It wasn’t the nicest hotel I’ve stayed in but it def served the purpose. For one night it was fine. Not sure if they offer A/C but it certainly wasn’t in our room, for a hot summer night it was too warm, I couldn’t sleep at all. The breakfast room was nice and breakfast was also good. Fine selection for the price. The staff was lovely too.

Absolutely a terrible experience. Our room was so dirty. The sink was over flowed and the fridge never worked. We complained to the receptionist and he supposed to report to the manager which never happened. The only good thing about it was the location.Don't even waste your time to spend a penny for this filthy place.

Close to the city and the North train station. The room was big, but I wish some of that space would have gone to the bathroom instead. The drains were a bit clogged, entrance was closed so we had to go in through another hotel and the elevator could not be called from our floor so in general it felt a little run down. But it was decent price and close to the station which was what we were looking for.

Very misunderstood hotel.i can't understand why it has so bad reviews when and the staff and the room was completely fine. Breakfast was decent with fresh fruit croissant and baguettes.it has 24/7 hot water and heated well. is 100 meter from the metro and 700 metre from the train station.the only bad but ok things is the wifi is very slow and the elevator it small and slow also

Three or almost three stars hotel, very well located, good value for money. Really slow internet which is rather strange in the twenty first century, however seems to be enough for browsing the pages. The breakfast is so so taking into account Brussels conditions. Anyway, They should employ cook or somebody who knows how to prepare good scramble eggs. In general I would recommend the hotel mainly because of the competitive prices

The shower was broken, there was hair in the sink, and the toilet didn't flush properly. I was able to hear any noise from the corridor, the doors are very old. The whole room needs a renovation.

We had reserved 5 rooms (7persons) for a businesses trip. Location is good and easy to find. The hotell was really disappointing. The service was rude. They claimed we don't have breakfast included although our reservation said it is. The elevator was horrifying, and can only take you to 6st floor. After that it's not working and you must take the stairs. The hallway and the rooms had a dirty carpet that gives you allergy. The walls are dirty. One of my group members had to change the room - there were dirty towels and stuff in her room when she entered. In the other room, the toilet was unclean and not eaven flushed! In my room, the electricity wasn't working in the toilet. You can hear everything that is happening in the corridor or next rooms. You don't need your own alarm clock, the one next door will wake you up if you have a chance to get some sleep. In the end, the breakfast was ok and we were given a late check out for one hour. This was nice.

A Nightmarish Stay – Avoid This Hotel at All Costs! I recently had the misfortune of staying at this hotel for one night, and I feel compelled to share my experience to warn other travelers. It was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. The room I was assigned to was plagued with mold, which was not limited to just one area but had invaded the bathroom, the room's walls, and even the curtain in the shower. The state of hygiene was simply appalling. To make matters worse, the toilet brush in the bathroom was not only dirty but looked like it hadn't been replaced in ages. This level of neglect is unacceptable for any hotel. I cannot stress enough how important it is to maintain cleanliness and hygiene in a hospitality establishment, and this hotel failed miserably in this regard. I strongly advise fellow travelers to steer clear of this place and choose a more suitable and hygienic accommodation for their stay. Save yourself the disappointment and discomfort that I endured during my one-night stay here. There are far better options available in the area, and this hotel should be at the bottom of your list. Your travel experience will thank you for it! After showing the picture as we checked out, they didn't care at all and didn't offer us any opportunity to make it up, like a reimbursement! It was the room Nr. 412!

Decent hotel. Small rooms, good service, central location. Vending machines does not accept cards. You would need cash.

DON'T WALK, RUN away from this hotel. It is not cheap, so we thought it was OK. Not so. Reception had long line and was slow (even went away for 15 min. while we waited), very small triangular room with tiny bed (to fit in), bathroom with a pilar in the middle (not joking), radiator missing, filthy with mold on walls, poor/unusable wifi, fridge with unhealthy appearance, etc. List is long. My advice: don't!

