Had the biscuits and gravy, the crepes, and the chicken fried steak as well with some pancakes. The chicken fried steak was good but not worth the price tag in my opinion. The pancakes were really good probably the best thing I had from here other than the service. Wish I had better things to say about the crepes and the biscuits but they were very dry almost as if it was old. Biscuits looked homemade but was almost as if microwaved

Awesome breakfast & lunch! Giant delicious pancakes and butter (I always get 2 pancakes); bacon and hash brown were pretty tasty too. The coffee was great. Burritos were ok. 4/5, -1 for long wait time and tight space. I can’t wait to try Tally’s dinners.

We had a wonderful dinner experience at Tally's Silver Spoon. Our service was excellent, the server was very knowledgeable in regards to the menu as well as to matching a wine to our entrees. We started out with the curry muscles as an appetizer, they were wonderful. Three of us ordered house salads to start, they were very good The vegetables were crispy and fresh. Our fourth member ordered soup, he said it was very good as well. For entrees, two of us ordered the elk tenderloin and two of us ordered the buffalo marsala. All entreees were really good. For dessert, we all actually had the date night which is a date cake with date ice cream. It was very mild and smooth, not too sweet yet sweet enough.

Wow, is this place phenomenal! They have a great wine, beer, and cocktail menu and an excellent (to say least) menu! I ordered a Sauvignon to start and the off the menu vegetarian entree. Let’s talk about that vegetarian entree. To start off, the tofu was pan fried to perfection and was wonderful! The deep fried mushrooms melted in my mouth and the rice noodles were super flavorful!

This is a great higher end restaurant. We were there for dinner. If you want a fancy steak house meal but not the formal atmosphere then this is the place to stop. The staff of very knowledgeable about the menu and the appropriate wine to pair with it. The price doesn’t break the bank either. The food was amazing. I would definitely recommend.

Always love Tally’s, it’s my go-to brunch spot! Last week I had the special, I wish I could remember what it was called, it was absolutely amazing it was some sort of braised bison on hash browns and the most perfect bread that reminded me of a stepped up cornbread. It was out of this world, 10/10, I hope they have it on the menu again… better yet if it was made it a permanent dish. ☺️ I’ve always had amazing service from host to servers, never a single complaint. I’ve been there several times where the wait is over 30 min and I can tell you it’s worth every second! Also, no matter how stressed the staff must be due to how busy they are they never once have shown anything but kindness, respect, and patience! I have and will continue to point anyone and everyone to Tally’s for brunch.

Fast service with a smile. Fantastic food. Big portions of quality great tasting food. Only downside is I was seated at the counter next to the coffee pots and I could see the nasty stuff that accumulates around the draft beer stainless steel catch and drain. Once I saw it out was tough not to look at and made it uncomfortable to continue eating. I’ll be back but I’ll be sitting elsewhere.

While traveling to Rapid City to explore the National Parks and monuments in the area, we were looking for a good dinner stop on a Sunday. Tally’s was one of the few places open, but wow were we happy they were and so impressed with our meal. Its clear ingredients were high quality and their dishes had sophistication without feeling pretentious. I had their Bison Marsala and my fiancé did their Buffalo entree. The appetizer (mushrooms) were incredible as well. Not only was the food great, but Sean, our waiter was out of this world. He gave great recommendations, explained the dishes in great detail, and provided wonderful customer service. We definitely recommend this spot. We’re even talking about coming back another day before we leave the area!

Was getting a little disappointed with restaurants in Rapid City until we stumbled upon this jewel. Wow! What a find! Stopped in for brunch and glad we did. My wife had Eggs Benedict and I ordered Migas. Both were delicious (understatement!). Pleasant surroundings and tip top service. Highly recommended if you are in the area.

A very classy experience. The restaurant has a pleasant ambiance and is nicely nestled in a quiet downtown location. Their menu is quite diverse with appetizers, burgers, pastas, salads, and extravagant entrees. The bison Maytag Marsala mushroom pasta was amazing. It was loaded with bison tenderloin and mushrooms. The pasta was cooked perfectly and the dish was abundantly flavorful. The black hills Buffalo burger was way above average - a burger elevated. It was also cooked perfectly, juicy, and just all around delightful. The service was good. We got everything we needed promptly and accurately. This was a great experience - no complaints here.

The food was great, the service was prompt and friendly. Everyone was working hard, and it showed. It is well worth the money. I got the duck, duck goose and it was great! I offer this tiny critique- the dish is missing something crispy- which I think could easily be solved by the sweet potatoes cut smaller and roasted or fried crispy. Anyway, we loved it! (I forgot to take a pic before I dug in so I took a picture of my bar neighbors food to show their lovely presentation!)

What a find! We were in town for a few days and ate there twice! Bison was delicious 😋 with fettuccine and mushrooms. Brunch too was amazing! The ingredients were fresh, the service friendly, a must when visiting Rapid City!

