Highly recommended for any special occasion! The food, service and environment was A+. Best view of the Bay Bridge, so cool to see it lit up at night. Oysters and steak where some of the best I’ve ever had and really loved the truffle fries and ricotta gnocchi sides. Overall, one of the most memorable restaurants I’ve dined in and I’ll definitely be going back.

View and ambiance is great! The interior is very nice with picturesque views. Staff is also good and attentive. Our host/waitress were good and friendly. Waitress was very nice and she offered to have our meals split so we can share easily. They deserve 5/5. Reason why I don’t think it lived up to the standards was the food. We went there for brunch and it was a little disappointing. Maybe just my palette, but we had a steak burger and the shrimp gumbo and both were ok. Maybe since it’s a steak house we would’ve had better luck ordering that? Gumbo could’ve used more flavoring and burger, well nothing special. Both a little over priced for what they were so technically you are paying for the beautiful restaurant and view. Drinks were better. Also their fries 5/5 . I would say come here for the view, special event or date to impress but only for drinks and appetizers?

Had wonderful-windy evening right in the front. Just came to enjoy the view, ordered half-dozen [$21] of Oysters, a Cappuccino and a Sparkling water. Even it was Mother’s day it wasn’t crowded as we thought. Service was good although felt a bit pushy in if were going to order more or leave. Passed by inside the Restaurant, have a beautiful Interior, definitely will try sitting inside next time. Total amount paid [$47]

We had dinner here last night and had a table outside. The weather was really nice, so it was great having a table outdoors with views of the water and the Bay Bridge. I was pleased with my filet and really enjoyed the sauces. The sides we ordered were great too. Our server was attentive and friendly. The service overall was on point with all the staff clearing items, timing, etc. It was a great experience. I started with a Manhattan cocktail, which was delightful. For constructive feedback, block ice (boulder) for old fashioned cocktails would be great. My husband really wanted one, but opted not to order one after learning that block/sphere ice wasn't an option. I don't blame him. Also, we would've enjoyed the option of anchovies added to our Caesar salad. All other aspects of the salads were great.

I have been DYING to try out this place for ever! We made a reservation here for our anniversary, we were greeted and seated right away with many of the hosts congratulating us on our happy anniversary. How sweet! (: We were seated at a lovely table next to the window with a large perfect view of the Bay Bridge. Shortly after we were greeted by our very helpful and kind server named Adam.

We had a great experience! Our server was friendly and attentive. The view, is well worth any wait that you may have. The burrata was so delicious and the crab cake was full of crab and a tiny bit spicey(maybe overpriced at $24? But, still mostly crab, so...) The halibut was light and flacky and the ribeye incredibly tender. The "Julia Potatoes" were so rich and buttery, definitely not a low fat item.

Came here for the first time to celebrate my birthday and I was not disappointed. Excellent service from the door to the table, beautiful views of the bay bridge in their outdoor area, beautifully prepared filet mignon and lobster tail, and an extensive collection of various alcoholic beverages to choose from. If you're looking for a beautiful restaurant for a special dinner by the water in SF, this is a good place to go.

Steaks were good ... Tender... But not the best I have had ... Great service.... Truffle fries were great. Vanilla soft serve is fantastic. Great views. The decor is a bit dark... and it feels pretty crowded...

Came here for my birthday last weekend. This steakhouse was excellent and has an awesome view of the bay bridge. The highlight of the meal was the dessert. We got the bread pudding and the sundae. It was great! Will be returning!

This place holds a special place in my heart. Been coming here for close to 6 years. A lot of amazing memories made here pre covid. The staff, food and service was always excellent. Miss the scallops entree they had. The menu is good and the drinks are strong. Sit upstairs and enjoy the atmosphere in the comfy leather couches. Great views of the bridge. Heated lanterns outside are a bonus.

Great lunch experience on a Sunday with outdoor seating. Was able to take advantage of the restaurant week special so for $65 got the 6oz filet, one side, soup/salad and a dessert. Service was very friendly and we were able to take our time enjoying the view and our bottle of wine. Would definitely return for a special occasion.