  • 1/5 La Micha s. 1 year ago on Google
The first room we got had a huge stain on the side of the bed , so I went downstairs to ask the reception for help and they gave me a new room with a broken toilet seat, they told me someone will fix it after we leave. The corridors had a bad smell If you have other options I strongly suggest not to stay here.

If you keep your expectation is low you will not be disappointed. The location is OK. Price is quite good. It is very close to the nord Brüksel station. You can easily reach main streets and Grote Markt by walking within 10 minutes.

Me and my partner stayed here for 3 nights. Really couldn’t ask for anything more. The room was clean and the bathroom too. The water pressure on the shower was great. A lot of complaints on here talk about the noise, but this hotel is in the middle of Brussels so what did they expect? I will definitely be coming back here again, the Christmas market only a 15 minute walk from the hotel!

Room was dirty, not cleaned. Also bathroom was very moldy and it felt like you can't breathe there. Staff was friendly so that is almost only positive thing about hotel.

This hotel is located at the perfect location in brussels city. It is very close to the Rogier station almost at a walking distance and visiting all major tourist attractions like Grand place, Mannequin takes around 20 to 30 min by train. The rooms of this hotel are very neat and clean. A lot of good restaurants are present nearby especially one Indian restaurant which serves Hyderabadi Biryani is located just next to it. I would like to visit again here in the future.

Friendly staff. Clean. Good location for transport. The pros end there. The walls between rooms are paper thin. The inside of the hotel is noisier than all the cars, trams etc just outside the window. Showers were cold after a long time waiting for heat. Room furnishing is outdated and sparse but clean. Few sockets and none within easy reach of bed.

We had to check in/out via hotel next to Hotel Siru, unsure of reason. Staff very helpful and friendly. Safe room to store luggage whilst exploring if arrive before check in or have late flight on day of departure. Don't use the lift if your claustrophobic, small service lift, we opted for stairs. Room was basic, comfortable bed, apart from the flat sheet kept slipping off mattress. Decent bathroom and shower. Kettle and fridge and TV. Easy check in/check out process. More expensive than I'd expect for a very basic room, but a comfortable stay and close to brussel noord Station and 15min walk into grand Place.

The hotel has tinniest rooms. And the cleanliness was so bad. Washrooms were dirty. Room was untidy when we went. Asked tk change the room but management did not listen. And we had booked and payed earlier so we compromised. But it was one of the top worst hotels i have been to. Patheitc. All points are to its location and nothing else.

We don't stop playing because we grow old; we grow old because we stop playing. The hotel is ok. But the rooms are not. Old & in need of renovation. Historical buildings can be updated too, especially in usability, design and marketing. I felt like the Pink Panther after one night, I had to stay 4 nights 😅. Not worth the money and energy.

  • 1/5 Marco L. 9 months ago on Google
. Klnnte noch viel mehr schreiben, aber.... . Mein persönliches Fazit: ICH WERDE ES NIE WIEDER BUCHEN!!!!!

The only thing this hotel has is a good location, I do not recommend it at all.

  • 3/5 Brandon D. 10 months ago on Google
In a way, this is the worst place I've ever stayed. However, it was clean enough for me, and the simplicity meant that it was very affordable. My priority was a brief stop to get a few hours of sleep after traveling from the western United States. It satisfied that need and I can't say I regret going. If you're on a tight budget and need something in this area, just be aware that you're getting what you pay for. Also, the entrance was extremely difficult to find, so come prepared for that.

This hotel was in a great location walking distance to the center. Desk staff upon checkin was very nice and gave us a new room without question when our first room smelled like smoke, although it seems like many people smoke in Europe. Breakfast was OK but we happily ate since it was included.

  • 4/5 Konstantinos R. 4 years ago on Google
Excellent location, 50 meters from Rogier Place metro station. The rooms are a bit old and could definitely be renovated or improved in some way. On the other hand, I have to admit my room was really clean. Overall, I'd say I was quite satisfied.

