No 5 stars for chains but this olive garden in rapid city puts the one at home to shame! Parking lot packed, tables full, but restaurant fully staffed so no wait. Wait staff extremely attentive, knowledgeable of menu and suggested good dishes. Reasonably priced.

We (4) had an OUTSTANDING Lunch!!!! The food was hot and very tasty!!! Service by Roxie was OUTSTANDING!!! She made our meal even better with her ray of sunshine personality!!!!! Overall a VERY ENJOYABLE EXPERIENCE!!!!

Ok, Usually Olive Garden delivers a decent to really good experience when it comes to the food. However, yesterday was my birthday and I decided to go to Olive Garden and have a special meal that I haven't had in a long time! I love Marsala Chicken, with garlic mashed potatoes. This has been my staple there for a long time. So, I ordered the meal again and waited. The meal comes out and I must say this is the most disappointed I have been in a long time with restaurants taking short cuts. Marsala chicken is supposed to have sauce on it with plenty of mushrooms. My meal had no sauce, dry chicken, and one sliced mushroom total! The chicken was hard because they must have microwaved it instead of actually cooking it. It wasn't juicy at all. Then to top it off I got a plate full of noodles with some cheese on it and that was my $19 birthday meal. The number of short cuts taken to make it was astonishing. However, the price is about $6 more than what it used to be, and it was better before. Quality = Price Not stiffing the customer out of almost everything on the meal and charging more for it! It was horrible to eat. The pic I show is a stocked picture from their website! My meal had none of that. I may come back but it will have to be several more years and maybe at a different location before I return.

Great food. Great service. Great prices. They have all the normal OG stuff, but they are super friendly and can make small talk! We enjoy going here on Sundays for lunch. They have a kids menu, etc.

First off our food was absolutely excellent. It was hot, seemed exceptionally fresh tasting, couldn't have been better, I had angel hair pasta with marinara sauce and three delicious meatballs. I would recommend this dish. Our waitress Brianna was super friendly and efficient, definitely very experienced, highly recommend management recognize this review and reward her. We are traveling from Wisconsin and will stop when we are near and again this week.

The food is super yummy and the service is excellent. Each entree goes with a free soup, and the soup is amazing with free refill. The waitress is very kind, patient and recommended the popular foods here. We came from illinois, and to be honest, the price of this dinner is very cheap. This restaurant deserves a five star!

Food was good as always, the service at the bar was not. We had Shaun K and although kind was very unaware and inattentive, he only talked to use 2 times on when he took our order second after our food came out, also he did not include our chocolates.

Roxie the waitress and did a great job. I rarely write very good reviews for the simple things. However, we had very great service! We felt valued, welcomed, and remembered our entire experience! Great job Roxie. Hopefully she will become a manager and train others!

This is very typically an Olive Garden. We went to celebrate our one year anniversary of living full time on the road. I ordered the Tour of Italy which is Alfredo, lasagna and chicken parmigiana only for the server to return and tell me that they were out of lasagna. Now, the restaurant was not crowded by any means and this was a Thursday night so how does an Italian restaurant run out of lasagna? Needless to say I was disappointed. The service was good and the rest of the food was fine-nothing spectacular, of course.

Located near Rushmore Mall. Food was great as usual. Service was excellent and very friendly staff. Self pay table kiosk worked great too

Everything was great. I ordered the eggplant dish and it came super hot from the kitchen. The salad and the bread sticks were great. The server Zaida was awesome, she was always making sure we had everything we needed.

They were packed when we got there! They were calm and collected and ran things very smoothly. The wait was about half that of other restaurants in the area because they were so organized. The waitress, though very busy, still was very friendly and attentive. Great experience!

Can't remember our servers name to save my life but a good kid. He was on top of it all. Kept the bread sticks full and the drinks flowing. He was on duty Sunday evening around 8 pm. He needs a kudos

Came in to eat on a busy Friday night. Seemed like the wait staff was really in the weeds as it took forever for waitress to get drink orders etc... However, the manager I think his name was Job? saved the day. He took over and got us drinks and salad and displayed such a calming demeanor. Even though our food was really delayed in getting to us, the food was terrific and worth the wait!

It was extremely busy for 5pm on a Wed night. 3 of us waited about 20 min for table. Waitress was very friendly. Had to wait about 20 min for gin and tonic from the bar. After placing order, mgr came back to say they were out of steak entree so we swapped for seafood alfredo. That was the only entree delivered to our table. It would seem like the other entrees were cancelled. Mgr comp'ed us dessert, but it would have been more appropriate to comp one of the entrees that we finally got after being at table for an hour.

Where’s the rest of my meal? I zoomed in. This didn’t even cover half of a normal dinner plate. Insultingly small portions of chicken, barely 2 1/2” around. Less than a cup of noodles. For $20 I expected considerably more like I usually have received in the past. This is an embarrassment and I highly doubt I’ll ever returns

Typical OG environment, family friendly, consistent food and value. Our waiter was exceptional. I tried a new dish that was very tasty and visually appealing with chicken, shrimp, pasta and red bell peppers with a light white sauce - delicious. I'll lookup the name of the dish and update the post. Everyone in our party of 3 enjoyed their soup, salad and entrée .

We got there at 11 when they opened and the food was very fresh and delicious!

The food was a little bit salty (0.5 stars). Expensive food as compared to the taste (0.5 stars). The ambience is great (1 star). There was a table games tablet which we thought was free but ended up paying for it. No staff members gave information regarding this. The service was good. (1 star).

Service was excellent, food was also very good. Very clean establishment. We had not been to OG for a long time. After this visit we will be regulars. We both had salad and chicken tortellini.

Food was great, high quality and good sized portions. Service was spot on, Nicole was very attentive and polite. Restaurant was clean and well organized.

What more can I say. It's Olive garden. You know what you are getting into. Standard fare. Nice staff. Quick seating. Ok food.

Olive Garden's are basically all the same. Food here was the same as the others I've been to. I do always love the endless salad though. What made the visit here 5-star was our waitress Taylor. She was awesome. For example she got the kids orders put in right away so they could be fed first. She was also very attentive and took great care of us. She made the visit wonderful!
