I had a bad experience selling my clothes here. The staff seem very disorganized. They lost my receipt and my clothes. One of the staff but my clothes is another clients bin. It’s a good thing I was able to find my clothes—they could’ve given to the other customer. Before I was even able to look for my clothes, she handed my half empty bag and was like here you go, and I told her there was a lot of clothes missing. I would suggest selling at other locations. If you do end up selling here keep an eye on them and make sure they return all your clothes back. The staff wasn’t even apologetic. Terrible customer service.

Amazing collection and very helpful, fun ladies who obviously love their job. I got a pair of Calvin Klein pants with the labels still on for $14. A pretty much brand new Eddie Bauer jeans for $14 and an almost new Hush Puppies sandals for $15 - guilt free, feel good shopping 🛍 👌 ❤️

I stumbled across the Richmond Hill store, not long ago. I had some brand new clothes and purses with tags on and also one pair of designer shoes. They said they have to get the shoes, authenticated, which they did. The prices that they offer are extremely low, and the owner takes a very high profit. Although I understand that they assume some element of risk because they hand out the money right away, but when you hand them 10 or 15 great items including brand new shoes and boots and end up with eight dollars in your pocket, it’s really ridiculous. When I asked them about some of the items, they told me that people only want designer, and items like coach and nine W. and Kate Spade, or not designer. I guess that’s their excuse for not giving you much money for these items . As for the designer shoes that I took in, I found a pair in the exact same condition on a website and they were being sold for $380. And he was only giving me $60. I may shop there but will not be selling them any of my items.

Don’t sell your stuff here! I brought in a bag of stuff and they took over 2 hours to process. There was a pair of men’s Gucci sneakers and one employee tried them on right in front of me! So disrespectful and rude. He didn’t even end up buying them either because they were men’s. So why did he try them on and why did he make me wait 2 hours? Luckily I was in the store and saw this so I knew to disinfect my shoes. This is the worst style encore store I have ever been to. Plus the prices they pay for your items are way below what other stores pay. Beware!

First time coming here with my BRAND NEW clothes WITH TAGS ON THEM to sell here, got a total of about $21.00 for them. (A total of 3 jeans, 1 sparkly jumpsuit, 1 pair of Clark’s sandals and 1 navy blue purse.) Also since I had to wait I asked to use the washroom, the male associate told me they didn’t have one and told me to go to Winners while my clothes were being processed. Then when I came back I decided to go shopping in there and guess what..? Another lady asked to use the washroom and she was brought to the back with no problems whatsoever. I confronted him and asked him why he told me there was “no washroom available” earlier. His response was that they short staffed when I needed it. Yet I saw the same three people working there… as I did when I first came in.

Style Encore is a hidden gem! The variety of clothes is impressive, ranging from vintage classics to modern trends. Prices are incredibly reasonable, making it a budget-friendly option for unique finds. The staff is friendly and helpful, making the shopping experience enjoyable.

Don’t waste your time selling here . I’ve been a few times they never take anything even if it has tags, I came by today at 443 pm as they say they take buys up until an hour before closing. For the lady say no it’s 2 hours. When I mentioned the fact they have told me in the past it’s 1 hour the guy said sometimes it is. Sometimes ? Well which is it ? You can’t have both ways. STAY AWAY unless you want to waste your time

I'm giving this a 1 star because I was told by multiple employees that I could bring my clothes to sell. I drive half an hour to get there and they tell me they only take women's clothes. Two separate employees (one from Style Encore and one from Plato's) told me I could bring my men's formal wear. I wasted time and gas for nothing.

If I could put zero, I would. They put a sticker on shoe and on the cash the male associate and the asian lady didn’t honour the price and they wanted to increase the number because they made a mistake and they said since it’s a private business we do as we please.

There are far better second hand shops around than this one. Very low offers if you have items to sell, and not great condition inventory, considering they state how strict their intake policy is.

Have dealt with them only once through Instagram and will be buying from them regularly now. Super friendly, helpful and quick shipping process. I got sneakers and absolutely love them they are like brand new. I highly recommend every shop at Style Encore Richmond Hill.

They have some really nice gently used designer clothes for women and men. The workers are also very friendly. I was recently helped by April and she picked out some really nice clothes for me based on what I was looking for. I highly recommend this store.

This is a treasure store, cloth,handbags, jewelry …including some luxurious brand. However sometimes it is hard to find what you really like. It is great to meet staff like April. She is passionate about fashion, her helpfulness and kindness make the shopping experience even more enjoyable. On my last visit, she recommended a stunning handbag from Patricia nash, a brand I had never heard of before. I instantly fell in love with it and couldn't resist making it mine.

My first time to this store. Went to ‘sell’ items. Did not feel comfortable. Felt being looked down. Felt rushed. Staff not welcoming. Was informed about hour delay. Had to stay in the premises until text received from the store notifying that items had been processed and to return before 6:30pm to pick up the items otherwise, would have to deal with the strict pick up policy. Once returned to the store, was shocked at the very low prices offered for my designer items. They pay next to nothing for the items. Basically, you get half of what they presumably sell! I took all my items and ran out of the store as fast as I could! Not returning to this store!!!

Amazing selections and great price! I came all the way from 30 mins away and got almost 20 items with a really good deal! Definitely will come back!

A great store to both buy and sell! :) I recently brought in a bag of items to sell and the ladies at the counter were professional, friendly, and made me feel welcome. They accepted a decent number of my items with a very fair payout. I didn’t have time to shop but did a quick browse around the store and could tell they have a nice selection of pieces that are well-priced. I’ll definitely come back to sell again and to shop next time!
