Simply amazing, happened to be walking around the area and I spotted this place, I’m glad I did and YOU SHOULD TOO! You will thank me later. I had a slice of the combo which was as expected, classic and straightforward (and it didn’t have black olives which I am a huge fan of) and the bbq chicken was PHENOMENAL, totally blew me out of the water. I had the pleasure of washing it all down with a fair price beer(Maui Waui, really good, I recommend) and it all came out under $20 thanks to their lunch special. I’ll put it this way folks, the pizza was so tasty I forgot to put peppers and cheese because it was so DAMN good!

I was on my way out of the city and wanted a couple of slices. The location is good if you're heading down to 280. I found parking at 7:30pm on a Wednesday to be pretty easy. I found a spot three blocks away so it was a quick walk. On to the pizza! I found the selection of slice choices to be good and well displayed. I order a slice of "Hawaiian" and pepperoni and mushroom. My order was popped into the mini reheating oven before able to get my wallet out. Very speedy. The reheating took about 5 minutes. I ordered to go so both slices were placed into one of their "bib boxes". I took my slices back to the car and enjoyed some great pizza. In particular, the sauce is very good. The crust is thin and was a little tough but I usually expect that from "by the slice" pizza.

Great outer sunset neighborhood spot for pizza by the slice. They have a huge outdoor parklet as well as indoor dining. It went through renovations a couple years back, and they did a great job streamlining pickup or dine-in. Everything is modern and clean for a late-night pizza joint. We were happy with our combo and barbecue chicken slices.

Another spot to add to my restaurants that are open late list! A neighborhood spot that has great food is one of my favorite places. When you walk in, you can immediately see all the pizza that is available. Even coming in around 9:00 p.m., there are still a ton of slices left. You can't go wrong with any of their pizzas! We recently got the Cheesy Garlic Fries which were really delicious and the portion is huge. I would definitely recommend ordering it as a side and sharing it. Another one of my favorites is the Moo Walk pasta. Tons of flavor and a really large portion. Another thing that we got were the fried Oreos. Reminiscent of fair food, you would think these are crazy sweet but honestly they are not. The sweetest part of the Oreos was definitely the drizzle that was on top. Staff is super friendly and helpful!

I was walking through the area and saw a sign for Vegan pizza so decided to check it out. They do Vegan pizza by the slice for $7 and it is a HUGE slice of pizza! It was super filling because they use Vegan cheese and meat and had a decent selection. You can choose from cheese, Pepperoni, Supreme, or Vegan meat lovers. I tried the Supreme and Vegan meat lover and I liked the Supreme more it wad a good balance of Vegan meat and veggies. I can't wait to come back. Also worth noting they keep the Vegan pizza in the back separate from the meat and dairy pizza. 10/10 great place to eat in the back and great customer service.

First time here ordered a pepperoni large and a Calzone pepperoni and salami. Pizza was a cheesey delicious slice. The calzone was equally cheesey the marinara chef's kiss brings it home. Absolutely coming back for more next time you're in SF near Irving go here and try this place!

We were in town for a few days visiting San Francisco and stumbled up on this place. To our surprise, they have some good pizza here. The service was good and the food was good. I had the chicken pizza and the chicken was just right along with the just right crust! Check this place out. You will like it.

This was a great spot for a late night slice. But the pizza I had, which was the chicken slice, you could tell they kept throwing it in the oven to warm up. The host was also kind as well with the service. The crust was hella hard to even bite. Thank you for the experience in the outdoor venue!

Got a large pizza half BBQ chicken and half combo. I thought there was too much BBQ sauce on the BBQ chicken one. Other than that the pizza is pretty standard - nothing too outstanding. It's thin crust and fairly sized and priced. Usually not gonna have a long wait or be too crowded here. This is on a very crowded block so parking might be tough. Also the outdoor seating is nice and dog friendly. Enjoy!

Loved the pizza, you can order by slices which is awesome as each slice is a good size. We had slices of chicken, bbq and veggie pizza and all of them were great. Cheese fries were amazing. All in all would definitely recommend this place.

Love that they have vegan pizza by the slice! We just got the cheese pizza but they also have meat options. Pizza was really good! I was happy to hear that they use follow your heart cheese. The staff was also really friendly, will definitely be back

Wings are pretty good! Would have liked them little crispy, but still good. Pizza slices are hit or miss since they are pre-made. The whole pies are much better. Good place for a quick bite and friendly service. They do open past midnight on weekends which is rare in sunset.

What makes a good pizza? This nonsensical, yet deeply philosophical, question has sparked countless debates and even more foodie documentaries. I am here to say, i have found the answer - and it came to me after finishing my first slice at Hole in the Wall Pizza on Irving. The modern era has given rise to Detroit style, we of course have had deep dish circling the drain for years now. Yet it is refreshing to still find a slice house that, after your first bite, floods you with contented feelings and nostalgic memories of why you (we) love pizza. The ingredients, the atmosphere, the friendly staff and the hole in your heart ache that gets filled when you bite into that first beautiful slice after a long day - THAT is what makes a good pizza, and THAT is why i will be coming back time and again to Hole in the Wall Pizza on Irving (bonus points for offering the option of slices, not just the whole pizza and the great selection of vegan options - best hometown vegan pizza in the City).