Had dinner at Tally's Silver Spoon during our SD trip. Although we had a reservation it took a bit for the hostess to even acknowledge us. Once we finally got seated the service picked up though. As for food, it's hard to rate a place that was out of my top TWO choices on the menu, so basically I had to settle for the 3rd best option, which was fine but not something I'd go back for. I'd say, it might be worth a visit if you actually get the food you want but in our case it was just ok at best.

Lost my 20$. I paid with cash and 100% left 80$ (four 20$ bills) in the book, and she came back saying we were short 20$. She said she gave it to someone else to break it and I’m sure they either stole it or dropped/lost it. Either way they did not give me back my 20$ and it’s on the ground or in someone’s hand. Took 80$ and gave me back 60$…very very frustrating. The food was good. Very very expensive for just some breakfast. The chicken fried steak is to die for. I got the lox bagel which was VERY overpriced for just being a bagel. Almost 30$ for just a bagel with lox on it. It’s good, but not worth 30$. We ordered a mimosa and it took her 30 minutes to finally remember to give it to us. Overall a very sorry experience for 65 + a lost 20 $

Excellent spot to stop for breakfast while in Rapid City. I had the breakfast burrito, which is one of the best I've had. The green chili sauce on top really made the burrito. Make sure you get the salsa and sour cream as well. I also wanted to try the biscuits and gravy. The biscuit was light and fluffy, and the sausage gravy was amazing. Naturally, I couldn't finish all that food, so my pups were the lucky recipients of leftovers! Definitely stop and try Tally's.

Traveling through Rapid City we found this spot while walking around downtown. It is very deceiving from the outside, it just looks like a small diner. However, once inside and seeing the food it all changes. We had to sit at the large communal table because they were booked solid. It was a fun experience getting to talk to 2 other couples. I started with The Hipster salad which was so unique and incredible flavors. This was also large enough for a meal. I then had the Classic Carbonara and it was very good. The seasoning and flavors were excellent. For dessert we had four flavors of ice cream that was also good. Service was excellent!

Sat at the bar and had amazing service from Kate. Being from out of town, she had wonderful suggestions of what to do in and around town. The food is delicious with great prices that reflect the portions you get. You will not leave hungry! You can get a mimosa carafe for $9! (Equals around half a bottle of champagne). The French dip is amazing...get it with cheese. The side salad it came with was good quality and tasty. Will definitely be back!

Love this restaurant! Offers an "indecision" menu giving the chef full control to deliver courses of their design. Every dish was excellent! Highly recommend. //Update// Revisited Tally's again, this time with the whole family. Our server Sean was outstanding and once again the food was sublime! Cannot wait to go again...

Stopped on the way through town. Fantastic decision. Customer service was great from start to finish. We chose the two course surprise dish option and have no regrets. Both looked beautiful and tasted amazing.

The food was really good. I got the vegetarian breakfast, which was surprisingly good. The wheat pancakes with yogurt were also really good. Good coffee! The place was pretty busy, with a wait. When we went, the wait times weren't bad and the hostess was very accommodating and friendly.

We came at the end of Sunday brunch and the service was really slow. They also messed up the order of the table next to us. We ordered a Philly cheese steak which was actually roast beef and a turkey sandwich which was fine, but both feel overpriced for relatively simple sandwiches. Overall underwhelmed

What a delightful discovery. Had a wonderful time, the service was some of the best I've experienced in a while, and the food was exquisite. Everything had a delightful balance. Additionally there were options: some of us went big and some of us kept to a budget. Tally's gives you variety. But the bison may tag marsala (I even tried it with gluten free noodles) Oh my! This chef knocked it out of the park on that one. Will return.

So the food was delicious and the service was fantastic. I ordered the buffalo hanger steak with over easy eggs, and Jen ordered the salmon Benedict. There was a pretty obvious fail on the part of the kitchen coordination— it seems as if everything else was plated waaaay too soon and before the steak cooked, because the steak was perfect and hot off the grill, but my over easy eggs were cold, and it turns out Jen’s entire meal was cold too— cold poached eggs, cold Hollandaise— but we made the mistake of suffering in silence. Delicious but seriously, meh. The place was hopping but not so busy to excuse serving cold eggs. Wanted to give 5⭐️ but just can’t.

Delicious food and outstanding service! Sterling recommended a great appetizer, and was knowledgeable about the menu. He stayed half an hour past close to serve us, and didn't make us feel rushed. Great Ribeye with farro, and excellent Carbonara. Definitely a place we'll eat at again soon!

Great local breakfast joint. Service was excellent. Migas, chicken fried steak and biscuits and gravy were all very good.

😠 Our Sickies experiences in the past have normally been good, but this last experience honestly couldn’t have been worse.
