Avoiding the lower floor of this hotel if you are a light sleeper. I initially stayed in a room at the 3rd floor and could feel the train passing through the building in the morning. Noise from the street is loud at night too. Once I requested to move to the higher floor, all issues were gone. The service from the reception honestly were great. The room is spacious and comfort. The view is stunning. Very conveniently located. Lots of restaurants around.

This hotel was awesome. I usually don't give such high reviews. But they deserve it. The staff at the hotel desk was very accommodating very nice, and spoke English made me feel very welcome .We were celebrating our anniversary and they gave us robe and a bottle of wine and cookies. when I put in a request for extra towels, they bought it promptly. The breakfast was good nothing that stood out. But I would highly recommend this hotel the views are stunning, huge windows very clean with the view of the Eiffel Tower. I can't wait to go back.

I was very pleased with my stay at this Marriott. The staff was extremely accommodating and welcoming, and went all out to make our stay fabulous. I was especially impressed by the wonderful service from the restaurant and bar staff including the lovely supervisor. The location is very convenient jumping off point to all sites in Paris so you can go sightseeing, comeback to your room to relax, and then head back out. Thank you for helping make our trip so wonderful.

Great hotel with nice views and a good location. Reuben did an excellent job checking us in. He explained everything about the motel, our room location and took the extra time to give us a few tips for what to do in Paris. He gave us a great first impression of the hotel. We had two rooms and he made sure they were on the same floor and even got us checked into one early. The rooms are very clean and well decorated. We had a great view of the Eiffel Tower from our room. The location is great with a Metro entrance right next to the motel. This is a great place to stay. You won't be disappointed.

If you are looking for an hotel with larger room s, functional, modern with some rooms overlooking Paris, then this is a good place. Guest service was also fairly good. However, hotel feels very corporate and lack charm. The biggest disappointment for me was that This hotel doesn’t care at all about your status. No welcome, no thank you for being a member, no upgrade, no double free breakfast. Just 16 euros per day not cumulative. If i stick with Marriott is to leverage some benefits but if there is close to none, then i would rather enjoy much more charming places.

The good: good location, close to restaurants and metro station, the restaurant staff are friendly, front desk staff have very good (albeit fake) smiles, hotel feels modern, breakfast options are okay. Good view of the river, and I could just make out the Eiffel Tower. The bad: little things that this brand will give you for free in other parts of the world (room upgrades, late check outs, umbrella loans) you will need to for here - everything has a price (this is more a criticism of Europe rather than this hotel brand). The bed in my room was a very cheap fold-up kind which I was stunned to see in a 4-star hotel. The bath/shower is raised up so the step out of the shower onto the flood is quite steep (see photo) so I would not recommend for the elderly of those with mobility issues.

Overall I had pleasant stay here in Courtyard. The room with Eiffel tower view is stunning. You can see every single famous signs of the city both during day and night. The room is spacious and quiet, as well as the location is convenient. There are a few things that need to be improved. 1. The internet did not work during my 6 days’ stay. I need to go somewhere else to work. 2. The water pressure is not strong. It might be common in residential building in Paris but as a 4 star hotel. I expected something better.

**5-Star Review: Exceptional Stay at Courtyard Gare De Lyon, Paris** From the moment I checked in to the Courtyard Gare De Lyon in Paris, I knew my stay was going to be nothing short of spectacular. The star of my experience was undoubtedly Jimmy at the front office. His assistance and warm hospitality were unmatched, making him the Man of the Match in my eyes. Whether I had inquiries about the city or needed help with hotel services, Jimmy was there to ensure everything was taken care of smoothly and efficiently. His professionalism and kindness truly made my stay memorable. The gym facilities at the hotel were absolutely perfect, equipped with everything I needed for a comprehensive workout. It's clear that the hotel prioritizes the wellness and fitness of its guests, providing a clean, modern, and well-maintained space to exercise. After a long day of exploring Paris or a rigorous workout session, there was nothing more refreshing than enjoying a drink from the bar. The quality of the beverages was top-notch, with a great selection that catered to all tastes. Each drink was expertly crafted, making my evenings at the hotel even more enjoyable. Overall, my stay at the Courtyard Gare De Lyon was exceptional. Thanks to Jimmy's outstanding service, the superb gym, and the delightful drinks from the bar, my time in Paris was truly enhanced, with a lot of Restaurant near the hotelby. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, friendly, and convenient place to stay in the heart of the city. ---