Nice hotel close to Brussels Nord station. Just 5 min. Walk. Close to city centre. Wonderful breakfast. Bus stop just opposite, shopping area just 2 min walk. Good staff. Good cleanliness.

I developed a sort of liking for Hotel Siru over the course of my short stay, but I have to admit my first impression had not been good. My room looked (and smelled) old, apparently furnished at random, and with the crowning gem of a massive pillar standing right in the middle of the bathroom, forcing me to take detours when moving between washbasin, toilet and bathtub. Other than that, my stay was overall pleasant. The staff is very nice, the breakfast was admittedly well above average, and the hotel could probably not be more conveniently located.

  • 4/5 Cristian T. 4 years ago on Google
Nice hotel. Clean rooms and a very good breakfast. The staff is very friendly. It is very close to the city center, reachable on foot. Also close to tram lines with good connections and to the Gare du Nord.

  • 3/5 Elena M. 4 years ago on Google
Overall a pleasant stay. It was clean, and the breakfast was decent. Located minutes away from noord train station and minutes away from the pedestrian area with all the shops. The rooms are quite small. The mirror in our room was cracked, and a couple of the picture frames in the hall were broken too. The lift was a nightmare, we were located on the 6th floor and could take up to 5 minutes for the lift to arrive. We didn't mind taking the stairs but it is a long way up and down. Staff was helpful but a little slow as they were checking in the hotel next door too. It was definitely value for money, at 170 for 2 nights (weekend) with 2 people sharing. Definitely a no frills Hotel.

Have to give 4 stars because of the value for money. Excellent location. Room v basic and fairly tired but clean and excellent price for location. Here on a cycling holiday and hotel allowed us to store our bikes inside. Really friendly / helpful staff.

Decent value. The Bad: – The toilets aren't the best. The flush wasn't working well. Give it a few or more than few times, then it works well, eventually. Maybe I was unlucky? - Intercom to the front desk didnt go through. Don't know if it even works at all. 50-50. Unlucky again? - Room had damages on the wall, but regardless, the room was fine. Doesn't bother me,.it was just somewhere in the corner. -Hot water wasn't hot, just neutral water temperature. Confirmed with some other guests too. So please make sure if you are ok with this. -No locker, atleast in my room. My college had a locker in his room. - Breakfast wasn´t great, just the bare necessities. Bread, juice, cold meat, more, juice, cereal. Just expected something more, however I sometimes forget,. that this is Europe. The Good: – The staff, they were super duper friendly..no issues whatsoever. They even swapped out and the new person there was also nice. -The check-in process. And the check-out Process. Super super easy, show your id card and nothing else. No vaccination, no corona test, nothing. Just your ID Card. They take care of the rest. -They held our luggages for us when we arrived early. Nearly for about 8 hours since morning to check-in and about 8 hours after checkout. Yes after checkout. -The Brussels Nord station is extremely close. Catch your train in just 5 mins. This is a big big win, you don't have to rush at all and no morning taxi rides. -It is also extremely close to the city center. Walk across the street and you have a plethora of stores, even the big brands. Honestly despite the bad, the service is half of the adventure and I love the service. Some of the points in the bad can be adjusted and fixed, but dint bother me tooo much. Just thought other travellers should know. Booked on Booking.com and was within 70 per night - Including breakfast.

Hotel Siru has been providing an awful support service. Booked a trip for March. Due to covid 19 I changed the dates to November 2020 - with an extra fee! Now, again, due to covid-19, the hotel is not able to provide my stay. I asked for a refund and they refused it. It is inadmissible! also they take ages to answer their clients. Super bad service and support. Please do not book stays in this hotel!

Just a budget hotel. Rooms are a bit in the early 00c and could definitely do with a refresh. Breakfast was pretty good. Fresh croissants were my favorite. However there is only one small elevator, which is not enough for serving all the guests.

