Such a nice place for delicious smoothies and great coffee. I especially like this location because of the delightful young lady who handles orders. It's also usually very quiet and peaceful and perfect for getting work done.

Great ambience and seating area between south beach and chinatown, a few blocks from ferry building (and the bay). Service and food were ok, Green tonic juice lacked the taste and was watery (too many cucumbers?). Sandwiches were also average, I wasn't a big fan of the bread and how they were each put in a pink thin box. I like my pastries boxed and dolled up, not my sandwiches, but some may find it cute. We waited in line after the big marathon in town for 20 minutes only to get to almost front of the line where the person in front of us got told that the shop was very busy and they were no longer taking orders from the people in the line. That person left but I ignored the comment and stayed there for a few more minutes and they again started taking line orders. It probably would have been faster to just order online from the get go. I'll stop by again if I want a peaceful place to sit for some time but not for the food.

I love Joe & the Juice and their products, but the team at this location is incredibly slow and usually not very friendly every single time I come here. Today I placed an order for pickup for 1 sandwich and 1 juice at 2:32 pm. I arrived there at about 2:40 pm and didn’t get my order until 3:03. A 30 minute wait for a sandwich and a juice? I’d be more understanding if the place was super busy or the team was understaffed but neither seemed to be the case. The two workers were chatting and moving at a glacial pace when I inquired about my order at around 2:55, only to be told they were still waiting to make my juice. … Waiting on what? There were no other customers waiting before me. When I finally got my order, my juice was warm and not enjoyable. So frustrating.

This place is really quite fancy and delightful, and they're serving all the swankiest food and beverages to all the assiduous folks who are holding down jobs in the metropolitan downtown SF area. Most of these workers are likely commuting from somewhere outside of the city because they are sick and tired of being randomly accosted by mentally ill homeless folks who are just trying to get by and pass some time by vigorously encouraging others to hand over some change or scraps of leftover food from a previous meal. But don't focus on that right now because this review is all about the employees of this Joe & the Juice establishment that are coming to work every day and making delicious snacks and healthful meals, along with tasty beverages that are served both hot and cold, though never in the same cup at the same time. The owners and those in charge of the remodeling project really went to town on the interior setting and decorated this place in a pleasing style, with color palettes that entice the senses and create beneficial brainwaves for good feelings in your corpus. I know you will love everything they have to offer, including tons of seasonal products for sale daily.

I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Although the prices are unreasonably high, the atmosphere and the quality of the food was great. Service was slow, but I wasn't by myself so waiting wasn't an issue.

Had the Serrano ham and avocado 🥑 sandwich 🥪. It was good. Had a chai ☕️ latte. Didn’t care for it. Hardly any chai taste. Had their carrot 🥕cake 🍰 . It was not good at all.

When I arrived it was essentially empty, one of the cashiers was preoccupied with talking to a previous customer and I ended up waiting 5 minutes to be served. When it came to getting my actual drink, it took 15 minutes between ordering and receiving my drink. It felt like customers who arrived after me were prioritized and served before me. Both of my orders were incorrectly made/wrong.

Service was super slow, while it was not busy. They got our order wrong, and the sandwich we ordered came out freezing cold bread was brick hard. Only redeeming quality is that the juice itself, while overpiced, is good.