We went here on our honeymoon and had a great time! Hotel room was spacious and we got a pretty decent view. We stayed on points and we’re upgraded to a suite with a view of a clock tower out the window. The front desk people and the people in the restaurant were all very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean. No bed bugs spotted at all (and we did look). The shower was a bit weird to us (it had no door) but that wasn’t an issue. Also in a great centralized location. We would definitely stay here again!

We had a wonderful two night stay in this very new hotel. The rooms are very roomy and well appointed. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. There is very good security at the hotel, as well as a very good restaurant and bar. Maybe the best feature was the great air conditioned and quiet rooms. I highly recommend upgrading to the Eiffel Tower view. Though there are plenty of good restaurants around the hotel, you will need to take a car or train to most of the local attractions.

The courtyard Marriott legit made my dreams come true. I have stayed at so many Marriott before and never received such exceptional service! It was our honeymoon and they surprised us and decorated our room. They even had chocolate and champagne waiting. We also were able to check in early and the general manager and team have gone above and beyond. I am so grateful and recommend you stay here. Everyone is so nice, amazing views and great service. Thank you so much again

The location is perfect, right across from a major train station so you can hop on a train and go anywhere conveniently! Tons of restaurants and cafés everywhere! The staff is extremely friendly and the hotel itself is modern and clean with amazing views. Excellent breakfast as well. Loved it!

Decent view. Modern. Elevators are great. Bathroom OK. Air-conditioning is rubbish. Doesn't work properly. Wasn't made to feel particularly welcome at check in. Room cleaning was super late (after 5pm) and inadequate (sheets not changed). Location is handy to the station and plenty of local bars and restaurants, but quite long way from the main attractions in Paris. Not worth the price charged.

Posting this review in the middle of the night because the noise in the room is so loud that I can’t fall asleep at all. As a Marriott loyalty member I was extremely disappointed at this stay. Yes this hotel looks new and location is good. But there are so many problems. 1. They don’t check if the room is ready before they give it to the customer. The toilet seat in our room was broken when we checked in. Thankfully a technician was able to fix that. 2. There was loud running water noises (later found out it was by ventilation system but there was no way to turn it off) from the bathroom. It was so loud that we weren’t able to get any sleep. The hotel wasn’t able to do anything and refused to get us a new room. They claimed the hotel was full but there were several rooms available for sale on their website. Our stay was redeemed by Marriott reward points. I guess they’d rather to keep the rooms for the customers that pay last minute with cash than providing a good service for their loyal customers.

The only hotel we will stay at. Next to the train station for Paris Disney, exceptional staff in every area of the hotel, and easy to get to most tourist locations in Paris (15 min taxi/uber). Breakfast has a wide variety of culture and dinner did not disappoint either. The receptionist are well spoken in many languages and can help you at the chance they get. Great job everyone!

Not bad but… my room got skipped for daily service. I called and asked for re-service and they said no! I asked to replenish the 2 small water bottles and they said they don’t do that and I need to buy them for 3€ per 500ml bottle. I walked across the street to a market and purchased 3 water bottles for 1.5€ per 1 liter bottle. This is how Marriott is treating Gold Elite members these days!

Spectacular stay. The hotel is VERY modern and up to date, which is a plus compared to the amount of outdated hotels you tend to see in Paris. The breakfast is awesome, great selection, the seating area is ample, and the staff is lovely. The rooms are extremely clean, very spacious and if you are lucky like I was you can get a view of the Eiffel Tower and the Pantheon. The restaurant food was great and very convenient.

