My guides were both superb in their knowledge and their desire to show off their country. They were very accommodative to what I wanted to see in Iran along with their suggestions as to what I might like to visit were always good choices. The restaurants we visited each day for lunch were traditional and exactly what I was hoping for. They really opened up my taste palate to Persian cuisine! Even though I have come back home to America, I feel like I made two friends so I can still be connected to Iran. Along with the incredible sights I saw in Persepolis, Shiraz, Tehran, Qom and Isfahan I found that the hotel choices were most suitable. The rooms were clean along with the bathrooms. Each place also had very nice breakfast spread each morning especially in Isfahan. I have been getting a lot of questions regarding my trip since I have been home and I have had nothing but great things to say about Iran and my personalized trip. Our guide. organized buy the Iran Travelling Center, Ali was very good and helpful with excellent English. Amir, driver/guide was very good as well. These guys knew their country's history, Persian poems, the best restaurants (even vegetarian), the best coffee shops and the best ice cream shops.The Peugeot car was good and the trip organization excellent. We traveled from Shiraz, to Esphahan, Kashan and Tehran. We liked the traditional hotels the best with lovely courtyards. Congratulations to Iran Travelling Centre for choosing Ali & Amir for guide & driver and the organisation of the 7 day trip. The Iran people we met were very friendly too. The initial email communication with Iran Travelling Centre was a little slow and transferring money was impossible so we took cash. (US dollars preferred in Iran). But once there at Shiraz everything was great. Our visa was ready at the airport for us but you need Euro 100 each person cash total for the fee (Australian passport). Amir, the patient driver, was waiting at the airport at 2:20 am! For our next Iran trip we will go from Meshad across the top of the Caspian Sea to Tabriz. a very different part of Iran.
