Delicious melt in your mouth steaks. One of our teens had a burger and was a good size. All the sides we had were excellent as well. Slightly limited with their booze selection and pricy

Started out with some warm bread and butter. Moved on to an excellent Caesar salad with bacon bits. It was a very good salad and I might have finished it all if our food hadn't arrived so quickly. My wife loved the blue cheese dressing on her house salad and had the chopped steak with a sweet potato. She loved it all. I had the 8 ounce sirloin with the Mac and cheese. I ordered my steak medium and it was slightly under cooked, however the flavor more than made up for the temp. The mac and cheese was very good, could have been a little cheesier, however that's a personal preference. Top all this of with super great service from Cody and it adds up to 5 stars in my book.

Had a chat with the manager on the way out, told her she should make sure she doesn't lose that cook. My steak and lobster were absolutely wonderful, and I could not have done a better job myself.

Last night I ordered a well done new york strip but they brought medium well which wasn’t quite horrible but when I asked them to bring what I was ordering, they just took that eaten steak and burnt it which made it super dry and real horrible without any apologies. This was my first and last time I ever come to this place.

We tried the: - special mac n cheese: i like my mac n cheese more creamy, they meat chunks were a bit unidentifiable therefore kinda hard to eat - French onion soup: VERY salty, the cheese was pretty good, but would be better with bread (not the bread they serve as a free appetizer, that bread is very mediocre) - Caesar salad: very plain salad, the ingredients weren’t anything to write home about - outlaw ribeye steak: now THIS was amazing, seasoned perfectly and extremely soft. The only good thing here, hence why it’s called a steakhouse haha. 3 stars because the person who seated us didn’t even give us utensils most likely because he didn’t care, or was too high (off of you know what) to care. The food other than steak is also pricey for what it really is. It’s not worth it in my opinion.

Friendly hostesses, attentive waiter and delicious food, what a great place to escape a thunderstorm! The steak was great, the burger delicious and rthe chicken tenders are huge.

Food, was great! Loved my steak, sweet potato, and rice. All the food was good. The crowd was not snotty, so you don't need to be dressed up to much, like some steak places. Only problem I saw, as a ex server, an cook of 10 years, was the server we had. Was not talkative. They did the bare minimum as a server.this would of been 5 stars, but front of house staff personalities is key. The faces place in front .

This place was absolutely delicious!!!! ❣️ The steaks were to die for. My husband and I both got the 12oz ribeye steaks, they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. They melted in your mouth they were so good! We also had the stuffed mushrooms and just let me tell you, I'm so glad that this place is a 2 hr drive from me or I would be broke. (But I'm definitely coming back!) Not only was the food to die for but the atmosphere and the employees were so kind and welcoming! ❣️☺️

I am kind of a connoisseur of sorts when it comes to reviewing restaurant places. LongHorn Steakhouse is a quality place that deserves your money and your time! Now that I got that out of the way I would like to knit pick a bit. Like all food places consistency is going to be the uphill mountain climb they all have to conquer, and LongHorn is no exception to this. On any given day you can get 5-star meal and service, then the next 3-star meal with 4-star service, and so on. I have been to the LongHorn several times now and what I have learned is that it is much better to eat at the place than to order carry out! That way if you have a problem with your food at least you are there to get it taken care of instead of carrying out where it's too late to really do anything about it now. We ordered Flo's Filet (Medium Rare) 9oz with sweet potato and asparagus, and I had the LongHorn Salmon with rice and broccoli. The food is getting smaller portions than they used to, but the prices are slightly higher as well. So, you are paying more for less. If that is the way, it is going to be then at least always deliver 5-star attention to the food and service! Flo's Filet was more like Medium Well than Medium Rare with hardly any pink in it. The sweet potato dwarfed everything on the plate and could be mistaken for the main meal itself. My salmon was amazing but there really is only two ways to cook fish, either it's cooked or it's not! Takes the guess work out of it I think:) My salmon was supposed to be the 10oz but was much smaller probably around 8 or so. We paid $57 total between the two of us. Both meals were cooked beautifully!! Tender and moist and just plain scrumptious!! Now I don't want my long review to give you mixed signals in any way. This place is a 5-star place for Rapid City!! Make no mistakes, they are definitely worth your time and money. With ever changing staff, cooks, management and such making consistency a very difficult thing to have anywhere, LongHorn at least does an excellent job with maintaining it. If you by chance have an off night or day with them don't sum your whole experience on that one-time event. I recommend for anyone to always give a place 2 to 3 times a chance to really reflect on their business. This place may just surprise you because as you may know everyone can have an off day:)

Had a great meal. Food was outstanding, service was terrific, and just overall great experience. I knew the place was on the right track when we got our side salad and it was big, cold and crisp. Might seem like a small thing but, it tells you a lot about an establishment when they think of their side salad 🤣😂

Mathias was our server and he was great we went in for some good food after a long day and he was excellent he was joking with us we were joking with him and he was just overall a great server( coming from a server myself) he was so good he always made sure our drinks were filled and we were doing good! I will 100% come back and sit in his section again!!

