I fully get that this place is a tourist destination first and a food destination second, but the positive reviews did build my expectations a bit. Overall, this restaurant is filled with fun, nostalgic kitsch and I’m glad we went. If I could do it over again, however, I’d go with a cheap sandwich rather than the more expensive seafood offerings.

My girlfriend and myself had a great time at coopers. It is a paradise for "The Office" fans and is a lot of fun. We went to Scranton for the weekend and visited this little gem. There is a full The Office store inside and so much more. Many decorative pieces all over the walls as well. You could spend hours in there just looking at everything. It is a very cool place. We got the shark bites as a app. They were alright but hey. It's shark. We had to try it. We got the seafood platter for dinner. It was good but not great. The portions were pretty small for the $35 price tag. I left hungry. That's why they ate only getting 4 stars. The food could have been a little better in overall price and quantity but all and all it was a awesome place to visit.

We visited Cooper's as fans of The Office and were very pleased to find this is more than a kitschy restaurant with some primetime fame. We were greeted by a friendly hostess and happily surprised there was no wait on a Saturday night. The food and drinks were delicious. Their seafood tasted fresh and the french fries were very flavorful. They serve kids meals in little paper boats which makes meal time more enjoyable for both kids and parents. After you eat, take a walk around on the main level and explore the history and fun items displayed on the walls. They also have a nice gift shop with a focus on items that will delight fans of The Office. My only complaint is that there is a separate draft beer menu depending on whether you are eating outside on the patio or inside the main restaurant. The outside draft list is only four beers while the inside list offers more including their own beers brewed in house.

My wife and I had a great experience here! We were seated immediately even on a Saturday evening and service was great despite being pretty busy. We ordered the shark bites, tried a few soups, and got two different seafood entrees and every single item was fantastic. The beer and cocktail menu is very impressive, it may be the largest one I’ve actually ever seen. We very highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely be back!

Disclaimer: I did not eat there so no reviews about food or its quality. I went there beacuse of its association with The Office. And I was not disappointed! This place is great of you are a fan of the Office. The staff is very friendly and they are very helpful. An entire section is devoted for the memorabilia from the show. You can also buy lot of office related gifts. Apart from that, it has gallery for other pop culture art and it's a definitely must go place for the fan of series.

Great food and amazing decor, this place has something for everyone. Everything we ordered was very delicious. We have visited several times, and every time we discover something new to eat and to see. Truly, a pleasure for all senses.

Awesome place. Food was terrific but for me it was the extra little atmosphere. Gift shop was nice plus bathroom all done up and halls to walk and see small fun things of the past.

What's not to say about this place! They have rooms with different themes, memorabilia everywhere, a great rooftop dwck/bar, and they had norm! The food was delicious, service took a little to get to our table after we were seated. A local gem and was a blast. The drinks were great and the custom toothpicks were a great touch! Also the office fans dream.

Amazing food, friendly staff and fair prices. Delicious fried calamari and burgers. Interior decoration makes it feel like back in time. Lots of historic items. Some of the items remain me of my childhood ☺️

Great place to eat with tons of nostalgia on every nook and cranny. The food is good to. Lol had King crab tonight but we started with calimari, Very tasty. The seafood bisque was next which didn't disappoint. The crab came with excellent 🍟's and the coleslaw. We have been here for different meals and have all been good. We did miss out on the oysters, buck a shuck. Can't beat that.

Came to Coopers for the first time. I could not take the smile off my face. I was just so blown away with the atmosphere. I stepped back in time with the photos and decorations. Food was incredible! Drinks AMAZING and great service. My only negative I can say about this place is WHERES the basket of bread? I HIGHLY recommend this place. We will be back. There is so much to see and I know we missed a lot. We walked out pleasantly surprised!

My wife and I visited Cooper’s Seafood House for the first time today. We moved to the Poconos over a year ago and we’re celebrating our dating anniversary. We wanted to do something different so we chose seafood. It was the best choice ever! The restaurant opened around Noon today. We arrived a few minutes after Noon and the parking lot was packed. There was plenty of parking but we were surprised that the restaurant was so busy for a weekday lunch. As we parked, we knew this was definitely the place to be. We walked inside and the walls are covered with memorabilia from North Eastern Pennsylvania history; as well as, actors, actresses, and musicians. It was a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere. People were just walking around and looking at the various photos and antiques. The place is filled with history. We sat down with our kids in a booth. It was absolutely family friendly. There were other children around the restaurant eating too. The menu had choices for everyone to include me. I have a food allergy that I am still learning. I had no problem with finding a good meal. The waitress even caught on and documented my allergy. She also gave suggestions. Normally, I feel frustrated, confined and restricted due to my allergy. Definitely not here. There is stuff for everyone! Most of the food is made fresh as if it was homemade. The kids were happy too. They had dinosaur chicken nuggets and fries which came in a fun cardboard boat. The restaurant also had a brewery. The choices of drinks was mind blowing! In addition to their microbrews, the restaurant had over 10 pages of beers, wine, ciders, whiskey, bourbon, and scotch. Today’s special was martinis which is great because my go to drink is a lemon drop martini. With this in mind, we do a lot of traveling around the United States due to work. I have had martinis from Maine to Florida. This drink was the best one I ever had! Normally there is either too much vodka or too little sour mix. This bartender was a master! He mixed the drink with just the right alcohol, sour mix, and simple syrup. The drink was perfect! The presentation of the drink was spot on high class. It didn’t taste or look like it would be a daily special. Our service was amazing! We highly recommend Tiffany! She was totally on point throughout the meal. She refilled our drinks without us asking. She asked me several times if I wanted another martini. She gave several suggestions for us and the kids. She was attentive to my food allergy. After ordering our food, she saw our two year old was fussy and trying to settle in. Tiffany out of no where brought over crayons and coloring papers for the kids. It’s been a long time since we had this great of an experience dining out. We will definitely return. We have already told our friends and family about this restaurant. You will definitely see us again soon!

