Yes the pastries ARE great an the lunch is OK, but at least on the ground floor you have to endure this all served by unfriendly staff in an atmosphere which at times sounds like a factory hall. Worse today’s staff is borderline incompetent: forgot my fork for lunch, had to ask and wait to get some sugar for my coffee, and did not clean tables. Sorry but that is not professional .

Update: 2023 March- went back again and this time a complete new team. Very friendly staff and good service. The cafe was packed but the server was quite patient. The pastries are still delicious. We had breakfast here once and will never return. One server was very impatient and rude towards us when we ordered our food. She not only forgot to give us the receipt, fork and knife, she also did not clean all the tables. We also couldn’t pay cash so we were forced to give her tips. I didn’t know the reason why she was so stressed out but we were polite. It is a pity that the food was quite good but I will recommend not enter this restaurant.

Our party of 11 had awesome experience in One65 Bistro, recently opened. We ordered three course menu for everyone's, so every person could choose an appetizer, main course and dessert. The water was included, and some folks also added coffee, beer or cocktails (very good). Also we got a bottle of wine, proposed by their someller. It was very good, though a bit expensive. The portions were not big, but after eating all three courses, combined with a serving of French bread, we felt full and happy. Every dish looked gorgeous; some were more tasty than others, though all were above average. The service was impeccable, on the level of very expensive restaurants. We were seated at the side with two tables combined, so it was like having a semi-private party, without a separate room. The total price was very reasonable, taking into account it included food, drinks, wine, tax and tips. Will definitely come again. Highly recommended.

ONE65 has many options in one building, and on many floors. We only visited the patisserie on the ground floor as we came by on a Sunday. We will come back to visit the restaurant too though. The patisserie in a long and deep room which is dominated by a long counter, filled with various sweets. This is a fantastic patisserie where the various sweets are true works of art. The ingenuity behind physical design and content of the various sweets is amazing. There are so many options to choose from that one needs a fair bit of time before deciding on what to pick. There also are homemade sausages and pates, different types of yogurt, and even an earl grey old fashion in a small bottle. There are many different coffee variants to choose from. The staff is very friendly and professional and immediately offered advice and ideas of what to pick from. This is a one-of-its-kind patisserie in San Francisco. In fact, we can probably only think of European patisseries that would match this one. We loved the visit and the various sweets and coffees and will come back again. Ambience: 4/5 Staff: 5/5 Sweets/coffee: 5/5 Price/quality: 4/5 (pricey but the quality is excellent)

Like their macaroons, nutella and chocolate are yummy, the Birthday macaroons are cute . Chocolate are okay. Recommend the shop to make a price list of the macarons and chocolate , it's easier for consumers to decide what to buy. And staffs seems impatient to tell the price.

I’m glad to see The Bistro at ONE65 reopen after a long break! I’m a fan of their amazing Patisserie on the ground floor but had never ventured upstairs til this month. The Bistro is a more “casual” California/French dinner restaurant on the third floor with an open kitchen. ONE65 is also home to the Michelin-starred fine dining concept O’ by Chef Claude Le Tohic and Elements Bar. ONE65 Bistro currently has three set menus - two, three, and five courses. The prix fixe menus are a bit on the pricey side, but depending on what you order, they can be more in line with typical San Francisco pricing. We opted for the three course menu (two sets total) and were quite full, especially after the irresistible complimentary bread. We started with some refreshing appetizers - vibrant kampachi ceviche and seasonal heirloom tomatoes with basil and burrata. Finishing the leftover sauces with baguette from the bread plate was a must. And the decadent croissant - perhaps the most buttery I’ve experienced - was sinfully good on its own. The main courses were both substantial. I chose the campanelle pasta with romesco mascarpone sauce and mushrooms. This was quite enjoyable, with the hearty sauce easily picked up by the al dente campanelle ruffles. He got the grilled half lobster, and though I think lobster is generally overrated, I found myself impressed with the tenderness of this one. Our server indulged our request for more bread, so we got to also try the brioche, another winner! And if that weren’t enough bread, we opted for the cheese plate with walnut bread for a savory dessert course. The other dessert was a spin on a peach melba, with poached peaches, strawberry sorbet, and a crispy almond cookie. Overall we really enjoyed the meal, the friendly service, and the counter seating open kitchen view. When I’m feeling splurgy, I definitely want to try O’ given how strong this bistro menu was.