Conveniently near restaurants and other locations. There’s restaurants nearby or you can dine in the hotel’s restaurant. Upon arrival, guest are greeted by warm staff and given a complimentary card to receive drinks at the hotel bar. Our room had a wonderful view of the city and there’s a Starbucks next door. Within walking distance, there’s a small market where you can purchase fresh produce, coffee, and more. Be sure to bring your universal charger and enjoy Paris

Wonderful hotel from the check-in. Friendly staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds, and an amazing view. Breakfast was incredible. Didn’t want to leave although had to get going and see Paris. Thanks to the staff as they made the stay that much better. The location is perfect as the train station is right around the corner. I would definitely stay here when I’m in Paris.

This has become our go to accommodation choice when visiting Paris. The hotel is very good, as you would expect of a Marriott property but we stay here primarily for its location. Across from Gare du Nord, taxis are readily available, or you can access the metro at the train station, if you prefer. It also has great, walkable areas nearby.

Location is really good, very close to train station and lots of restaurants in the area. Room was the smallest of our family trip. Very modern and great distance view to Eiffel Tower.

We stayed here late June and were very satisfied with our stay. The staff were very helpful and wonderful to work with. The staff in the restaurant went above and beyond to ensure our stay and meals were amazing. The breakfast had a large amount of options and all the choices were great. When we wanted wine for our room, the staff went our of their way to help us get all that we wanted to our room. That was amazing! The room was comfortable and clean. The location was great because it is near several train stations and subways. We were able to get to all the attractions and Versailles from one of the stations. There were several options for restaurants nearby, including a Starbucks and mall shopping at the train station. We will definitely stay here on our next visit to Paris.

This hotel is in a great location, close to the main train station Gare De Lyon (2 minutes walk), which allows you to connect to all public transport lines in Paris, its regional areas and across France. Hotel staff is friendly and helpful. Room is clean and well dressed everyday. Family of four (2 adults and 2 kids) could consider booking for a family room, which includes one Queen size bed and a sofa bed.

The food was good however the location is pretty far from the airport terminals (especially at night walking in the rain and cold) but the rooms are nice and the staff was very friendly. Overall I would recommend staying here but expect a good walk (and possibly the airport train) to get there.

We had our honeymoon here in September 2023. The services provided were prompt and friendly. Hotel is clean and new which is much appreciated . We got the room with a nice view of Paris and her Eiffel Tower. Such a pity we didn’t spend much time in our room as there are just so many things to do in Paris . Most importantly it is walking distance (with luggages) from Gare de Lyon. Got a number of purchases delivered to the hotel and it was all well-received . Special thanks to Giselle and team for the lovely surprises from the hotel to welcome us which made us feel that this is more than a hotel stay .

I recently had a wonderful stay at Courtyard by Marriott Paris Gare de Lyon. One of the highlights was the exceptional service at reception. I arrived early at 9am, tired from my journey, and to my pleasant surprise, the reception staff went out of their way to find a room for me to check in immediately. This is quite rare in my travel experience, as I usually have to wait until the afternoon. Being able to refresh and settle in right away made a significant difference in starting my day in Paris on a positive note. The room itself was immaculate – very clean and well-maintained. I was also impressed with the hotel's convenient location, just a stone's throw from the train station and Metro, making it easy to explore the city. A small but notable feature was the ability to easily cast content from my phone to the TV – a modern touch that I particularly enjoyed. Additionally, the Wi-Fi was both strong and fast, which is always appreciated when traveling. Overall, my stay was fantastic, and I highly recommend Courtyard by Marriott Paris Gare de Lyon for anyone looking for a comfortable and convenient stay in Paris. They truly understand the needs of a traveler and go above and beyond to accommodate. A solid 5-star experience!"

