We’ve always wanted to try Waffle House so when we visited Pennsylvania we had to try it! When we came here there was a lot of parking available in front which was great! The food was good and cheap. It was prepared quickly as well. We tried the Texas Sausage Egg & Cheese Melt which was kinda greasy but still good. The place was pretty small and old looking. Our server was nice and friendly! We enjoyed eating breakfast here.

Can never complain about the Waffle House experience. After a vacation where every meal for a family of five was over $100 it’s nice to have a good meal that doesn’t break $50. Only ones in the restaurant for dinner so the service was fantastic.

Go if you like your bacon so overdone it turns to ash in your mouth, your hash browns cold and your scrambled eggs wet and runny. I wish I could blame it on being busy, but there were only two other people there eating. I know it’s not supposed to be fine dining, but it should at least be edible. Major disappointment.

Always wanted to try Waffle House. None in my area, so when I was away in Pennsylvania, I was in Scranton and saw they had one. So me and the wife stopped by and finally tried it out. I was definitely going to get a waffle, and I got a breakfast scramble as well. My wife got the all star breakfast. Waffles are definitely amazing. Soft and buttery, and the whipped spread they give you to add on to it adds to it. The eggs and hashbrowns are good as well. The prices are really cheap, maybe due to the area? Or is it usually this cheap? It's also 24hrs so you can get waffles whenever.

I love the Waffle House! The waffles are fantastic especially now that they put the toppings in the waffle instead of on top! The hash browns are crispy! Even the bacon was crispy this time! When I travel I love to stop here to get a quick bite to eat. I prefer stopping here over any other fast food place. We were in and out in about 20 minutes.

After attending my mom's funeral. I noticed there was a waffle house in this area. So I drove an hour and a half to get here.. it was an awful drive almost hitting 3 deer on the way. But arrived to this location at 3am. THE WAITRESS. was excellent and very kind. I cannot say the same for the other worker who I think was a manager. she seemed like a stuck up managers that every employee hates. She had green hair and was arguing with the kind waitress about how to do her job even though she was doing her job excellently and was complaining about day crew. After getting my classic waffle that I waited so long for and looked forward to the whole drive... It turned out to be undercooked. When I noticed this I was in absolute shambles. My friend even kept telling me "im sorry I'm sorry" like it was her fault. This place made it was her fault. When it wasn't her fault. In fact, it was waffle House's fault. I am never driving an hour and a half for a waffle House again. Don't come here at 3am

When you first walk in you smell the smell of breakfast and it's just amazing this is my very first time at a Waffle House. Katlin was our server and she was very friendly and talkative. I had the best waffle ever today definitely coming back to this Waffle House when we're back in this area.

I ordered a waffle and bacon. The bacon tasted very, very salty and I got half way through my plate and started not feeling good pretty quick. The whole rest of the day I felt sick and then started throwing up and having diarrhea all night long. It was obvious food poisoning. Very disappointed.

People are always nice, upbeat. Food is obviously only Waffle House menu, but it's always prepared quickly and well, no matter the cook. Place could be a little cleaner, but then I am generally there later evening and that could be part of the reason for that. Location is a minute or two off I-81, super easy to get to.

I was skeptical because I had bad experiences at other Waffle House locations. They definitely made this experience perfect. The food and service both great. It was pretty busy but all the staff had smiles and warm welcomes for us. Very comfortable and welcoming atmosphere.

Classic waffle house vibe. Old school dive diner feel but with great service and decent food. Open kitchen so you can watch the short order cook do their magic in getting all the food out to the hungry customers.

Usually, WH is really good. However, this morning, it was not. First, it was an icebox. Second, food got cold real fast. Third, they gave me orange tea because they were out of regular, something should have been said when I ordered it. The server was not friendly at all. She acted like it was a chore to be working. Waste of money today.

The food is pretty okay. The breakfast bowl is always good. Everyone was friendly and nice and felt very welcome. The food always comes out fast. The place over all was a bit dirty

It was the waffle house experience I was hoping for. The food was delicious, and the service was fast and pleasant. I wish there was a waffle house closer to home.

I ordered a waffle and it was delicious. The cook and waitresses were happy. I saw training was going on. I told my waitress I had the card ready and she went to say I'll take it this time but we're not suppose to take the card by hand as if I knew that. If she kindly just said "Hey I can pay you out over here" it would have made a bit more sense. Better Communication is always key.

Really great food as always! Me and my family love eating at Waffle House. I ordered the All Star with chocolate chip waffles, T bone steak, hush browns, scrambled eggs, and a coffee ☕ it was so good!!

Service was excellent for what the place was. They seriously downgraded the menu & no longer have steak or pork chops. I got (Hormel style) chili with a heavy on the Texas toast side grill cheese sandwich. Also ordered the hash browns that were just okay. Food was mediocre at best.

O Waffle House how we wish you were here in NY. We visit Coal township several times a year and on our way we always stop at the Waffle House in Scranton PA. We love it. Always fast service and the food is always great. Make sure to try the peanut butter waffle. The Waffle House has always been so simple but an awesome place to stop and grab a bite to eat. Yum

Dam do I love waffle house. Today I got a bowl and a waffle! Both amazing as always and as only waffle house can?! The server was very nice and super awesome for asking my pronouns! 🫶 I will be back for the food and the awesome people. I mean come on there was a mini jam session when the staff started singing. Go here!🙌

Great as I Imagines it would be hoping they expand the stores to more northern states in the future cause its nice.

Second time coming here I drove all the way from Long Island New York just to eat their breakfast and the girls there are sweet, kind and super funny definitely making this my breakfast spot

Stopped for breakfast while heading to Cleveland. The service was excellent. Our server was very friendly. The food was very good as well. I will stop by here again the next time I'm in the area. I mean who doesn't like a waffle house

TRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!! If I could give this location negative stars I would. The service was trash and the food was trash. How do you write down the wrong order…Definitely won’t be back and would NEVER RECOMMEND this place to anyone.

Changed there prices. Plus they did not add the onions and bacon to My side piece. 24$ +5 $ tip for two sandwiches with ????? What ever they called it. I miss the other lady. Or three months ago that dude was awesome. Please get better help again. 💯 Percent happy your open 24 hours again.

Customer service is very serious of their work. Clean place. Could been cheaper cooking at home but at times stopping here is worthy. I still say coffee should be free on meal orders. Once a week here is ,could be, would be nice.

driving thru scranton at around 3:30pm stopped for coffee and food fuel ... on the plus side > friendly server. jukebox. ww2 vet a booth away. on the honestly this wouldn't be on my radar if i where here when i'm typically in a waffle house say 3am after a show or whatnot > oil needs to be changed. grumpy cook (which is completely understandable).

Amazing service! We were traveling before Thanksgiving and were in need of hot coffee and warm meal. They took great care of us and had a blast chatting too.

Very nice and friendly staff the food is amazing I had the sausage egg and cheese grits and coffee. Tasted amazing definitely a great place to take your family if you want some good cooking and a great atmosphere for reasonable prices you get your money's worth of food

First time in any Waffle House house. My expectations were modest but I was pleasantly surprised at the food. The bacon, egg and cheese hash brown bowl was so tasty, the waffle was the right amount of vanilla sweet, the coffee was delicious (I am fussy about my coffee). But my absolute favorite thing about this experience was our waitress CJ, she was so genuinely nice, welcoming, caring and so good at her job, I’m sorry I didn’t get the chef’s name, he was very friendly and happy. Thank you guys for making this such a great stop on our way from NY to Hershey.
