Early June I called in to arrange an appointment with a specialist on the advice of my GP for the trouble I've been having with my ankle. I described my problem and they booked an appointment for July 31st 9am with Dr. Vandersluis. I was thrilled. July 30th at 10:09 am I get a call from this clinic wanting to cancel my appointment because the Dr. doesn't 'do' ankles. Are you freaking kidding me! I've waited 1.5+ months and you call me 23hrs before my appointment, when it was described, and documented all along that the problem was with my ankle. Why would they even book the appointment, why would they wait until the day before to share with me that the Dr. doesn't want to do ankles? Avoid this place if you're looking for competence.

I would definitely not recommend this place for physiotherapy after an injury…at least not with Yogita. I came here after my surgery on both my right hand and right foot, both broken from a fall. Although the bones are healed they are still very tender. Yogita was very rough with the treatment and it was quite painful, even after I asked her to please be more gentle. I found her rude, uncaring and lacking empathy. Furthermore, she saw me all of 7 minutes, left me in the care of someone else and although she was still around never once asked how I was doing… in fact totally ignored me. Very unprofessional. Not to mention the fact that during my visit I was only receiving treatment half the time….the other half I was just waiting.

This bustling clinic is always busy but with good reason. The staff is very knowledgeable and caring! The clinic has all of the services you need to get "back on your feet" and the staff is able to teach you how to do it for yourself. Focus is on regaining independence with care and safety. Great team and in a very good space. Free parking and easy to get to!

Very helpful front desk. Lots of construction. Gym open. Not sure of rules. Fill out a covid form first. Construction meant to finish sept, was said end of year but I guess spring 2022

My experience here was very bad. I had a physio. therapist Yogita And she was not listening to my concerns. I asked her to not push so hard as I was in pain and she ignored me and was talking and laughing with staff. She was rude and put me down. No one should go for therapy in pain and get mistreated. She did not seem concerned about my recovery. While I was there she was also gossiping about other patients. How unprofessional this is. If you want understanding and caring or competent do NOT see this therapist.

Overall services are Excellent! Both Tammy and Remya customer service is Above and Beyond! My physiotherapist, Megha is an Excellent Therapist too! Her Care and Service is unparalleled and cannot be compared!!! I would definitely recommend any Doctor or Hospital to send their patients to this facility and would also refer my friends and family too. Lots of parking!!!

I suffered with sciatica and was unable to move at all until I visited Urva for an acupuncture session. I was sceptical and a bit afraid at first but soon realized how much I had been missing out on! Urva has been amazing since day 1 and she explained what acupuncture does and how it will help with my sciatic pain. I keep coming back whenever I have the slightest of pain for the past 2.5 years and Urva has worked her magic and immediately relieves all pain! I highly recommend Urva for any acupuncture needs!! The front desk staff are extremely nice as well and together, they always make my experience an amazing one!

I’ve had three major surgeries in the past 13 months and had physiotherapy at three different places in Pickering. This is by far, my best experience. If asked, this is the place I’d recommend to anyone. From the location, the cleanliness, the friendly receptionists and the rest of the staff, all top notch. Thank you all so much for your excellent care especially Yogi. Your knowledge, professionalism, concern and friendliness made every visit a pleasure. Also, a big thank you to Joshua and Anu who were very attentive to my needs. Thanks so much to all.

Due to many injuries I have suffered through the years I have had numerous visits with Physio therapists for many different rehab procedures, but I have finally met a true professional. Niketa Modi took the time to fully understand my difficulties before she set up a program that ensured I would experience relief. On each visit she assessed progress and modified procedures to ensure that strength and movement was the result of her work.

The staff are professional and welcoming. The physiotherapy provided by Yogi helped alleviate over a year of pain because of my frozen shoulder. If I would have known the relief I could attain through their care and support at Pickering Sports Medicine, I would have gone there a lot sooner! I have my movement back and no pain! Many thanks!

👍👍 I originally came to see Dr. Chris for a chronic lower back issue. After a thorough diagnosis he suggested spinal decompression and patience. Sure enough given time my back problems are virtually gone. I see him monthly now for a 'tune-up' and find the staff and clinic welcoming and comfortable. His...

😠 Careful because they upsell you without giving you the full disclosure. Had a massage today and during the treatment I was just asked some variation of “I’ll massage your scalp, is that ok?” to which I agreed thinking it was part of the typical massage treatment. Just looked at my receipt when comin...