The hotel is clean, bright, and inviting, however, what makes the hotel exceptional are the professional, friendly staff and management. All of the staff were welcoming, accommodating, friendly, and nice. We were celebrating our 27th anniversary, the trip was originally planned for 2020, but because of Covid-19, we had to reschedule. The staff made our stay very special and for that we are most appreciative. The room was big, bright, and clean. The breakfast buffet was wonderful. We had dinner one night in the hotel and the food was delicious and the service excellent. The hotel is in close proximity to many good restaurants and the city's Metro. We look forward to visiting the Courtyard Gare de Lyon in the near future.

Incredible stay. Everything was perfect from checkin to check out. I was upgraded to a room with a stunning view on the river and Eiffel Tower. I also really appreciated all the features in my room that made my stay very pleasant. It’s all in the details! Finally, the food downstairs was excellent and I was able to be in front of the giant screen to watch the World Cup !

We stayed here one night when we had a long layover in Paris. The staff are super nice. The rooms are very clean and we had an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower as well as Montmartre in the distance. The hotel is 30 minute drive to CDG, without traffic.

We had a wonderful stay at this Marriott when we were in Paris. It’s located right beside a metro station so it’s very convenient to get to many places. The breakfast buffet at this hotel is great but the service is amazing and I would definitely stay here again. Even though my room had a couple of issues they were quick to resolve. I’d like to recognize 2 individuals that work at the front desk: Reuben & Alix. These 2 individuals were so friendly and always were there to answer multiple questions with a great big smile & in my opinion went above and beyond my expectations when it came to service.

Great one night stay as a bridge hotel. Room was very large and clean. Staff was also very nice and we were offered a welcome drink for being bonvoy members. Location is a little far from tourist areas but it is close to the metro so you can anywhere fairly easily.

  • 5/5 Kristina M. 10 months ago on Google
The staff were so kind and helpful. The rooms were clean but needed some things to fix in my room - a large coffee stain on the floor and rotting baseboards that I couldn’t tell had mold on them. Great location, great staff, lots of places to walk to and access to public transport. Overall a great experience.

The location is good with a great view of the Eiffel tower from the room. However the room is super small and bathroom even more cramped. The staff at reception are exceptionally confused so proceed with patience and good humour!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Marriott Hotel in Paris, and I must say, the experience was exceptional, thanks in no small part to Giselle. From the moment I checked in until the day of my departure, Giselle provided top-notch service that made my stay truly memorable. Giselle's professionalism and attention to detail were evident in every interaction. She warmly welcomed me and ensured that the check-in process was seamless. Throughout my stay, she went above and beyond to accommodate my requests, whether it was arranging transportation, providing local recommendations, or ensuring my room was kept immaculate. What stood out most about Giselle was her genuine passion for ensuring guests have a wonderful experience. Her personalized service and friendly demeanor made me feel like a valued guest, and I truly appreciated her efforts to make my stay in Paris as enjoyable as possible. The Marriott Hotel itself was also impressive, with comfortable rooms, excellent dining options, and a central location that made exploring the city a breeze. However, it was Giselle's exceptional service that truly made this stay unforgettable. I can confidently say that her dedication and hospitality set a standard for excellence in the hospitality industry. If you're planning a trip to Paris and want to experience outstanding service, I highly recommend staying at the Marriott and requesting assistance from the exceptional Giselle. She will undoubtedly make your stay as memorable as mine.

Make sure to use Hᴏᴛᴇʟʙoʟʟʏ.ᴄᴏm when booking any room. They compare hundreds of booking web sites and typically will have rates a lot cheaper compared to others! Thank me later! This place is the best rated in the area. I've been coming here for a long time. If you decide to stay here you definitely won't regret it. We’ve had an exceptional stay at this hotel. The staff was beyond accommodating for our large group of families, very patient with our needs, and they were flexible and kind to our kids. The staff ensured our needs were met! We would definitely stay here again!