It’s exactly the type of food that you’d expect just by looking at it. It’s a kitschy place with a LOT of stuff on the wall and decorations. When sitting at the booth, they play videos through the blinds. It was Oktoberfest time and they were playing videos from Oktoberfest in Germany which we thought was very cool. They also have elaborate displays of some TV shows/movies likes Gilligan’s Island, TMNT, and Star Wars. As for the food, we upgraded our kid’s drink to the “shark attack” which is basically a Shirley temple but you get to pour the cherry syrup from a shark toy. Their food is served in a cute paper boat. We had the soft shell crab tacos which was alright. Some parts of the soft shell crab were super fishy and some parts were fine. We also had the crab roll and that was packed with crab and was pretty good. Coleslaw was meh. Fries were ok, not that crispy though. But the best part of this place was The Office merch they were selling. You wouldn’t find any other place with this much fun stuff. We had a great time here overall.

Had the fish and chips, they were delicious 😋 The service was quick. Great atmosphere for a family or just the two of you. Love history and story of how the restaurant was started. Will be going back soon.

Outstanding service! Outstanding food! Outstanding atmosphere! Thank you! My husband and I dropped our off to college and we were searching Google maps for food. I found a Mexican restaurant that looked appetizing and my husband researched a Seafood house. He said “I think they’re good it says they have been in business for 75 years.”I was a little apprehensive about it because we’ve been to seafood restaurants in the north and they were all very disappointing. Well!!! Let me just say I am so glad he found this place “ Cooper’s Seafood House. I wish I could have given them 10 stars. From the moment we walked in the service was exceptional. The food was absolutely outstanding. The best Alfredo I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The drink, Mango Island Daiquiri was absolutely amazing. I had two. My husband had the fish and chips and he absolutely loved it. To top it off our waitress Moxxie ( Diana) was absolutely exceptional. She had a large table she was waiting on, but we didn’t notice because she was patient with us being it was our first time there and we never knew she was missing. She was very attentive . We will definitely be back and we are requesting her each time. She let us know her schedule before we left. If you’re ever in the area this restaurant should definitely be on your list.

I was in town for work and we decided to check out some locations related to "The Office." Cooper's was great, regardless of the show connection. Lots of nautical/pirate displays, great food, and our server (Liz) was awesome. The crab pretzel, shark bites, and seafood crepes were all great. I told my wife upon returning home it would be worth a 4-5 hour road trip just to go there. The "Office" gift shop was cool as well; got my kids a few things. A must if you are in the area.

The food was pretty good. Seafood was delicious. The atmosphere was amazing. You can spend an hour just looking at all the walls and all the different photos and stuff in there. Really nice place to bring your family for dinner. I recommend it highly

A very quirky atmosphere but a very serious menu and service. Thought this might be way too quirky with its Gillian Island welcome but at least for the outdoor bar the service was excellent and the food top notch. Had the crab cakes (meaty and tasty) and a house salad (fresh!). Beer list is extensive and beer on tap was a nice selection. A fav of the locals especially due to its associated with The Office sitcom, as well as its live music on weekends. Good spot to take the kids while you enjoy a good drink and a nice dinner!

Great food take out wasn't what I expected. I went on Thursday it was my birthday and they didn't have Alaskan King Crab leg it wasn't noted before I went so never thought of asking or calling ahead since it is a big dish there... Sadly, I left and will return when it's a crableg night 🌙 Coopers isn't what it once was it is still amazing, just a difference in the way things are run I guess I missed my Birthday dinner...

My hubby and I was traveling back from Hoosick Falls and found Coopers on a whelm. The food was the best I've had from a restaurant in a very long time! Our waitress was welcoming and attentive even thought they were very busy. Next time traveling, we will be stopping again. All I can say, keep your chef!

Love this place! Wish I lived closer, but found it online and realized it's from The Office and had to come! Plus the place is so neat, basically a museum and so many fun props and memorabilia. The deck area is so cozy and there are multiple bars, really wish I lived nearby Id be there all the time! Lots of photo ops! Good service and good food. The clams and cheesy scallop crock were incredible. The lobster roll was fine, I have had better it could be hotter when it comes out and more buttery, bread was a tad stale but it was good enough to eat. Great fries. My aunt had the catfish and really liked it. Will come back when I get the chance, would like to try more things on the menu!

How do I even put this place into words? A massive nautical, museum with memorabilia and toys from the last century- early 1900s through current toys, a lighthouse, tiki deck + so much more that specializes in seafood plus has a micro brewery, in Scranton of all places. You could spend days in here looking at everything, shopping in “the office” themed gift shop, and hours filling up your belly, but of course we had to try their brews. Louis our waiter was super enthusiastic about telling us the history and I put him to the test when I asked him where any vintage 1980s strawberry shortcake toys were. What a fun find! Will definitely stop in again while passing through.

A memorable event from start to finish. Happy and helpful hostess greeted us and seated us at wonderful table. Waitress was delightful, patient and helpful with the a myriad of questions. Food was delicious and a good value. Skip the water...but the coffee was really tasty...full bodied. Key lime pie finished us all off.
