I give 3 stars because of the amount you receive for to go order and Food is very good. Otherwise it would be a 1 star. But I asked rice for 3 people and charged shy of 18 dollars. If I would have known that I would have cooked it instead. For myself, even if the food is a 5 plus, I will never eat there or recomnd. With the amount of food that was ordered, why would I order this much freaking rice.

A hidden gem of San Francisco! It felt like a home cooked meal. The food was fresh, made to order, and tasted delicious. Atmosphere was great. The owner of the restaurant was very friendly and enthusiastic. Prices are unbeatable especially in SF. Will definitely be coming back.

Food was absolutely incredible I had their chicken Adobo, I Highly recommend it. Staff was very polite and friendly they made me and my wife feel welcomed. My one complaint and the only reason for 4 stars is the fact that they do not take credit cards and are cash only. It was an inconvenience for me to need to go find an ATM when I got the bill and found this out. In 2022 there should be no buissness that doesn't take card. But overall the inconvenience is not enough to keep me away I will be back for more of that delicious food.

My first time visiting Cali/ San Francisco and I did not enjoy my meal. I’ve ate Filipino food many times and this is my least favorite. My sisig was badly burnt and the lumpia wasn’t very tasty. There is no logic to how they take/ bring out order. you can sit and order before other patrons and there foods come out first. I got meal before the couple who I met there before I arrived. So I could have easily been on the other end of that stick. 2 customers came in while I was there, sat and waited for 15 mins and no one came to serve them and they left and I don’t think the owners even noticed. Service is not great here.. imagine after getting my order ( pictured below ) I still had to go and ask for a refil of water after My cup was empty when they brought the food out.. Also charging $6 for RICE 🍚 is UNACCEPTABLE! First time ordering an entree that is supposed to be paired with rice but is not included and from the look of the people who sat next to me ( they ordered chicken adobo ) it also did not come with rice.. I mean I get asking for extra rice but it comes with ZERO rice and then they charge you $6 for it.. yes for plain rice! The menu says good for 2-3 people which doesn’t go well for a solo/ single diner. Left feeling unfulfilled with a $30 bill for an appetizer and an entree #burntsilog. Definitely won’t be getting my money again and I would strongly AVOID this place. Only reason they get 2 star and not 1 is because the owners seemed like nice people and were friendly. But their food let them down.. QUIT charging for plain regular rice especially when you know it should be included with the entree! NOT IMPRESSED!!!

Best Filipino food I’ve ever had! I admit, I haven’t had that much filipino food. But this place really hits the spot. As far as I can tell, it’s very authentic (run by a filipino couple). The last time I was here, there were also some filipino people trying the food to see if they wanted to cater from this place, and they were raving about the food. So, you can take it from them if not from me. It’s also a pretty good deal, they give you a ton of food as you can see from the pics. Everything we’ve ordered has been great. And if you’re up for dessert, try the flan! It’s super good

I needed a dessert for Thanksgiving (that wasnt cake or pie) and decided on turon. I called around and found this place. I ordered the day before and picked it up on Thanksgiving day. The lady who took my order was very nice and didn't mind my small order. I thought the price was a little steep but I can't say enough how much everyone enjoyed my dessert. Only wish I would've ordered more lol. I am now very curious to try the rest of their menu. Thank you Pampanguena Cuisine for adding variety and yumminess to my dessert table!

I celebrated my birthday with friends here, and Josie and Lan made everything extra special. Don't forget that it is cash only (it's worth it x1,000!)

Josie the owner greeted us and welcomed us to sit anywhere. The restaurant had lobster, crab, and seahorse decorations. While we waited for our food we watched the Filipino Channels. They also offer Kamayan and preset menu for groups. ~Drinks~ I got fresh Coconut Juice, it was refreshing. ~Food~ We got Bangsilog which comes with a boneless milkfish, garlic rice, two eggs, tomato and cucumber slices. I thought the milkfish could be a little bigger. The Sisigsilog also came with garlic rice, two eggs, tomato and cucumber slices. The Sisig was topped with fresh onion and green pepper. It didn't have crunchy pieces but it was still good. We finished everything and the portion was just right. The only thing I would request for when I come back is the egg, I prefer it to be sunny side up. I would come back here again. Customer Service was great and we enjoyed our food. Overall, 3.5 Stars and rounding it to 4. ~Customer Service~ Josie was very attentive and friendly. She even took the time to chat with us for a little bit. ~Tip~ Free WIFI just ask for the password ~Notes~ -ATM Machine -Street Parking -Indoor Seating -Catering Available

I have been to Pampanguena Cuisine twice and I can say that it is one of the best Filipino restaurants in the Bay Area. The food is delicious, authentic, and affordable. My partner loves the Filipino food and here we eat grilled squid, tilapia and pork. I also love the salted egg and the lumpia. The service is friendly and attentive. The best part is that we eat using our hands like typical life in Philippine provinces. It’s a nostalgic experience that reminds me of my homeland. I highly recommend this place to anyone who wants to try Filipino cuisine or just enjoy a great meal. Pampanguena Cuisine is a gem!