I stayed in Rapid City for a few nights and Longhorn served me two tender filets on two separate occasions. Fries were really good too. This is a great pitstop if you're traveling and looking for a quality meal. I ordered two sides of fries. That's why there are so many.

Very nice experience. Service was friendly and wait seemed shorter than initially told. I ordered the salmon which was cooked very well. Everyone else at the table enjoyed their food as well.

I haven't been to Longhorn Steakhouse in years, and that was also in the South. I'm not sure if they have the same menu (thought all do), they only had a few choices, and the bread was not that good. But the shrimp i ordered was tasty. Definitely top for me. I was able to modify how i want my sweet potato. I also ordered a cup of shrimp and lobster chowder just to try, and that was good, too. Service was good and easy to pay tab. I just scanned the QR code to pay (very easy). I think i also saw the manager helping the staff on the floor cleaning. That says a lot to me. They were not even that busy.

We have eaten there many times. Always had good food and good service. When my wife ordered she was very explicit with her order. She wanted her meat 180 degrees. She likes her meat well done. Her steak her steak was it even warm in the middle. So she sent back after telling the waitress again 180. When she returned to table with the steak it was still pink We asked what the temp was? She said 175. Hmmm. That is not 180. To boot the asparagus was now cold. The waitress then went and st in a boot and played on her phone. Not to return. We waited for 15 minutes after we finished to get our bill. She did not even ask if we wanted desert. I usually tip 20.00 or more. I tipped 0.00. and we will not return.

My wife and I are trying a quasi carnivore diet, and we were looking for a delicious, juicy steak. Longhorn delivered! Perfectly grilled, great flavor, tender, and great price! My wife got the 20oz Ribeye, I had the 22oz Longhorn (Porterhouse). Mouthwatering, seriously. I was so excited to eat and it tasted so good my picture is after digging in a little.

Great Porterhouse and Ribeye steaks! Seasoned and cooked to perfection. A generous side of asparagus, with a loaded baked potato for him and bacon smoked mac and cheese for me. Sure hope we get a Longhorn in Sioux Falls soon, they'll definitely give Texas Roadhouse a run for their money. The management at Longhorn is great too, which is DEFINITELY better the the Roadhouse in Sioux Falls where management is rude and dismissive of guests and staff alike. Prices at Longhorn are comparable to local steakhouses in Sioux Falls as well.

This place is awesome! Beat the rush or there will be a wait. Service was fast and the food was fantastic. Love the big knives a d cup was always full.

Highly recommend trying out Longhorn Steakhouse! Visited Rapid City from Sioux Falls and first time dining here. Amazing experience, tasty food and the BEST berry Sangria I've ever had! Plan to arrive right at opening as this place gets pretty busy. They have lunch specials for very reasonable prices. I recommend the shrimp clam chowder soup if you get the lunch special that comes with a soup or salad. My favorite resturant in Rapid City thus far! Will definitely eat here on future trips.

I'm a "dessert as the appetizer" kind of guy. When you order the molten chocolate thing, you had BETTER be for real. It fits on a dinner plate! FOR REAL. Tasty, creamy and happily satisfying. The Grilled Chicken & Strawberry Lunch Salad was ample and fresh. All those flavors and textures in a bowl are MY happy place. I'll be back to try something else cause the service was very good (I don't like being hovered over nor ignored).

Great atmosphere, very nice staff, we were there for lunch. Definitely recommend.

Longhorn is a great place to stop for lunch or dinner. There are several lunch specials that include a main entree plus your choice of soup, salad or side. The Strawberry Chicken Salad is a great choice for lunch. For dinner, I highly recommend the Parmesan Crusted Chicken or Flo’s Filet. The Loaded Baked Potatoes are a personal favorite too. If you can spare an additional 2400 calories :), I recommend the Chocolate Stampede for dessert. ❤️

Food was amazing, but pricing was not up front. My wife ordered a steak salad and was content with that. The server told her to get a side because it’s included, so she went ahead and ordered a side. I did the same. Then the bill came and apparently both of our sides were signature sides 🙄. Why would you encourage someone to order a free side, then not correct them if they ordered a side that was not included? On top of that, I ordered a corn on the cob because it was an additional $2.79 with an entree purchase. Well, it ended up being almost $6. None was corrected when we brought to her attention. So we spent an extra $10 for no reason. Disappointing, because the food is so delicious and this is our second straight bad experience.

This is an amazing place for dinner no matter what state you're in. But this one here in Rapid City, South Dakota is above and beyond five stars. The staff and management here are the best from the time you walk through the door too paying the bill . My daughter can't have some stuff to eat and they caught it and stop her from eating it I'm so proud of the staff looking out that way for my family so they don't get sick while out enjoying and great meal the food was amazing and delicious the price was great I got out of there for half what I thought it was going to cost me . I definitely recommend this as a dinner or lunch stop when in Rapid City, South Dakota