Randomly found this place as we were walking back to hotel. Deserts looked so perfect as to be cut with a laser or molded out of plastic. Truly amazing visuals so we tried a few. Everything we tied was amazing. Flavors were understated and subtle- not over the top sweet. Exactly as I like my sweets.

The pastries in the bakery looked absolutely decadent. We went upstairs for cocktails and it was a very cozy, relaxed bar. Great place for happy hour & to get some work done. The ceviche on the happy hour menu was very, very tasty but just a small portion for the price.

A nice place for pastries and coffee. It was very close by the hotel I stayed at around Union Square. Enjoyed their flat white a lot. Pastries were good. I visited almost every morning when I was in San Francisco.

Average pastry boutique. All pastry and dessert were beautifully displayed. Great variety from croissant including kouignette to cake, macaron, chocolate, and icecream. You can enjoy almost every pastry. And you can order breakfast and lunch menu too. This shop is fancy so that price is not inexpensive. There are some indoor and outdoor seats. Since this is located in the center of downtown SF, always busy. But to-go order takes not too long time. Actually, I ordered one croissant for to-go because I am not a big eater in the morning. The staff kept asking me whether one croissant is enough. I felt a little bit upset but it might be for clarification for the busy morning.

First time here, I was greeted by a very lovely woman. We talked desserts and the team that makes them. All very beautiful! I was pleasantly impressed by the blackberry earl grey mousse. I will never forget it. I recommend anyone to stop by here and just try something new, you won’t regret it!<3

Amazing coffee, pastries and breakfast! The eggs Benedict in a croissant was absolutely delicious! I’ve also had their egg omelette which wasn’t all that but their pastries and coffee was always perfection. Atmosphere was eh, great decor but eh. Service was great and the delicious meals and pastries that come out of the kitchen were definitely worth the 2nd and 3rd return to this place for coffee.

Great for a casual weekend brunch. The banana chocolate croissant is a must. Their plain croissant is one of the best in SF alongside Arsicault. The ham in the croissant Benedict could be better so take the avocado toast instead. All desserts look and taste great! Love that it doesn’t have a line. Could be more atmospheric but can’t have everything.

This is for the first floor desserts and pastry shop. Not only is everything tasty and fantastic but the service is incredible. Came in with my frenchie and everyone was so welcoming and wanted to say hello. They even mentioned for future visits its ok to dine in with a pet. Shared a story of their own pet and I just appreciate those human interactions at these kinds of establishments. Anyways I've always been a fan of the Imperial but saw they had tons of new sweets so had to try something new. The zephyr and chocolate flan are so good! Portion is huge and rich. Velvety mouth feel and they are very well packaged and presented. Top tier for sure. The price can be a bit of a shell shock bit you get what you pay for and that's quality, passion and deliciousness. The location is great, easy to find and clean. I love coming here.

Ordered a Blueberry Earl Grey Mousse and an Imperial. A bit pricy but they worth you every single penny! My husband is a French and he also mentioned the omelet he had was properly cooked in a french style, as the chief mixed the egg liquid with cheese before fried it. Overall, ONE65 has decent pastries and I will highly recommend it to my friends.

Stopped in the patisserie on the first floor and got 2 cakes/tarts as well as some macarons to go. They were all amazing and we will be back!! There was a lot to choose from and the employee helping us was friendly while I struggled to not buy 1 of everything.

Delicious place for desserts. Pastries are exquisite but also $$. $11 for opera cake slice and $21 for 6 macarons. Unique flavors of macarons though. Nice place for a treat once in a while! The blonde female server was very nice and helpful--wish I got her name! Thanks for making it a fun outing for our little one ☺️

I love this place. All the candies and pastries are delicious specially all the macaroons. Every time I visit SF I always have to stop and get some and take even more home. Definitely one of my favorite spots. Really good selection of goodies and drinks. Visit this place and you won’t be disappointed