We walked in early evening for a snack, we did not have a reservation. The staff was very accommodating and got us a table. Despite being a steak restaurant, they have plenty of vegetarian sides. We ordered fries, bread and mac and cheese and tomato soup. Everything tasted really good! The highlight was the beautiful view of the Bay Bridge from the restaurant!

EPIC Steak has always been a favorite steakhouse of hours with awesome views of the Bay Bridge. Post-pandemic, the service and ambiance are still epic! The service team worked well together. The dishes were fantastic (salad, seafood and desserts) but the quality of the steaks seem to have changed. The ribeye was good but nothing amazing which may be from the quality of the beef. I would still recommend EPIC Steak!

The test of any steak house is, of course, the steak. And Epic passes this test with flying colors. Our steaks were perfectly cooked, lightly seasoned and very, very good. They use less salt than many high-end steakhouses, but provide three salts on the table for you to adjust the seasoning to taste. Be generous to really bring out the exquisite flavors. The deserts are very good and worth saving room for. The wine list is excellent. The only downside was the sides, which didn't live up to the meat, and our "Julia Childs potatoes" were cold. The service is very good - attentive and friendly. The views are extraordinary. The restaurant is right below the Bay Bridge, and you get spectacular vista's, especially at night when the bridge is lit up. It's certainly expensive, but for a special occasion or celebration, it's top notch.

Absolutely incredible meal! Did the “everything” combo. Salads were delish, steak was tender and flavorful. That truffle Mac N Cheese was to die for! Amazing views and atmosphere!! Highly recommend!!! It is pricey but for a quality steakhouse, you are looking to spend some real money. At least it was worth the price!

We didn’t have a reservation, we were warmly welcomed and treated to super friendly service. As a vegetarian, I savored their wedge salad and exotic roasted mushrooms, while my husband and daughter said the lamb was delicious. Adding to the charm, we enjoyed a beautiful view of the Bay Bridge. A truly delightful dining experience for the whole family!

We came from out of town for my boyfriends birthday and it was amazing!!! literally everything is perfect. My partner and I travel a bunch and this is by far one of the best steak houses we have ever been to. The food was perfect. The hostess and manager were so kind and welcoming as well. I highly highly recommend this place. The pictures do no justice! I wish there was an Epic steak house in Houston. Will definitely come back once we are back in San Francisco.

view was amazing. service in the bar up top was slow but very sweet. and the service in the restaurant was top notch. they have 1 of the 5 bottles of the 4.5L Graham’s 20 year tawny so that was awesome. great experience all around

You pay for the atmosphere. The quality of the food is very good! However, the quantity leaves something to be desired, which lowers the overall value. The service was not bad but does leave some room for improvement. Our server was pleasant, knowledgeable, but the service was slower than what one would expect for a restaurant of this quality. Even though we reserved ahead of time, we had to ask for a better table with a better view that they kindly accommodated.

We drove in from out of state and decided to have our anniversary dinner here which was recommended to us, and it was definitely worth it! The best food, and above all the best customer service we have ever had! Everyone was so warm and friendly they even gave us an anniversary dessert with candles and a card that was signed by the staff! Hope to definitely visit here again, and I will be telling all of my friends and family about this amazing experience!!!❤️❤️❤️ Our server Tregg was outstanding!! Very good high end steak restaurant with fish and some other offerings as well. Be prepared to be buying $60 steaks with appropriately priced appetizers and so forth. Good service, well presented, great location on a waterfront at San Francisco. You can go upstairs to wait in the bar while waiting for a table. Overall a solid choice.

Epic Steak came recommended to us, and they undersold just how AMAZING the experience is. The views are stunning, the food is spectacular, and the staff was incredibly friendly and hospitable. This made our last night in town very memorable, and I can’t wait to come back!

Food and service was amazing. Michael was our server and he was just great. He was polite, funny and attentive. I thoroughly enjoyed the whole experience. The rib eye was cooked perfectly and the wagyu was mouth watering.

Best ribeye in SF. But, the best part was the service. Vera was absolutely fantastic and the attention to detail by her and the other staff was phenomenal. What a great choice for our anniversary dinner.
