They have a good daily special drink. The food was good too, they have fried cheese curd!! Like in Canada!

Food was good! (the Mary is one of the best burgers you can get in this town) and Steven was such a fun bartender! Will return!

Lots of games to play, friendly bartender to chat with and what seemed to be regular patrons. The food was good and the menu offered a lot of tasty options. I wish I lived in the area so I could visit again.

Great place to hang out! I went on a Sunday evening and they had trivia going on - very fun! The food was so good! I got the adult happy meal and my boyfriend got the steak and cheese and we both agreed it was one of the best we’ve ever had. Drinks were so delicious!! Staff is friendly and fun - check it out!

Waited more than an hour for the food, was really disappointed at the service as they didn’t even clean my table. They did end up refunding me the bill then I left and never looked back. Not the fault of kitchen or staff, I’m guessing more of a management problem.

The bartender had a very nasty attitude. Was condescending and was very rude to the 7 other people I was with. Will not come here ever again and will make sure I tell everyone I know to avoid this place.

Craft beer, great food and vibes. Sports on multiple tvs, pool table, pinball machines & wide selection of spirits. You might meet either your greatest love, or your most powerful adversary here. LGBTQ friendly, everybody friendly. Close to live music and a stones throw away from La Mission. Do it.

Visited last Sunday and the bartender made me feel like I shouldn’t be there. She asked everyone *except* me who visited the bar if they wanted to keep their tab open, which was weird to say the least. I won’t be going back.

Great service, awesome wings, sallad, burger bit dry. But all food got cold due to weather, some heater would be nice.

Best bar food in SF; fantastic staff; great laid back atmosphere. The Willows is a must for a quick snack before clubbing at Oasis/DNA/F8. With daily specials, it’s also a great cost-saver to pregame here. My water polo team loves dropping by for after-practice dinners, as they’re super accommodating for large late-nite groups.

Love their food. Always have a good time when I'm there. Lots of games, good music, and pool. Two bars. Try to go whenever I'm going tonshow at DNA. It"s gritty and unpretentious, but I love it there (also love their sister bar, the Sycamore!)

Nice tap room with a pretty good selection at fair prices. I haven't tired the food yet. There are gnats flying around inside since the doors are kept open, but that's typical of any Soma businesses that leave their doors open. Dog friendly!

The food was tasty. Ordered the burger of the month which was a French dip inspired burger and a Mary burger both with fries. Paired these with a cider and a pale ale. The only thing that was lacking was the ambiance for the evening. 15 to 20 people in the bar and they were blasting gangster rap and the bar staff had to keep changing the song in the back periodically for a place that has more of a sports bar or board game bar. Going to try it out again another night to try more food and drinks. The back bar was closed when we were there.

Visited friday 12/30. Place was nearly empty when I got there with my group, only a few patrons at the bar. Got our ID's checked, went to go settle in by the pool table, and listened to the bartender loudly ask the person who came in behind us to get out (some issue with her ID). Within a few minutes of us sitting down and trying to get the pool table set up, the bartender began aggressively telling us to either buy drinks or get out. We explained that we had just sat down and would get drinks soon, but she continued harassing us to either get drinks or get out. A few bar patrons joined in claiming that we were only there to play pool, which was not the case. The Willows was our destination for the day and we likely would've spent the rest of our night there, but we ended up leaving as soon as we arrived since it was such a strangely hostile environment. All told we were there about five minutes. I'm not sure if the bartender was having a rough night or what, but I don't think any of us would give The Willows a second chance. Strangest and most abrasive bar experience I've ever had. No wonder it was the only empty bar we saw that night. Ended up at The Lone Star Saloon which had better games, decor, atmosphere, and a bartender who didn't yell at us.

Good bar food. Im not a huge fan of having to order with the bartender as they usually only have one on duty and they are busy making drinks. The cheese curds are always great and they make their own chicken nuggets which are kind of like katsu chicken cutlets. So crunchy and really well cooked.

I love this bar. Pretty small, laid back atmosphere. The adult happy meal keeps me coming back. Delicious wagyu burger with fries plus a toy & a dum dum with a beer and a shot... it is all you could want and more

Surprisingly good food. The fried pickle chips are great. Appreciated the decent non alcoholic beer option. Really nice local place in my neighborhood with good outdoor seating.

I met friends at the Willows for brunch. I found a cozy atmosphere and delicious brunch options there. The weather was nice so we ate in the parklet. The food was made to order and we had a large group so patience was required, but all dishes were excellent and delicious. I had a delicious minimalist bloody mary (no onions, celery, or beans). It was fabulous and just the punch you need to start the day. Street parking only here. Definitely affordable and worth the trip out.

Oh dear. This is unfortunate, but yeah. I heard about this place through an associate of mine. She ordered something different than I did, but she seemed to have enjoyed this place very much. Sadly, I cannot say the same, and I really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately this isn't the case.

Came on a Tuesday at 9:30 and it was basically empty. The metal music blaring out in the main room was a nice touch, and pretty appropriate for the atmosphere. There’s a lot of seating, and we sat in the back room where it was quieter. The bartender was super friendly, and they even let our friends kids run around as long as they didn’t disturb the few other customers. Not a lot of bars in the area open this late with food, so we’ll definitely be back.

Great food and cocktails at my pals Tim's place. Historical Hamburger Mary's location with future and honor as should be.

Love their Carne asada fries. My partner and I each got an order of those and I had Trumer pilsner from the tap. Just a great dive bar option open 7 days a week.

I so enjoyed my time here. I shared a delicious hamburger and salt and pepper fries. I loved the bartender and his girl, they are the best. Bartender is quick and witty, you accomplish something if you can keep up with his rhetoric. 🤣

The Willows has been the go to spot for my friends and I after our monthly bar night. It was nice to be able to go back into The Willows and be remembered by the staff there. Staff is friendly, the drinks are good, and the food is excellent! I highly recommend this space for a night out with friends or for a date.

Beer selection and service was great. Great relaxed vibe with quiz nights, board games, pool, etc. Although not a deal breaker, the bartender serving cocktails was distracted and we waited long for our order to be taken while at the bar.

Spacious pub with lots of indoor and outdoor seating, interesting graffiti art outside, and eclectic decor. Friendly staff, chill vibe, pool table and arcade games. Fairly loud, heavy music.

***WARNING*** Do not eat here!!! If i could give this place a zero, I would. I saw a rat run across the floor near my feet and behind the bar area while I was eating. I thought I was seeing a shadow near my foot then I realized it was a rat when I saw it run behind the bar. I left the rest of my food and drink, I was so disgusted. I will never be back to this location.