Great location near metro and bus stop. Polite and helpful staff. Breakfast is rather poor and the rooms a bit old, but the cleaning is good. Good value for money and the right choice for a business trip.

  • 1/5 Weronika . 1 year ago on Google
This was one of the worst stays I ever had. For the relatively high price, the standards of the hotel are very low. Firstly, it is very difficult to find the entrance, as those are three hotels merged into one, and only one entrance is open. Secondly, there is only one reception for those three hotels. Thus, check-in was very long. Thirdly, the elevators are extremely tiny and it is difficult to fit with a small bag in it. Fourthly, the key card kept uncoding as apparently you cannot keep it close to your phone. But even after someone informed me about it and I kept key card in a separate purse, it still would uncode after 20 minutes. So whenever I wanted to open my room, I had to go through those three hotels to the reception so they would code my card again. There was no shampoo, and working hairdryer in my room. They provided me with a substitution but I had to go to the reception several times a day. Lastly, as it was a business trip I needed an invoice. However, the receptionist gave me only proforma invoice and I had to call them daily for more than a week to receive the final invoice.

In a decent location, about 5 to 10 minutes walk into the main town and square. We had a room in one of the turrets which was quite spacious but very tired looking, could do with redecoration. The lift broke whilst we were there but the staff did help us up to the 7th floor with our cases and it was fixed overnight

  • 4/5 Lucy H. 1 year ago on Google
Great if you want to base in Brussels as it is close to the main sites. The rooms are small and it was noisy in the morning but were clean. Reception was very helpful.

Had a good stay in Room 308 this August. The staff are friendly at the hotel, shoutout to Fabien. I recommend booking the deluxe room for a super amazing view to Rogier Metro Station, room was a decent size, shower pressure was great. Very close to Brussels Nord and the town centre for out of Brussels City breaks

Good location and ok breakfast, but everything else catastrophic. It does not have its own reception (you go to the neighbouring hotel), room was small, dusty and cold, so-called king-size bed had 140 cm and was full of long black hair, everything is old and shaby, you hear everything on the floor, the doorlock was busted, we stayed on the 6th floor and water there had not much preasure but what was worse, it was only cold water. The room telephone rang twice at night and woke us up. We told it to the receptionist the next morning, who said it was probably a ghost calling and that the water would be fixed in an hour and when we ask about some refund he said he would have to ask a manager - but instead he told us to call the manager ourselves, because that´s what a competence in this hotel looks like. We returned to the room in the evening and for a change the water was not running at all - feel free to think it though. Warm water, altough brown, was running in the morning when we left. Bottomline - NEVER EVER AGAIN and we paid a full price - no refund. BTW we tried to change the hotel for the second night but we had a trip outside Brussel scheduled and could not check-out of the room till the evening and so we would have to pay the second night anyway... no helpfullness in this case neither.

I would highly recommend the Hotel Siru to anyone looking for a great stay in Brussels. In particular, Fatima is the best hotel receptionist I've ever met. She was so friendly and helpful, and she went above and beyond to make sure I had a great stay at the Hotel Siru. When I arrived at the hotel, Fatima greeted me with a warm smile and a friendly welcome. She helped me check in quickly and efficiently, and she answered all of my questions about the hotel and the city. She was always available to help me with anything I needed. Fatima is a big part of what makes this hotel so special, and she is sure to make your stay unforgettable.

The hotel was under all kinds of criticism, the rooms smelled absurdly like mothballs, there was no ventilation despite the windows in the room being open all day, extreme dirtiness, the cistern of the toilet bowl was black. This hotel looked like a brothel. In the lobby of the hotel, one of the ladies was robbed, in the presence of the 3rd person. There was no empathy from the front desk staff. We asked the guy at the front desk to call the hotel manager to check the cameras but the manager never came after promising on the phone to come in the morning. In the morning we again asked the staff to call him, then he said he would come in the afternoon, we left a contact number for him to call when he was at the hotel, he never called.
