While walking around Haight Ashbury we found this place for lunch. They brew their own beers and have nice American fare on the menu. The burger was moist and tasty. The steak was tender and very flavorful though they forgot my chimichurri sauce. Both entrees were a good portion so we didn't have any space for dessert.

One of our favorite SF brewery/gastropub. The food here is amazing and goes so well with their very tasty bear. We are definitely coming back here to try more of their food.

I may be living in the past but, the current state of Magnolia is an unfortunate departure from made this establishment worth visiting. Formerly focused on well-executed English beer styles and truly delectable food, now bedazzle guest with the ubiquitous ipa made 10 different ways and a burger heavy menu. This place feels more a tourist trap than a focal point for craft beer. Just goes to show, that given enough time and corporate pressure, what once was a vibrant space of artistic expression can become crushed into monotony by data points and bottom lines.

Beer is good, but not great. Food quality has greatly diminished in the past few years (as of May 2022), and the menu is small and mostly typical brewpub food. Overall, very disappointing, as I used to go out of my way to visit.

Terrific atmosphere and the service is too notch. If you are looking for a great place to grab a brew and a snack before shipping in the Haight look no further!! The vibe and music is eclectic and family friendly.

Great pub and very friendly welcoming service. We had a beer and tonic drink plus the chicken wings and bradwurst. We loved the bradwurst - really tasty, but the buffalo basted chicken wings weren’t that great. Perhaps next time we will try the other basting.

Solid gastropub in the old hippie district of San Francisco. Nice selection of local beer. Menu somewhat limited but of high quality. Get a parking fairy!

Thank you guys so so much for accommodating our 20+ group. Yall were amazing. The food was fabulous. I got the Cosmic Seas that was to die for and another coworker for the shark bite, he said that was amazing too. Appreciate yall! We will def be back the next time we hold a company summit!

We really loved every beer we tried (we each had a different flight so tried most of their range). The bar staff were really friendly and helpful too. Loved the Monterey aquarium live feed on the TV instead of sport too!

Great spot for food and beer in Haight Ashbury. Their beer flights are well priced and allow you to try 4 different beers from the menu, and the fried chicken sandwich was one of THE BEST I’ve ever had!!

This place has changed a lot over the years, but I still love it! The beer is more generic now (bring back the bitters!), but it's still solid. Food is much better than it was.

Over the top customer friendly. Ice cold delicious beer. The music was classic R&B, which makes you feel right at home. Matt is delightful ✌🏽a must see in Haight- Ashbury.

First time we visited this place! And we all loved it! My cousin Berkeley ordered the burger, it was cooked perfectly. And he said he liked it. My daughter ordered a fish and chips, and hands down it's the best she's had. I tried some and she was not wrong! I ordered this shrimp sandwich with fries, and I wasn't disappointed. Sauce was really good, and the bread was beautifully buttered!!! I'm getting hungry again just think about it.

Western Horizon IPA was the best beer we tried. Service was good. The place was very busy.

Staffs were friendly, beers were good. I didn’t give it a 5 star because the food was not very impressive. After all, a nice place to hang out with friends and take some drinks.

This is a nice place to hang out. They have great beer, cool atmosphere, and friendly service. I hope next time I'm in town to be able to stay longer and try the food. Well worth visiting.

Biased because I remember pre-buyout Magnolia. The stars are for the service, which was attentive. The cheese board is drastically overpriced. The beer is B+ in a S-ranked scene. The garlic fries are great. The tempura cauliflower relies on the sauce for flavor.
