Revisited
Colonial
House
on
August
31st,
and
the
experience
was
night
and
day
compared
to
my
initial
visit.
The
Log
Cabin
dish
is
a
good
old-fashioned
rustic
American
breakfast.
Two
well-rendered
eggs,
aptly
seasoned
hashbrowns,
crunchy
bacon
bits,
and
toast.
The
pancakes
are
also
delicious
and
happen
to
be
large
and
fluffy
whilst
being
cooked
through
evenly.
The
waitress
this
time,
Kendell,
was
a
breath
of
fresh
air,
as
she
provided
hospitable
service
and
checked
in
at
the
table
regularly
to
ensure
complete
satisfaction.
I
am
overjoyed
and
delighted
to
be
able
to
raise
the
rating
from
a
2
to
a
4
given
this
latest
visit.
I
make
a
point
to
revisit
establishments
in
which
the
owners
take
constructive
criticism
well
and
apply
the
necessary
changes
and
adjustments.
In
this
case,
the
owner
truly
ensured
that
all
matters
were
rectified
and
left
me
and
my
guest
dreaming
of
our
next
visit
and
a
new
dish
to
indulge
in
and
hopefully
relish
as
much,
if
not
even
more
so,
than
the
Log
Cabin
and
pancakes.
A
big
shout
out
to
Kendell
for
rounding
out
the
experience
and
providing
memorable,
hospitable
service.
Colonial
House
is
officially
on
the
food
map,
and
I
very
much
look
forward
to
future
visits
and
partaking
in
the
ready-made
soups
and
pies
that
are
available
in
the
main
section
by
the
hostess
counter.
