7 yrs, across 2 states, and multiple locations.

    Extremely lazy doctors. Clearly on staff because their malpractice insurance got too high. Incompetence and mediocrity in abundance at this location. A clear and perfect example of why the VA medical should be dissolved and veteran's given healthcare cards with which to access actual professional medical treatment. It's as if these doctors earned their medical degrees from an online college, in the Philippines, after four tries. This clinic is an absolute joke. This "clinic" doctors and It's director need to be audited before they end up getting someone killed. This is the kind of healthcare one would expect to receive from a public school nurse with a bad attitude.

    Pardon the negativity but it’s VAs like this why so many Veterans have a hard time with there healthcare. I’ve been calling for 3 weeks now to get a follow up on some lab results and have yet to be contacted back. The only thing good about this VA was the nurse that did my blood work. Please don’t waist your time going to this VA.

    Typical VA misappropriation of funds absolute INSANITY sending Veterans 25 miles out of their way when they had a perfectly good hospital that they could invest in. Most of the residents live in proximity to downtown Phoenix this is insanity whoever is responsible for this needs to be fired ASAP!

    I’m scared to come here for my optical exam since the one at the Indian school VA closed down but nonetheless , I’m sick of the run around and mind games, having to jump through hoops and given ultimatums for something that would be so easy at a non VA clinic/hospital. Outsourcing helps but this was the only one that got my schedule I don’t know what the credentials are to serve those who served but it seems like discrepancies and non compliance is at the top of the list. We deserve better.

    No bedside manner from my doctor. It makes me wonder what a real hospital is like, with real doctors. I wonder if things actually get done. Veterans, we deserve better.

    I have been a VA patient since 1990 oh, and I have to tell you the changes at the VA have changed so dramatically it's hard for me to believe I can't comprehend how friendly everyone is how smoothly everything is running it's like I'm in the Twilight Zone I have never in my life seen the VA perform so flawlessly and that is not an exaggeration. Donald Trump has truly turned the VA around for the better and I thank him so much for what he's done! Thank you mr. Trump!

    I don't know what he means by worthless. I do not know what I would do without the VA. I have been to Banner and Mercy Hospitals. maybe fancier, but the staff at the VA were not hiding using the excuse of charting to disappear from giving you care when you rang for help. My Doctors and Nursing staff at my clinic care about my health and my specialty doctors stand up to any.

    Aside from the fact that they seem to rush you out the door just to get to the next patient but the location is horrendous. There is so much construction going on around the building that it takes about 25-30 minutes just to go through all the detours and finally find the very hidden yellow brick road and get there. This is the worst experience I've had with DoD medical to include being active duty. Not impressed and they should just close it down to put Congress money in a better place.

    The doctors and front desk check-in are good. The eye exam went well until I went to the back with the techs or whoever orderes glasses. I feel very rushed, and some of them are rude. I wish I had better choices. If I someone doesn't understand the question, don't just repeat yourself and get upset at the patient.

    The staff here is really nice. Especially Tasha (I think that's her name, she works at the front desk so she's an MSA) I don't drive so I depend on OWL transportation provided by the VA. Because VA transportation is so understaffed, those of us that depend on them end up waiting hours for pickup. The clinic closes at 4:30 on the dot. They let me wait inside after they were closed until my ride finally came at 6:15. Most VAs won't let you do this. They just kick you out so I appreciate their kindness.

    Construction is not there fault I mean shoot the employees can't even get to work. Awesome experience, great exam, professional staff.
